carpet cleaners
+ -1 moreOverall I got well-cleaned carpets in just a couple of hours. Extremely pleased with the results and will use Janet again. As far as Dos and Don'ts - nothing to report with regards to hiring Janet and EFG Clean. My personal preference when cleaning carpets is to always removed as much furniture as possible so you get a thorough cleaning. We had just moved all the furniture out of one bedroom into a newly finished room, in our bedroom I removed the night stands, chest and chair so that areas underneath were also cleaned.
Description of Work: EFG Clean is owned by Janet Switzer - she does all the work herself. EFG Clean stands for Eco-Friendly Green Clean. Janet uses a dry compound for rug cleaning which she may dampen in heavily soiled areas but there is not excess water or steam needed. When she was done - we could walk on the carpets! She worked the compound into our carpets three times, vacumming (with her own equipment) the compound up out of the carpet each time. Janet was easy to contact and schedule an appointment, she was prompt and got immediately to work. The cost to clean two bedrooms was $107. These are average sized rooms; one bedroom was completely empty of furniture and has a small walk-in closet she also cleaned and the other had a king size bed, dresser and wardrobe. Her pricing was right in line with what I would have paid a steam cleaning company plus I didn't have to worry the moisture or protecting the furniture in the room that had furniture. Janet was extremely conscientious about her work, pleasant to be around, and I was extremely comfortable having her in my home.
