Arrived on time. Job was done as best as possible

He didn't show up for the meeting, so I called and asked him for the date/time. He didn't show up for the second appointment either. I called him again and he told me that he got lost. I asked why he didn't call and he stated that he left his cell phone at home so he had returned to his home. He stated that he would come out on Sunday, so I missed church to have him come out. He came out and let us know that he couldn't do all the work, and only did staining, and would not be able replace the boards.

We contacted Mike back in the middle of Sept., he came out and gave us a bid. We agreed to the work being done and he told us that he would call the first week of October. My husband called to follow up and he said he would be out the second week of October, because of some rain he had gotten behind. When mike called us on Oct 11th, he was very rude and told us that he had booked some other jobs and that he would not be able to get us in before winter. I really feel like we wasted three weeks waiting for him to come and stain our deck when we could have just gone with someone else. Mike was very unprofessional and I would not call him again in the future.

Mike Foreman is the owner. This was the second time I have used him. The price was reasonable and the job was well done. Stain and water seal lasts for 3 years!

Mike was very responsive, answered and returned calls the same day. He did a great job! The deck, which is 17 years old, looks brand new!!!

Mike was great to work with, he showed up when he said he would, performed service as described and the price was fair.

The Deck Doctor was the third of three estimates I received for staining my deck. The first estimate was $720, the second $640 and Mike (DD) came in at $340. I was amazed at how low a price he quoted so I thought there may be some catch. Mike uses high quality TWP stain and brushes/rolls the stain on rather than a quickie spray job. The initial proposal was early May but due to several weeks of rain, he didn't start the job until middle of June. He arrived on time and got straight to work without me even being home. He worked the better part of the day.....7am till 3pm. My deck has metal balusters and integrated led lighting so a lot of time had to be taken to meticulously stain around all the nooks. I'm very pleased with the outcome. Unfortunately, he stained himself into a corner, to an extent, and wasn't able to stain the side crack of one of the boards. He left me the left over stain so I could take care of this one strip. I didn't really mind since nobody can see it.

Mike came to do an estimate early in the week and we scheduled the work for Friday. He came, on time, Friday and carted all the furniture off the deck, and carefully power washed it. We agreed on Monday for staining so the deck would be completely dry. He arrived at 6:30 am (our agreed on time because of the heat in July 2012) and the finished the job that morning. I would not hesitate to recommend him again. He works alone, does not have employees and is a professional in his business.
