Description of Work: Mr. Shelar was extremely rude, demanding, and unresponsive. Closing date was pushed back multiple times due to him not getting information needed to the appropriate individuals. At a time in your life when things are stressful anyway (buying/selling a home), you don't need the additional stress of working with someone like this.

Description of Work: Dale Shelar is not just a real estate agent; he is much more than that. He gave us an unprecedented amount of attention and care when helping us find our home in Kansas City. I hold a real estate license for the state of Florida and have worked with numerous realtors and I have to say that Dale is the absolute best I have ever seen. We actually found him by dumb luck, a random search online gave us his number after having little success with visiting real estate offices in the area. He met us at a Starbucks where he got to know us a little better to find out what we were in the market for, put together a list for us in a matter of hours and gave us a grand tour of the city to find out what area we'd be most comfortable in. (Nothing the likes I have ever seen any agent before) In every house that we visited, he was able to point out the type and quality of work that was done, whether it was sturdy or poorly constructed, things for us to take notice of and how it might turn out years ahead down the road. He has a special type of passion for home construction (he owns multiple properties and is a perfectionist when it comes to doing contracting work himself). If you are looking for a real estate professional who will take good care of you and help you settle into a new home, or even if you're trying to sell one, you would be hard pressed to find a better professional than Dale Shelar.
