Cridder Ridder

The traps and bait were just set today so we have to wait and see if they are effective. The Cridder Ridder workmen who did the work were courteous, friendly and professional. They showed up on time and called to let us know they were on the way.

We had a bat that would hang out on our porch at night. I know they are helpful but I do not enjoy sweeping up after it every morning. My phone message was promptly returned. Suggestions were given over the phone. I appreciated that since those were free and that doesn’t happen much anymore. I did have him come out because I wanted him to check the attic, just to make sure there weren’t any up there. He came a couple days later, checked out the attic, and walked around the outside of the house to see if he could see anything. Nothing was found anywhere. It was worth it for the peace of mind. We leave the porch light on and the bat has moved on.

I called this company after the former company stood me up. I needed quick action since I was trying to sell my home. They came to the rescue and were perfectly on schedule. I was a little shocked over the price, but I also recognoze that bats are a specialty.

Well. No evidence of the critters so far.

Cridder Ridder was amazing. They helped us with a truly disgusting problem, and went above and beyond. They were willing to come out that night, despite a very full schedule, and spent a long time to ensure that the problem had been thoroughly solved. They were even willing to get creative to make sure the job was done correctly. On top of all of that, they were friendly, prompt, and easy to work with. I thought the price for the evening on-call service was more than reasonable, and I would use them again in a heartbeat (although, of course, I hope I don't have to!).

They came out and got the little guy and relocated him. They fixed the damage to the siding that he caused and pointed area other areas of concern that I may want to fix. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

They were very friendly and professional and took care of the problem,but felt they were over priced for what needed to be done!

Cridder Ridder was on time, efficient, and humane in removing the squirrels from our attic, very professional and easy to work with. Also it only took them an hour or two and they were finished.

They came and got the mole traps. Now we are through and hope to never see any again.

I noticed the odor of a dead animal in my basement but after searching could not locate it. I called a pest control company. The man came and searched and determined that the animal was on the other side of my foundation and the odor was coming through the cracks. He was very helpful but it was not work he did. The foul odor was getting worse. I found someone that I thought was coming the next day but there were complications and it looked like I might be living like that for a few more days. By this time the odor was just horrible. I called Cridder Ridder and Matt quoted me a price and said he could come that afternoon at 3 or possibly earlier if that was alright. It was. He arrived before 3. My deck is only about a foot off the ground so I knew it would have to be partially dismantled and told him I knew that it was old and that boards might break but I was prepared to risk it. (By that time I was so desperate I might have okayed a chainsaw to whack a hole in the middle of the deck!) He patiently pried up boards without breaking anything and then discovered it was not where we thought ,but was a lot deeper. He dug until he was able to reach it. Fortunately he has really long arms and a really long tool to snag it from the tunnel and was soon ringing my doorbell with a big smile on his face and a trash bag holding a dead possum in his hand. He put my deck back together and I was thankful the whole smelly ordeal was over. He was nice, prompt, knowledgeable, got the job done with a minimum of damage to my deck, and I would definitely recommend him.

We had 2 birds ( sparrows) in our fireplace. The chimney cap was broken that gave them access. We called Steve at Cridder Ridder and he was at our home in an hour. He was able to remove the birds but his ladder could not reach our tall chimney. He helped us find a chimney repair company. We would definitely call Steve again!

This was a squirrel nest about 25' up in the eaves of our house. There wasn't much room to work because of the in-ground pool. He got the job done. I scared me but he was fearless!

We caught a raccoon on the second day. The traps are still in place.

Everything turned out well. He responded quickly, did a thorough inspection, and charged a reasonable price. Fortunately, he found no signs that a squirrel had infiltrated the house.

The inspector was here about 45 minutes and looked both inside and outside and was very profesional. He came across as really trying to solve the problem and not trying to sell us what we didn't need. It was obvious that he had been doing this a long time and had a lot of knowledge. We were very satisfied with the service he provided and the way he went about it.

I called Steve because something fell into my flue. The poor creature was stuck just above the damper in my fireplace. I have had a squirrel fall in before and thought that was most likely what happened this time also. Steve was VERY rude. He informed me and quot;First of all, squirrels don't fall, so it's a birdand quot; Well, I have had a squirrel fall in before so squirrels do in fact fall. He told me me to open the damper and let whatever was in there out. That it would find it's way outside. Now, isn't it his business to remove a critter to the outside?? I have three cats who would LOVE for me to let out whatever is in there... And with temps reaching into the upper 90's today, I don't want to open all the doors and hope that whatever is in there and quot;will find it's way outsideand quot; , along with my house cats and AC. I called another company... they came out right away and guess what? A SQUIRREL! I do not like being treated as if I am an idiot. Very, VERY rude and condescending. I won't be calling them ever...

I suspected I had squirrels in my attic and called Steve. He responded in less than 2 hours and immediately identified where and how the squirrels were accessing it. He set up traps, etc. and, 6 dead squirrels later, the problem was solved. I have no idea how his pricing faired with his competition as he was the only one I called. I have no regrets.

I noticed an animal had burrowed under my front porch. I called Cridder Ridder and Steve came out that same day and set a couple of traps; within 48 hours a raccoon was in one of the traps. I called Steve and he came out that same day and removed the trapped raccoon. He reset the traps for a few more days to make sure there weren't any more. A few days later he came and picked up the traps and left a bill. This was the second time I've used Steve and he was great both times. His rates have gone up a little but it was well worth the cost to have the animal removed. He also suggested ways to block the porch to prevent future animals from moving in.

Called Steve at 10am, came to house by 10:30. Gave me his card on arrival to my home. I showed Steve where the birds were entering my home under the eves on the second floor. He climbed up and patched the hole with metal flashing using caulking to seal it up. I am pleased with the service and would call Cridder Ridder again.

The man came out quickly and seemed to know a lot about bats. He suggested waiting a few weeks to remove the bats, thinking that all the scratching we were hearing was coming from baby bats. Waiting would allow the babies time to mature and fly out of the house on their own. He came back later and set up the tarp without us needing to be home or have an appointment. The bats flew out through the tarp and then could not get back into our house. He also came back to remove the tarp without an appointment. He just took care of the problem without interrupting our schedules. We got a bill in the mail after the service was performed. We haven't heard any more noises - so we assume the bats are gone. The only bad thing was that it would have cost us over $100 just for him to come and tell us what the problem was. We ended up using this company because we didn't want to waste that money. So there wasn't a free estimate in this case. That seemed a little high for an estimate, but he applied that charge towards to the total bill. Overall we are happy with the service.

The job was absolutely terrific. They were very responsive and returned calls. They took care of the problem. They set the traps, and when we caught one, I called them, and they were very quick to come and reset the trap. The quality was topnotch. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

It went really well. He was very punctual. He didn't try to promise too much. I felt like he was realistic in what he was offering.
