Excellent in every regard

We were looking for a lawn service and solicited bids from three companies. Hunt's provided the best value.

Wonderful. We normally mow our own yard but were in a bind because our lawn tractor has been in the shop longer than anticipated. I called several mowing companies and most didn't return my call or if they did they could not get me on their schedule soon. We had a lot of recent rains and my lawn was looking unkempt for sure. Jeff, the owner, returned my call same day. He personally visited my house and walked my land after completing a nearby job and gave me a quote. He even worked me in the very next morning. I really, really appreciated his responsiveness and willingness to work me in as I know he was probably really working his crews to keep up with his regular mowing customers. Not knowing when our tractor will be returned to us, Jeff offered to keep me on his schedule for next week just in case. I know I could have paid less than $175 to mow my yard, but as I am NOT one of Jeff's regular customers and was asking a LOT of him to work me into his already packed schedule I thought it was fair. Jeff's crew didn't know my land (slopes, trees, etc.) and it is a big yard with trees, flower beds, etc. to work around. So, that is why I gave an 'A' on pricing, too. Even Jeff said if I was a regular customer he would work with me. The crew came as Jeff promised and did a great job! Such a relief to not have an eyesore of a lawn. Thank you guys!!! I plan to talk to Jeff about lawn treatments. Fair, responsive and upfront guy.

Jeff was able to send a crew out on short notice with cold weather approaching. They were in and out in an hour or so and did an immaculate job of yard cleanup, taking all of the debris with them. I've used them several times and they always do a great job.

I have been very pleased. Their schedule never waivered unless it rained. My yard looked great, and I'll be using them again in 2011 for everything. My weekly rate for mowing was $33.00 (I don't have a large yard). Because I used Hunt's weekly, the crew was actually able to keep up with the leaves in the fall. I live in Prairie Village, and I have lots of leaves! Jeff provides superior customer service. He is courteous, professional, returns phone calls immediately, and bills promptly every four weeks. This is a great company, and their services are reasonably priced. I highly recommend them!

It went great overall. They did the job exactly as expected, and I plan to use them again.

Jeff and his crew have provided regular mowing and lawn treatment for the last year and a half for my yard. They are very reliable and do quality work. The yard was very rough and unkempt when I bought the house -- Jeff's efforts have made a great difference and the yard has continued to improve over the time they have serviced it. Jeff is extremely customer-conscious and calls anytime there is even a hint of an issue. The amount I've listed is my average monthly statement.

I was satisfied with their work and with the price that they charged. It was hard to find anybody to do the job since it was a small area. I was pleased that they were willing to do the work and they did a good job. The land had felt really soft before the work was done, and most people had told me that it would be that way for a long time even after cutting out the roots and seeding the ground. It felt great when I walked on my lawn after that because I didn’t get that spongy feeling that was there before. I don’t know what they did but it was very good. They came when they were supposed to and showed professionalism in their work. I would probably use their services in the future.

They did a good job and we would use them again should the need arise.

They mow every week in warm weather. They will trim hedges and also do pre-emergent weed control.

Jeff and his crew did a great job. I have a lot of areas that need mulch in the spring - I've always done it myself until this year, so I know what a big job it is. My yard looked beautiful when this work was done earlier this year and it still looks beautiful!

Very accommodating and helpful.

I called for an estimate. Jeff Hunt told me he would come out in a couple of days to give me an estimate and call me back. He did come by within 2 days after I called, and followed up with me to give me an estimate. We had already decided to go with somebody else, and he was gracious about it. I was impressed with his follow through.

Cleaned all gutters and down spouts, and used a trash bag for collecting the leaves and a hose to make sure the down spouts were clear.

Jeff returned my phone message within 15 minutes and was very helpful and friendly. I was pleased with the work his crew performed.

MR. HUNT WAS VERY COURTEOUS. HIS CREW CAME OUT SOON AFTER I RECEIVED THE ESTIMATE AND THEY DID A FINE JOB.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB, CLEANED UP WELL AND DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO. THEY ALSO LOCKED THE GATES WHEN THEY LEFT SO MY DOGS WOULD NOT GET OUT.

REASONABLY PRICED AND POLITE.
