From the beginning to the end, both Julie and Kevin were a pleasure to work with. Both displayed a very professional, yet personable approach to my project and budget. Installation was a very smooth process and they were very respectful of my home while inside. Although out of anyone's control, a manufacture mistake and delay was communicated immediately and handled professionally. I am extremely happy with the end result and personally thankful for the 2 new friendships of Julie and Kevin.

Very smoothly. Several weeks before installation, Julie came to measure and make suggestions for replacing the existing 28 year-old vertical blinds that had begun to fail---mechanically and structurally. After we chose a style and color, she made her measurements and went home. I got a bid by email within a day or two ( with some options). After choosing what we wanted, I sent in a 50% down payment. The blinds had to be custom ordered and it took several weeks for them to arrive. During this time Julie kept me updated by email or phone several times.When they finally arrived, she called to set up an installation date----four or five days later. The morning of the day they were due to arrive to install, I demounted all of the old units and took down the hardware so that they could do a fresh install. She and her husband arrived aorund 12:30 p.m. and left about 2:45 p.m. They were quiet, quick and very professional. They removed all of their packing materials and vacuumed all of the work areas. In addition,they worked to make more stable some other blinds that a previous vendor had installed that kept flopping around whenever a door was opened and a breeze blew in.They supplied the parts and the labor for this fix at no charge even though it took them about 20 minutes of their time.

Julie is delightful to work with. She explains the products very well and does not push you toward any particular window treatment. Plantation shutters are very expensive and I was hesitant to replace all of the window blinds on the first level of our home because of the cost. I thought maybe I should just replace the wood blinds that were broken with the shutters and save do the others later. I was concerned how this would look. Julie did not pressure me at all. In fact, she drove around the neighborhood making note of houses where the window treatments were different per room so I could drive by to see an example of what I was contemplating doing. She gave me as much time as I wanted to make my decision. I did end up choosing to replace all of the window blinds in the front two rooms. My order did not arrive on the time schedule we expected and Julie knew I was disappointed because I wanted them in place when I had a holiday party the first weekend in December. She called the company and got tracking numbers for the shipment and pushed the shippers to deliver it in time for the party. She worked really hard to get them installed before my party. She definitely went above and beyond to make me a happy customer. If you choose this company for your window blind/shutter treatments, you will not be sorry!

A friend needed to have a custom sized mini-blind repaired. The strings that hold it together and manipulate the slates had broken. The owner was FANTASTIC to work with - my friend can't say enough good things and plans to use her again in the future. The owner was incredibly responsive contacting her the same day she got the message. She picked up and dropped off the mini-blind at my friends office (though would have also gone to her home if needed). The repair work was perfect, blind now works beautifully and my friend avoided the expense of having to order a new custom blind.

I had a large, overwhelming project covering windows in the lower level and a good part of the main level of a new home we had purchased. Julie was EXCELLENT in every phase of working with me on this project. I'm quite certain she went over and above what anyone else would have done to make sure I had the best possible solution for covering every window. I have two sets of very large sliding glass doors in my hearth/breakfast area that were extremely tricky. Julie actually made arrangements to have custom cornices made to cover the roller shades we decided on. It was by far the best solution for the look I wanted to maintain in this area. Julie was also cost sensitive and gave me options from less to more expensive. I appreciated her sensitivity in that area. Julie and Kevin did a great job at the install phase as well, they were perfectionistic in the install as well as clean-up. I have had a couple of maintenance issues since purchasing the blinds & shades and Julie has been great about following up and making sure everything is operating perfectly. Again I appreciate the dedication to my project and would highly recommend Jul's Window Blinds and Shutters!

Jul's, as always, came with her husband and took off the shade, had it re-strung and re-hung and made sure it fit properly.I just can't recommend Jul's any higher. My family has all used Jul's because of her award-winning customer service and the perfection of her work. HIGHLY recommended!

Julie was attentive to what was wanted, was punctual on appointments, made good suggestions, was very reasonable. She kept my friend informed about shipment and she redid a sample color without any problems. She had a helpful book of windows she has done and sent emails of options that were not in her book. She was very pleasant and cleaned up after installation. The whole experience went very smoothly without a glitch. She does quality work and is very much a professional.

Julie and her husband measured all of our windows and brought samples of the shutters and roller shades for us to choose from. They were extremely professional and helpful and did a beautiful job of installing the shutters and shades. We did the order in two shifts as we originally thought we would only do part of the living room and kitchen in shutters and keep our 21/2" blinds we already had. But after installing the first order we were so happy with them that we told them to go ahead and order shutters for the rest of the windows too. We would definitely recommend Jul's Window Blinds and Shutters to our friends as we were very satisfied with their experitise and attention to detail.

This transaction went perfectly. I called Julie and she was able to come out to our home with many different fabric samples and design ideas. She helped me make the right decision about shades for our family/theater room and for our master bedroom. Her communication was great, the ordering was easy, delivery came quickly, and the installation was perfect. Julie made sure our silk fabric roman blinds were steam-pressed with no wrinkles so they would fold perfectly. That extra attention to detail impressed me.
