It went great! I spoke with Glen Golden, the owner, when I called; and we determined what equipment I would need, what the price would be for the equipment and installation, and what my monthly fee would be for monitoring. I liked the professionalism of Mr. Golden; the price seemed fair, and we set up an installation date and time. The installer was actually a few minutes early, and I was very impressed with his knowledge, courtesy, and professionalism.

Excellent! I've been using them for about five years. The service is always good. I have never had any issues with them at all. They've always done what they said they are going to do.

I contacted Kansas City Security System by phone and explained that we had an older system that had not been functional for 10+ years, and we wanted it updated/replaced. The office manager took good notes and advised me that I would receive a call back. Within just a few minutes I was contacted by Glenn Glenn. He asked pertinent questions to understand what I needed, was quick to adjust his offer based on our needs. Very professional follow-up while we got additional quotes. When we contacted to schedule the service they gave us a 1 or 2 hour window when the technician would be there. Arrived on time, very professional and completed the task quickly, tested system, answered our questions and helped ensure we understood operation before he left. Glenn has followed up following the installation to ensure we were satisfied. The cost was for extra sensors beyond their standard package.

The whole thing went fine. Glenn Golden called me back and reviewed available options with me. His installer showed up on time and completed all the work in a timely manner. I've used this company before and will continue to use them in the future. They are very knowledgeable and responsive.

After our house was broken in to, we decided it might be a good idea to have the alarm system turned on (we were new to Kansas and failed to see a need when we first arrived from the LA area). After shopping around and checking Angie's List we decided on KC Secutity Systems. The technician came out on time and had the system running and tested quickly. It was a bit of a challange since we were having some work done on the house at the same time. He then reviewed the operation of the system and made a few programming changes as requested. He did a complete job. The monitoring company they use, Guardian Protection Services, have provided excellent service also. They noticed we weren't consistantly turning the alarm on and called to ask if we were having any problems or had any questions.

After reading reviews on Angie's List I called Kansas City Security Systems. Although I called right at 5:00 p.m., the owner (Glenn) answered and spent 30 minutes answering my questions. The technician that performed the installation was kind, professional, and prompt.

I had a great experience with this company. Glenn, the owner was especially nice and helpful and was very willing to give me the best deal possible. He was very responsive and organized and remembered every detail of our conversations. I felt like I was getting the 1-1 attention you never get from a large company. We switched from ADT and we are so glad we did. The installer (can't remember his name) was great. He took the time to explain everything and test everything to make sure I understood how to operate the system and we ran into a bit of a snag with our pool door alarm but he worked very h****** it and tried to come up with the best alternative solution.

Kansas City Security has the WORST customer service in Kansas City. Their representative (Mike) is RUDE, degrading and provides the worst customer service ever! They say things that are unprofessional and inappropriate. They even addressed my marital status and talked about personal things and tried to BULLY me into submitting to their outragious demands. They got angry when confronted about it and refused to speak to me. Their business ethics are the worst and their customer service rates an F- in Kansas City.

I called Kansas City Security Systems and spoke to Glenn. He was out at my house within 30 minutes and fixed the problem even though this was system he had not a originally installed. He solved the issue for a very reasonable fee. If I install a new system I will definitely call Kansas City Security Systems.

We met with Glenn and he walked us through what we needed to do to upgrade the security. He also explained all options available to us thoroughly. About 3 days later we scheduled the installation and his tech that came out was very efficient and considerate of my two young children. Once the system was installed and tested we went on vacation knowing that our house was in safe hands. Unfortunately we had a few false alarms and after calling Glenn he took care of it and once we returned the initial problems were solved within 24 hours of our return. Glenn has been very personable, knowledgeable and patient during this process and I cannot recommend him highly enough for his and his teams service.

I just got a flyer in the mail and called for further explanation and cost. I have not had the work done at this time.

Glenn gave me a complete list of what would be included in the alarm installation including parts and labor. He gave me a better deal than I woild have got by calling the number on the corporate coupon I had (the ones you get in ValPak, online etc). The installer was prompt, curtious and knowledgeable. He had everything installed and up and running, including cleaning up after himself, in less than two hours. Before he left he gave us a tour and explanation of what he did and walked us through a turorial on the use of the system. I am very impressed with the courtesy and professionalism of Kansas City Security Systems and would have no hesitation in recomending them to anyone.

I give them an A rating and I will continue to use them in the future.

After much research and pricing, we not only contracted with Glenn Golden's ADT company over 3 years ago for my own home, but also when my parents needed a security system last year. Then, this past month when assisting my brother purchase his home, we called Kansas City Security Systems to install there too! All three of these experiences, though I'm officially reporting on this latest one, have been seamless start to finish! This company provides excellent value over its competitors with added features and a very competitive monthly fee (which is actually then billed by ADT). My brother wanted additional motion detectors and a second keypad (that were above & beyond the generous ones included in the installation / wireless line cost) and these pieces were affordable. Glenn is kind, patient, and truly cares to give his customers the right fit for their needs. He's not a pushy salesman whatsoever, and he puts all quotes in writing. Beyond pricing, Kansas City Security Systems employees are timely, professional and considerate of our homes (no mess). As an aside, a couple of times we and our folks wanted our systems maintenanced and we received the same quality level of service from Kansas City Security Systems. Thrice pleased!

KC Security did an excellent job. Technician was very nice and helpful. My ADT system they installed is exactly what I wanted!!

HE'S GIVEN ME THE RUN AROUND.

THEY WERE PROMPT, FRIENDLY, TOOK TIME TO THOROUGHLY ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS. WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH A SECOND KEY PAD A COUPLE WEEKS LATER, AND THEY WERE ABLE TO TALK ME THROUGH THE STEPS TO FIX IT OVER THE PHONE QUICKLY. I'VE BEEN VERY SATISFIED WITH THEIR RESPONSE.

MY HOME ALARM KEPT GOING OFF AND THEY COULDN'T SEEM TO FIND THE PROBLEM. I FINALLY GAVE UP ON THE SERVICE. IT WAS JUST TO FRUSTRATING.
