Description of Work: Ring ring, "Excel" (said in a rapid annoyed sounding female voice) "hi, is this a stucco repair place?" ..... "We do stucco repair....yes. Is there something I can do for you?" (Said in the most unfriendly why would you ever call this number tone) "Well no, not if you're going to be that rude I'll call someone else." "Ok" (suddenly in a better mood now that she doesn't have to help a potential customer). Click. ..........seriously? I get that she s prob just a miserable person but doesn't it say something about the business when they let this person give the first impression? #NoWonder

+ -1 moreWithin three days of giving Excel Plastering our "go ahead", the crew arrived and began building the scaffolding needed to carry out the chimney repairs. The work went smoothly without any issues or problems until both chimney's had been repainted twice. Because we could still see color differences between our house paint and the newly repaired areas, we authorized 3 additional coats of paint and a $500 addition to our bill. The additional paint resolved the color difference issue and we are totally satisfied with the work they performed. Upon job completion Excel Plastering quickly dismantled and removed the scaffoling and all debris from the roof and adjacent yard area. The chimneys look great! If we ever need additional stucco repairs, we will certainly call them again. Note: Since we did not get competitive bids, we have no way of knowing whether their price was competive or above others. Because of this, we gave them the benefit of a doubt and an "A" price rating even though it cost us more than we expected.
Description of Work: For 2 chimneys: Provide and erect sufficient scaffolding to reach and repair both chimneys, a height of nearly 4 stories above the ground.Repair stucco at the base of both chimneys where flashings were replaced during the reroofing of our home.Remove chimney band details from the top and middle areas of both chimneys.Lath, plaster, texture, and entirely paint both chimneys above the roof line to match our existing house paint color.
