Description of Work: Signed contract to provide services with Chip Kraft, had him attend meetings with our architect to ensure we were staying within our budget. Once the plans were complete with the architect, we had Chip bid the plans and his bid came in 3 1/2 times our budget. He provided no guidance during our plan development phase to keep us with our budget. We reworked and reworked the plans to bring the cost down...finally we ended up spending $16K on an architect, $5000 on Chip's service and decided to go with another contractor that could provide value. Not a good experience.

+ -1 moreMr. Kraft was the most honest and fair man I have ever dealt with. He was straightforward, kind, punctual and very polite. He actually took time to explain more cost efficient measures and how to save me money. The work he did is of high quality and for all of these reasons, I highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Mr. Kraft replaced the rotting supports underneath my carport and recased a window for me.
