They are professional. I don?t need to call them back, as when they fix something it stays fixed. In the past, I have had some companies that I have used to get some plumbing work done. They said that they had fixed everything and the next day we saw that it was not being fixed properly. The crew from Bob Hamilton Plumbing put booties on before they come into the house. The equipments that they use are up to date and do the job. Some plumbers don?t have the proper equipment to get the job done, which I had experienced before. Once, I had a plumber come out when there was a pipe broken behind the tile in the tub. He had to take out the tile to make the repair. Later on, we had to hire someone else to do the tile work, as we had to remove all the tiles in the tub. I had to pay for the tile work, as it couldn?t match the original tile to replace all that tiles. The crew from Bob Hamilton Plumbing had a special metal plate that could fit over the area where they had done the work. It actually looked nice and they didn?t have to replace any tile, which saved us a lot of money. Another time we had a plumber come out to fix a frozen pipe. So, he chopped off the drywall and was trying to find out the freeze in the pipe. Howeve, the crew from Bob Hamilton Plumbing has a tool that they put up against the drywall and move it around so that it shows them as to where the frozen pipe is. That?s why they just cut a small area, so that the follow up cost is less. They do the work at our rentals also. The price that they charge is very expensive, but it?s worth it. We had to have them replace 3 toilets in our house which cost us a lot of money, but I wouldn?t trust anyone else. I am paying them for the quality of work that I get from them. I will use them again in the future.

Bob Hamilton is good, and provides good customer service. They are pricey. They are very nice and polite. They clean up after themselves.

Bob came out on a Sunday to do the work for me. He was very friendly and nice. He did a good job. He was responsive and punctual.

They're very prompt. They're pleasant and knowledgable. I think their prices are high, but then I think most plumbers prices are high.

The experience went pretty well. However, the only problem was that they had not registered themselves with the power and light company so; they can get some discount for their customers which they should have done being one of the leading heating and cooling company in the area.

They were able to come out the same day and were very friendly and professional.

When we were in communication with the company it was extremely difficult deal with them, and they did not refund any of the money to put the system back in the original condition that they found it in.

Plumber arrived in a timely manner and gave me an estimate on the service. I told him to go ahead, he performed the service and quoted me an amount that was double what was quoted in his estimate prior to beginning the work. I wondered why the cost was so much higher, but due to the fact he had several other customers to see and I was a bit frazzled by the whole thing, I paid the amount he quoted. I reviewed the paperwork the next morning and noted he'd charged me for two hours of work when it had actually been only 45 minutes of work. I called the office requesting clarification and was told I'd been charged double and that a refund of $448.00 was due me. I've placed three calls to follow up on the refund check and have not yet received it. Although I have received good service from this company in the past, this situation has me seriously questioning whether I will use this company in the future.

He is extremely overpriced, and I do not plan to use him again. The work was minor, and I feel that the prices were very high for the work done.

They started from nothing and added central air for me, including ducks and the conditioner itself. They cleaned up well and after they were done they even had a third party evaluation center call to follow up with the work.

I had been having problems with drainage in my kitchen sink backing up when using the disposal unit. I tried disconnecting the drain pipes under the sink and clearing them, but it became clear that the problem was farther down. I called the company on a Saturday morning and was told someone could come out that day and there would be no premium for Saturday service. The plumber came about noon. He determined that the drain pipe was extremely corroded from the inside and recommended replacing it. Also showed me that the disposal unit was rusty and not working correctly, and that the pipes under the sink had been hooked up incorrectly without proper venting. He gave me an estimate and went to work. He finished the work within the time estimate and exactly on the cost estimate. He was polite, clean, and informative. He showed me exactly what he did. I have used this company several times in the past and they are always good. I know that they are more expensive than others, but in my opinion it's worth it to know that the work is done correctly and that they will stand by it.

They were quick and efficient. I did that their prices were a little high.

An appointment for fall servicing with emphasis on erratic furnace behavior was made by telephone. Upon the date of the appointment we received a call from the shop asking if they could reschedule if our problem was not an emergency to give way to others with more critical needs. A reschedule was done, a day of work was taken awaiting their service technician. I telephoned the company regarding the arrival of the tech and was told that I was next on the list-arrival time in the afternoon, rather than in the morning as believed. When technician arrived I advised of the problem and told them that Power and Light was out to inspect their installation of the Optimizer (which I thought might be the initial problem)-they advised I had a bad circuit board in the furnace. Bob Hamilton's technician arrived and I advised of the info from Power & Light and he concurred with the diagnosis. The technician advised they would have to order the board and they could return the next day to install. A price was given of $639.00. No other choice but to accept as heat was needed. The arrived the next day, close to 6:00 pm to install. Installation was quick and efficient. Only problem I could see was the invoice only showed the total amount and no break out for labor vs. parts. Somehow my replacement of the circuit board appears to be higher than others I saw on this list for this company when I initially researched. It would have been interesting to see how much labor was charged for (was only there for 30 minutes) and how much the actual part was (considering a markup). I was going to have them change out and service my Aprilaire water filter, but it appears they were crowded for time.

It went badly. I had taken apart a shower handle with the help of the manufacturers help line, but they closed before I completed the task. There was a small amount of water dripping down inside the wall and I felt it not wise to allow that to continue overnight. My regular plumber was not immediately available and Bob Hamilton did not charge overtime until 7PM, so i called on them. The service man had two pieces left over when he was through, but I was appalled at the price of the 30 minute service call, $388.00. He also mis-set the auto temperature control and we had almost no hot water. He did return to correct that problem. I phoned Bob Hamilton, he never returned my call. I called the general manager. It took three calls from me to get a response. I complained about the price. He seemed to agree and offered to send my a rebate. After 30 days, I finally received a $25.00 coupon on a future service call. That was a cheap fix for them for I will never use their services again. I would suggest you don't either.

They also did some other plumbing, they put in a kitchen faucet. Ithought that they were terribly, terribly expenseive. But they were pretty good other than that.

I purchased a service agreement for plumbing and cooling service in April 2008. I first had the company upgrade a functional toilet to a high end toilet. They did a good job with it. They serviced one of two air conditioning units stating they could not get to the second a/c in the attic. July 20, the line clog and it caused an overflow of water leaking in to my dining room and bedroom. They came out and were able to service the unit and did not charge me for the visit. I feel they are responsible for the damage. If the maintenance would have been done it would not have happened. The company has stated they are not responsible and will not make amends. I am filing a BBB dispute also and would not recommend them. I will also file a small claims case if not resolved.

They were very good! They were very efficient and speedy and we were very happy with the results and I would use them again and recommend them to others.

They do a very good job in a timely manner. They don't try to rip us off or over charge us. They do good work but, are sometimes hard to reach by phone.

The serviceman, Jeff Needham, sent out on my call was terrific. I had explained, when I called in, that my furnace was not working and unfortunately the night before was 28 degrees. Brrrr! "Tiffany", whom answered the phone was friendly, helpful, and prompt. She dispatched Jeff and he arrived within an hour of my call. I was thankful and impressed. Jeff was both friendly and professional and showed me where the problem was. He replaced the damaged board in a quick manner. He then described in detail their service program, which I don't always opt for in these situations, but I feel is a good plan. I did sign up for their plan and Jeff serviced the furnace which was long overdue. It was obvious Jeff is knowledgeable in his profession. I felt confident in his work and a peace of mind with this new service program. He represents his company well. Thank you Jeff, and Bob Hamilton Plumbing & A/C!

Prompt & professional but expensive. Expected the $39 diagnosis charge but when he offered to check the water pressure in the house I should have asked if that carried another charge (it did, another $50, so now $89 if you didn't want any work done). He didn't have the cheaper model of faucet he originally quoted. Nice work done right, including new water supply lines. But $500? And that's including $50 coupon I printed from the internet and discount for joining their service plan, otherwise would have been $650.
