Estimate was provided by company representative, Mark Stang. Mr. Stang climbed onto the roof, took pictures of potential problem areas, including those which did not relate to roofing problems. He showed me the pictures, explained what he thought might be the problem and gave the estimate. He also volunteered information about how much longer I might expect our wood shingled roof to last and even told me how to get rid of the stains on our "popcorn" ceiling without repainting. The estimate was one-third of the next lowest estimate (estimate was made from the ground) and way below a $2000 estimate that we had received from a third (very well known) company. I did have to call twice to schedule the work, but after the second call, I returned home to a phone message that the work was scheduled for that morning. I checked, and the work had been completed. We have had several strong storms since then with no sign of further leaks. Cost of repairs was same as the estimate. I am extremely pleased.

We had a great experience. Mark Stang was our company representative and worked with us and the insurance company to get the job scheduled and moving. Mark even came out after the job was done and spent significant time replacing some wood siding shingles that had become water-logged and rotted due to the old roof, which was not his responsibility. The company also offers a lifetime warranty for their work. We researched the top companies on Angie's List and met with representatives of several of them, and M&M was the best company by far.

Matt was wonderful. Matt was the best contractor I've ever worked with. He went above and beyond the call of duty. He was just amazing!

Excellent service! Craig returned our initial phone call the same day we called. He was available to come out the following day to provide an estimate. While on the roof, he took pictures using his digital camera to show us reasons for the leak. Craig was professional, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions. Easy to work with and felt comfortable having him in our home. Made recommendations for service needed presently and where we could be headed in the future. Will definitely use this company again, if needed!

I called because of a couple of leaks on my 13 year old house. Craig arrived later the same day to give me an estimate. He inspected the roof and looked at the locations of ceiling stains inside the house to determine the causes of the leaks. He also noticed exposed felt paper on the roof due to some split, broken, or missing wood shake shingles. He gave me an estimate on the spot, and offered to split the estimate between the immediate roof fixes and the roof maintenance. I believed the price was very fair for both the roof fixes and the roof maintenance, so I agreed to have the services performed. Craig called two business days later to say his crew was available the next day. The next day, the team finished the job while I was at work, which was very convenient for me. After I returned home from work, Craig performed a final inspection of the work, which resulted in some additional sealing, which he performed at that time.

The weather had been bad, so after a couple of weeks when it cleared up, I called to check if they had me scheduled soon and left a message. The next day I received a call back saying that they were able to go do it the previous evening and left the bill in the door for $160.

Craig and Matt from M&M Roofing were very prompt and courteous in responding to our phone call about our leaking roof. In fact, they are so honest that they correctly assessed that one of our leaks was a result of a leaf build-up in one of the valleys in our roof. They did not charge me anything for clearing the leaves and they also did not charge me for recaulking around a skylight. About a year ago Craig did some caulking around the same skylight and when it started leaking again recently, he came back and redid the work after acknowledging he had missed a spot. Again, he did not charge us for this work. What is even more impressive is that all of the original work he did only cost us $150 when numerous other roofing companies (all from Angie's List) gave us only the more expensive options. Craig also gave us the expensive options but also the moderate and least expensive options. M&M Roofing deserves to go straight to the top of the rankings for roof repair.

Things went very well overall. Mark gave us their bid and came out and explained all parts of the bid to us. He was the only one that mentioned that the manufacturer had a minimum number of vents required for the manufacturer to honor the warranty. M & M installs that number and adds one. Some of the other bids were for half the number of vents which may have voided any warranty. The work crew arrived on time and worked until dark to get the job done in a little over a day. They forgot to tell us that all the pounding would cause our glassware to "walk" across the shelves and break. M&M paid us replacement cost plus some for the inconvenience. We were quite pleased with how they resolved this problem. After the work was done, some one came out to inspect the work. Everyone was very knowledgeable and professional. We are quite pleased with the roof.

Our roof has leaked behind the chimney wall since we moved into our 3-year old house in April 2007. We learned that it has leaked since it was built, but no one disclosed that when we bought the house. Needless to say, this problem has consumed a lot of time and money. We have had almost $3000 in repairs and preventive maintenance done to the roof and chimney, yet it still leaks. Our master bedroom has almost $3000 damage to the drywall and wood floor, and we can't fix it until we stop the leak. Craig believes he located the general area where the water may be getting in, and he caulked it and took a picture of the area. This is such a tricky leak, and he believes (as we do) that the architectural style of the roof isn't helping any. We have steep pitches of roof running down toward the chimney. He gave us what we thought was a fair quote to replace the whole roof area on that side, in the event the caulking doesn't do the trick. I was very impressed with his professionalism.

When they came to give us an estimate, the presentation was very well prepared! Beside the most common information provided, a general synopsis of the particular products used and why, they came with 15 references from other customers (we did not need to ask - they were prepared), their insurance company with phone number and licensing info with phone numbers to confirm. After getting several other estimates, M & M Roofing stood out. The old roof was removed with new felt paper, additional vents installed, and shingles of the quality requested. We were given several price options but not pressured to buy the most expensive. They did an great job of clean up. Payment was made the day the job was finished and full payment was not requested until the roof was inspected by management and we were happy. We can not highly recommend M&M Roofing.

It went very well. Craig Meyer came to my house to give an estimate. When he found the repair was simple he quoted me their minimum fee of $100 and said he could do the repair while he was at the house. He was very courteous and showed service to the customer was priority. He made the repairs, took before and after pictures so I could see exactly what was done. That impressed me since I was not getting up on the roof with him he let me know with pictures just what was repaired. He was gone within about 45 minutes and I was happy with the repair. My roof is no longer leaking.

I was impressed from the start with the quality materials, attention to detail, and especially the labor warranty (given the quality issues we had with our builder). I received several quotes and discovered the difference immediately - for example M&M quoted 9 vents for ventilation (very important). My existing roof only had 4 and most other companies quoted 4. When I contacted one of the other companies, they asked how many vents I wanted - they would put them in. M&M used quality materials and ensured I received value for my money. The supervisors and managers came by many times to check the work. On the last day, they had the team replace a small area that did not meet their high standards. It took 2 and 1/2 days to complete the work (the team worked 2 days until dark). They cleared my property of debris and nails afterward. I highly recommend this company for any roofing work required and would definitely hire them again. A great company to work with.

We are extremely happy with the work. Our roof was in very bad condition and Mike rearranged his crews' schedules so they could replace our roof before the next rain storm. We received the estimate on Monday and they began work Friday of the same week. They worked with us through several logistical issues and were so flexible and professional. The crew really came to ready to work. The day was hot but they never slowed their pace. Mike estimated the job would take a day and a half but was completed in a day and the estimate was right on the money. The job didn't require use of all the supplies and we were credited that amount back. Both Mikes were visible and came by the house to check on progress and our satisfaction. We highly recommend this roofing company.

It was a very good experience dealing with M & M roofing. They were courteous and efficient. The maintenance work went well without any problems. We are still waiting for some good rain to test.

Upon inspection after the work was completed, I found that someone had urinated in the corner where the fence meets the house! I called Craig and he said he would be by as soon as he could. By the time he arrived, he had already questioned the crew and the guilty party had confessed. He said the crew member was supposed to have earned a $100 bonus for this job but he wouldn't be receiving it now. Said there was no excuse and he apologized. One of the owners, Mike Jensen, stopped by to apologize, too. I asked him about what to do for the smell and he went to the hardware store to get some lime to cover the spot. He said the $100 bonus would be given to me for all the trouble. I can tell you that M&M did not take this lightly. When I first spoke with Mike over the phone, I could tell from his voice that he was very upset with what had happened. M&M?s quick response, ?no excuse? attitude, and ?what can we do to fix this? willingness, made the situation bearable. I would hire them again.

I called a Tuesday morning and received a call back that afternoon. Craig said he would come by the next afternoon and see if he could find the source of the leak in my master bathroom. He got up on the roof and found a cracked boot on a vent pipe and repaired it at that time. I loved the great service and the fact that my call was returned quickly, and that Craig came by when he said he would to find the problem.

I have never had a more pleasant experience with a roofing company than M & M Roofing. I am recommending Mike, his company and crew to everyone I know. Not only are they kind and hard working, but also sticklers for detail and bent over backwards to make certain I was pleased with my new roofs. We've had several roofs installed in the Kansas City area, and the roofs that M & M put on are without question the best roofs my home and outbuildings have ever seen. No construction job is without hassles and inconveniences, but M & M's crew worked lightning fast, addressed any/every concern I had and were very tidy; we've not had one flat tire, which is a first, for us, after a roofing job. M & M Roofing will be the only roofing company I ever use. Too, Mike got our roofs replaced in the blink of an eye, as dictated by our insurance company's deadline.

The work was done in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. They cleaned up every evening before they left and there was no mess when they were finished. I had the opportunity to meet both Mike and Mike and they were both polite, knowledgeable and not pushy. I would have no problem referring them to anyone.

They took several days to answer my original voice mail inquiry. Mark showed up, inspected the area and gave me a written estimate. He said they should be able fit me in the coming week. They called Monday AM and said they had a cancellation and would be able to come right over. The job was finished that day including cleanup. Mike was here the next morning to pick up any leftover trash and to make sure that I was satisfied before payment was made. I would use in the future.

Mark was prompt returning my call for an estimate. We found the estimate comparable to others, but liked his selection of shingles best. We chose a more expensive shingle, which increased the estimate by $2,000. Once we accepted the proposal, it took about two months to complete. They were already booked about a month in advance and we had picked out special-order shingles. We had a hard time getting him to commit to a start date, but overall, he did a fantastic job. About two weeks after completion, he stopped by to check on the roof after a heavy rain. We are extremely satisfied with the new roof!

Craig Meyer came out twice to go over the proposal, and answered all our questions. The crew was polite, careful and on time. The new roof looks great.

You won't believe this! Craig from M&M Roofing returned our call over the holidays just to let us know they were out of the office that week. He scheduled an appointment and even called on that day to ask if he could arrive early. Some flashing around a vent pipe on our roof had come up. He repaired it, caulked it, and then checked all the others without being asked. HE CHARGED US NOTHING!! Just said to keep M&M roofing in mind for any future work/repairs. We were thrilled! Yes, the work was an easy fix and did not take long to repair, but to not even have charged a fee for coming out is unheard of! THANK YOU SO MUCH! We are recommending you to EVERYONE we know!

Mike Brooks provided a complete, written quote and explained it throughly. He also provided a rough estimate of repair only. When we scheduled the work, they promised to start within 6 weeks, explaining that they may be able to work us in sooner. They actually started in four. They did a good job on the roof and cleaned up throughly. No roof problems so far.
