Dick Ray Master Plumber Heating and Cooling

Description of Work: trouble with upstairs cooling. Also has seasonal check. They performed expensive, ineffective, useless duct work, cutting holes and patching. It was a mess. When I called the following season for help I was told they did not do heating and cooling. Told they were a plumbing company. Asked for the service person by name, told no one had ever worked there by that name. Asked for the owner and told he was in Mexico! Remedial work by another company was expensive! The service person's name was Zak.

Description of Work: Needed pad created under exterior central air conditioner unit to lift it well above ground. After heavy rains the unit would sometimes sit down in a pool of water. Zach was the serviceman who lifted the pad, filled the cavity with gravel, patio blocks, and made sure the drainage was improved. Problem solved.

Description of Work: Called Dick Ray to correct a problem from a recent bathroom remodeler who incorrectly seated the toilet onto the ceramic floor he had just installed. Toilet was emitting foul odor. I had phoned Dick Ray in the past for a different issue by a different contractor. And he had done a terrific job at that re-do, so, I decided to use him again. The job was performed perfectly, and the repair was done in quick time.

Description of Work: The great thing about this company is its owner/manager Dick Ray, who is very knoledgable and answers all questions with politeness and accuracy. He will advise you on the best solution to your problem, and give an assessment (with the information you have provided to him) over the phone. He always lets you know that problems may be encountered after the worker arrives, but, I always feel assured that there won't be a bait and switch. They are honorable and fair. The work is done professionally, and within a normal amount of time. Cleanup is done, and paperwork is completed. I had a hotwater heater removed, a new one installed, and tested.
