Description of Work: They came out to measured my front door upon request. The door arrived a week after promised and it was the wrong size. It is too big. The contractor we hired had completely removed the original door before learning that the new door was too big. He had to put the old door back in place while we contact KC Building Supply. They refused us a refund or credit. They refused to eat the cost to build another door. I'm standing here looking at a hole in the front of my house because the old door is no longer flush. I have a useless door in my garage and a company with no give. I feel helpless. I don't want to spend that kind of money again. I don't want to cut the 2x4s surrounding my front door and compromise the weight above the door to force in a bigger door from their measurements.

Description of Work: we ordered new windows for a new house we are building the salesman came out to my job site to get order signed was in a hurry he said do to time of year that the window factory would be closing for holidays rushed through order and had me sign it. The next morning my wife called our salesmen with some guestions he rushed her off the phone said he had customers waiting. When we were ready for windows i clled him he sent the windows out when they arrived they were the wrong color.I called him and got his voice mail he later called me and said it was to bad because i had signed the order and the window company would not take them back because they were all special order windows. According to my builder and my new window salesmen the windows were all standard sizes and standard color. I set up a meeting with the saleman and his boss which went badly and i was told that i would have to pay for the window i refused and he turn it over to there attorney. I turned it over to my attorney and we finally agreed on a price. The only thing good to come out of this is i am going to donate the windows to a good cause. Beware

Description of Work: Looking for Granite and front doors... Don't waste your time with them!!!

Description of Work: We used this company for replacement front door and side lights and for a French door as replacement for a sliding door.

Description of Work: We bought 11 windows from Kansas City Building Supply. We ordered them in two different sections. We got the first section in the beginning of November and we got the second section in the beginning of December.

Description of Work: They estimated and "built" a front door and sidelight for our house. The door was manufactured incorrectly, it was missing parts such as a security jamb,that were ordered and paid for. In addition it was built about 1 inch too short. Mind you, they took the measurements to insure accuracy. For some reason unknown to us they cut the door down shorter than a standard door. I don't know how they handle theses "opportunities" because they have never returned any phone calls or emails. A visit to the store was unsatisfactory since the salesman said he was "sorry" and the President hasn't returned any phone calls and wasn't in when we were there.

Description of Work: FURNISH ALL GAS FIREPLACE INSERTS IN THE UNITS.

Description of Work: WE PURCHASED WINDOWS AND A GAS FIREPLACE FROM THIS COMPANY FOR OUR NEW REMODEL. THE QUALITY OF THEIR PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT.
