Great---Awesome!

Eventually I want to have the bathroom down in the basement fefinished and some other odds and ends jobs in other parts of the house donw and I will be using Mountain again.

They were very helpful in getting us into our home within a very tight window. We purchased a home that was near forclosure and it needed alot of work. Within a week they were able to paint the entire interior flawlessly and have tile laid in two bathrooms and a dinning room. We were very specific in what we wanted and they listen to us and delivered exactly what we said.

Glenn is very nice to work with. Showed up on time, started project as promised and finished quickly. Pleasant, professional and neat work site. Would definitely use him again.

Glenn was absolutely great to meet with. He was knowledgeable, professional and exuded a sort of soft-spoken kindness that is the opposite of what you find with many contractors or their sales people. His bid was very reasonable and unlike some contractors we met with Glenn never needled us or pushed us to make our decision. He answered all our questions and was willing to go the extra mile when we had concerns about the would-be job. Just an all-around great guy. We came darn close to using Mountain Construction. Ultimately, however, we decided to go with another contractor we were more familiar with and I only hope we don't regret our decision. I'm terribly grateful for all the trouble Glenn went through and hope we can find another use for his services in the future.

I highly recommend Mountain Construction because of the personal attention they gave to my project. I found myself in the midst of a tremendous life change. I needed to sell my house and have a room addition built onto my mother?s home so I could care for her. Once I made the decision, Mountain Construction did a remarkable job of making what I had visualized a reality. Planning the over 500 square foot room addition was certainly a new and scary experience for me. This would be a large investment and the decisions to be made regarding the space would have to meet my needs and be acceptable to my aging mother. I must say, most importantly, Mountain Construction has a heart. Glenn Gruber was always so cognizant to my mother?s needs during construction. He made it possible for us to develop friendly relationships with excavators, carpenters, concrete workers, painters, electricians, heating and cooling workers, roofers and plumbers. With that, I learned that Mountain Construction calls upon the most qualified experts in their specific fields. As a retired school teacher, I make it a practice to be very calculating regarding expenditures and their effectiveness. Mountain Construction was flexible with financial arrangements and that was such a relief to me during a most difficult time in my life. Thank you, Mountain Construction, for my peace of mind.

This was a huge project for me, so I was determined to take my time in finding the right contractor. I got a total of 5 quotes. I found Mountain Construction on Angie's List and the ratings were good...so I took a chance and called. Glenn's bid was not the cheapest, nor was it the most expensive, but Glenn thoroughly explained his bidding process, his contact, etc., and he understood exactly what I wanted. He even made some wonderful suggestions and in the long run, I made the right choice with this company!!! The work went exactly as Glenn predicted. He worked right along with the crew on many days, and when he wasn't actually working at the house, he was always stopping by to oversee the project. He "upgraded" the egress window in the new bedroom/playroom, and in the new family room he built a beautiful shelf/armoire (with iron spindles to match the stair railing)...all at no additional cost. And he "threw in" extra shelves in the closet as well as a built-in toy box under the egress window ("so the little kids could get up high enough to get out the window in case of fire."). The new basement is not just "finished". It is just as Glenn said it would be...it is an "extension of the upper level". And it looks just beautiful! I highly recommend Glenn and his Mountain Construction gang! I've already had them do some other outside work for me and plan to do more this spring. They are honest and trustworthy and it has been a pleasure doing business with them.

The team started right on schedule and showed up and worked each day. The crews were polite and professional. Each day of the construction the owner showed up and worked as well along with his crews. Mountain Construction even went the "extra" mile to stay late and see to it the new exposed roof was shingled late on a Friday afternoon before an imminent storm heading into our area hit.

Glen was very professional and prompt in completing the work. We have used Glen for previous jobs and he has always completed excellent work on time. They removed carpet from the kitchen and installed the hardwood flooring including some new customized vents. We would recommend Glenn for jobs of all types and sizes.

Very professional to deal with. Made several follow up calls. I could not justify going with this company because they were so much higher than my other bids.

The railing on our front porch had become detached and was bowing out. Glen replaced the old railings with new better railings. The old railings had been poured in concrete and not actually attached to the stoop. Glen dug up the old concrete and reinforced the new railings with bolts, bolting it to the stoop. The new railings look so much better. We have had many compliments!!!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. Glenn and his team were great to work with and made us feel very comfortable while having our basement finished. They started the project and finished exactly when they said they would, which was amazing considering the project extended over Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years!!! We had several estimates and Mountain Construction was the most reasonable. We have been very pleased with the work we had done. We have extensive crown modeling throughout the upper floors and Glenn was able to duplicate it in the basement. Our new basement feels like an extension of the upstairs, not a basement that was finished after the fact. We felt very comfortable with Glenn's entire team, he made sure to introduce us to each person working on the basement, we have two small children and it was nice knowing the names and faces of everyone involved in the project. Glenn added several touchs of his own that we hadn't even thought of which made it even more special. Even after the project his follow up has been impeccable. We will definitely use him in the future and many of our neighbors are requesting his contact information.

The job was completed to our satisfaction. The bathroom was completed as requested. Extra care to detail included special wraps on the plumbing under the sink to protect from being hit by a wheelchair or person. The exterior work was completed as requested. He takes care of items that a specialty contractor probably would not. A concrete contractor could have done the concrete work. However, the sidewalk installed caused a downspout to need moving. This would not have been something a concrete contractor would have taken care of. We saw this and thought there was something we would have to take care of after the work was done. However, when we returned we found the downspout had been diverted already.

All workers were prompt and professional. Glen Gruber was very very professional and stayed on top of the job arriving on time each morning to ensure the project stay on track. Everybody went the extra mile to keep the dirt and dust to a minimum. The project started on time and was complete within the 8 week time frame as promised. We are very satisfied with the final product.

Job completed to our satisfaction. Estimate was clear. He considered some things we had not. Work was done when he said it would be. Kept us informed. Along way there were some changes due to information not know in the beginning. Water and sewer lines in ground were different than expected. Needed less work. Plumbing in existing building worse than expected and needed more replacing. Job site kept secure and clean during work. Glenn was always on time. He took care of all permits needed and worked well with the city.

This was a long distance project. We are based out of Denver and communicated with him through email throughout the entire project. He was very professional, punctual, and I would highly recommend him.
