Under the previous owners of our home, M & M had done roofing work after a storm. About 6 years after living in this house, we noticed a few spots on our ceiling and found the paper work that the other owners left us. We decided it made sense to contact M & M Roofing, since they had re-roofed the house. They came out, and we showed them the paper work. After examining our roof, it was determined that the flashings were the cause of trouble, which they repaired promptly and without charge. We were delightfully surprised! They believed the quality of the materials was below their standard and believed it only right to correct the problem. We were very pleased. They were polite, punctual and professional.

I would highly recommend them. They were fantasitc they do a good job. You get what you pay for. Wonderful warranty. We had them come out a year later for some roofing. It wasn't something they did wrong but they took care of it. The owners are very responsive and will make the problem right. Quality workmanship.

M & M did the work on time at the price they quoted. They were very professional.

See above note. They removed two layers, a shake shingle layer and an asphalt oneon top of it. They decked over the slats with SolarBoard then placed the chosen shingles and assorted barriers/edgings/etc. Mike not only worded with my insurance company, he worked with the County Code folks to make sure everything was done to their specifications. We could not be happier.

I have used M & M Roofing twice in the last 14 Years. Both times I found them to be honest, responsive and cost effective. In fact I never requested a bid from any other company that knocked on my door after the hail storm in March 2011. Their cost to remove old shingles and replace the whole roof was very competitive according to the insurance company who also said they would recommend M&M if their clients did not have a preference. The only company I would ever use and trust with my roofing. I recommend them without question.

I met Mark Stang and his boss at a neighbors house shortly after a large hail storm hit our neighborhood. We were getting bombarded with roofers coming to our door. We heard about M&M as Mark's brother works with a neighbor down the street. So we knew they were local and had a good reputation. We decided to have a 'town meeting' with about 5 households to ask Mark and his boss about the process of replacing roofs, dealing with insurance,etc... They met with us for over an hour and really explained the process so we understood it. There cost was reasonable and their quality of material was excellent. They were not going to hire more workers as they like to keep the crews they trust. We liked that about them. We finally settled on a contract While waiting to get the roof put on, we had a leak one day. Mark came over the next day and patched the roof and moved me up on the list to replace the roof. We've used M & M Roofing before to fix problems that were created by another company. They have always been very responsive and helpful. This time Matt came out, spent half an hour doing some fixes, and then didn't charge anything.

We chose M & M Roofing to replace our hail-damaged roof. They were very professional throughout the entire process. Everyone we dealt with was a joy to work with. The job was completed quickly and they were very thorough in cleaning up the mess afterward. We also used their services for a minor roof repair in 2007 and liked them very much then. We like that they are a local company, too. They even came by after the work was complete and brought us a "thank you" gift basket. We would definitely recommend them to our friends and neighbors. After we signed with M & M for the upcoming replacement, a neighbor mentioned that she works for a company which sells roofing materials and she further stated she was familiar with M & M and thought highly of them.

The price is still being negotiated but it's going to be around $10,000. They were prompt and efficient. They told me upfront what my choices were and their warranties. They start a little early but they work during daylight. They were all right; they were good. I would definitely hire them again.

I was very happy with their work. I have a very old house and they had to come in many times to fix it. But hey fixed it very well and I was very impressed with their work. They really knew their stuff and their customer service was good. I would rate them high overall. I would use them again in the future if needed.

They do a great job in the area. They have done our whole neighborhood practically. We spent $8000 on that service. The service they did was great. We would give them the best grade available. They were the least expensive to do the best job.

I called M&M Roofing on 4/21/2011 to get an estimate for replacing my roof which had been damaged by hail. I was told to send an email with my address and measurements from the insurance company and they would get back to me. Mike called the next day to ask for some additional measurements. When I said I was asking for an estimate from several contractors, he indicated he did not want to bid on my project. He said they had plenty of previous customers that were requesting repair work and he was not going to spend time creating an estimate unless I was going to select them for the project. I realize that many homes were damaged by the storm and they have plenty of options to pick and choose their business right now. However, they could have informed me they didn't want any new customers when I called the first time rather than waste my time sending them information with the understanding they would be bidding my project.

Great. It only took a half hour to seal all vents on the roof and terminate all leaks. I need them again due to the hail we had and will be calling them tommorow to come out for an estimate.

The price they quoted me was $10500. They sales guy was very good and I really enjoyed him and he had a good education. They did a good job on the sales part and it was just that they were expensive.

I called and left a message that I had a leak in my roof around my chimney. I got a call back that same afternoon and the next day Matt came out and took a look at the problem and gave me an estimate. He also recommended I talk to a chimney company and that they work in tandem to fix my problem. I called a chimney company and got an estimate from them as well. Then Matt took over and coordinated his teams work with the chimney teams work. They got everything done quickly and efficiently. M&M Roofing was great, and Matt was very professional and a big help to me in making sure everything was fixed right. I would definitely recommend them!

We shopped the market extensively, and chose M&M for a number of reasons: Price, responsiveness during the negotiation, professionalism, examples of their prior work around town, and recommendations from neighbors. The actual work was begun and completed when promised, workmanship was outstanding, and cleanup was perfect. Overall, an outstanding Company which, we believe, will stand behind its work. Recommended without reservation!

I went with M&M due to the thoroughness of their quote. Mark described everything that they would do and how they would do it, even down to the number of nails per shingle and dog-earring at the valleys. He was prompt with everything and did the best job at following up during the decision-making process. They weren't the cheapest bid, but in the end, I felt most comfortable with the job that they would do (of the 5 quotes I received). Once they started, they were prompt each day and put in full days till they were finished. It hasn't rained yet, so I am hopeful we won't see any leaks. :-) In any event, I feel confident in their work and their commitment to follow-up.

I had narrowed my search down to Century Roofing and M&M Roofing. I chose M&M Roofing based on one particular home I walked past almost daily. I was impressed with their roof and so asked them who installed it on and they referred me to M&M. Our sales rep, Mark Stang, is knowledgeable and possess very good salesman qualities. Before the start of our project, I saw the type and color of roof we had chosen installed on another home and thought the color looked horrible! I asked Mark to take a look at the other home to be sure it was the same roof we were purchasing. Mark actually stopped by home and drove passed the house with me. Although it was the same roof and color, it clashed with the color of the house it was installed on and we both concluded it would be a better match on my house. Now that's good salesmanship! (And, yes, the color looks great on my house.) During the installation I was disappointed that the crew was not supervised, there was someone who hung out around or in the worker's car during some of the days, they pitched roofing material into my water fountain base which they later told their boss a different story about how the material got there, and they did seem to leave the job site for a couple of hours every afternoon and I would not know if they were returning or not. To the installation crews credit they did work through some very hot weather and they did not dump too much debris into our attic, as mentioned in a previous posting. They also installed some flashing in some creative ways to keep the birds out of the attic. After installation there were some heavy rains and we only found one leak due to a vent cover not being mounted correctly. They fixed that promptly. HOWEVER, when I looked at the edges of my roof it looked as if they had taken an X-Acto knife and free-handed a cut. My roof lines were very crooked! Also, the creative ways the roofers installed flashing left brown flashing showing on parts of the trim that should have been white or yellow. My roof did not look as professional or well done as the house that I had gotten the referral from, and my faith in the quality of the install was lessened. I called and asked our sales rep to stop by and take a look when he was in the area again. I waited a couple of months for them to come out and inspect/repair, but eventually had to email the owners. The owners approved for "starter strips" to be put on my edges in order to get a straight line. I am not sure why something as simple as this was not automatically installed or offered as an option. I think M&M Roofing may now include starter strips on all jobs, but be sure to ask. M&M also painted most of the brown flashing to match the area it was installed on, hence it blends in much better now. Because of the importance of a good roof and good ventilation, I did quite a bit of research and looking before I chose my contractor. M&M Roofing had the right answers, I saw their work and was pleased with what I saw, and their references were wonderful. Unfortunately, my job did not quite match what I had heard and seen. On the flip side, when dealing with a roofing company, follow up after the job is very important to me. In this area they performed as I had heard they would and I am pleased with the end results.

M&M made this so easy for me -- they came out promptly and checked out the roof, left an estimate and also called to talk over. They let me know it might be 3-4 weeks before they got to it (which was fine). However, within the week they had an opening and called to arrange to come out. They completed the work and left me a bill. Couldn't have been more pleased.

I called & had it replaced by the next morning (October)
