+ 1 moreNot well. Hired them because we wanted them to manage the project. They have no employees that did the work, they used contractors and no project manager coordinated their work. The two people that did tear out of the old back splash and the work on the new sheet rock was so bad the tile guy wanted to know who did this and did I have some sheet rock to fix there mistakes. I Would never recommend them for any job.

+ -1 moreClassic Floor was horrible from beginning to end. Started project late. Took forever to complete the project. Floor somehow got damaged by either Classic or the company moving a treadmill. Either way, Classic charged me $350 to fix the scratch. They put putty in and touched up. Not good, so I had to complain to get them to sand and touch up properly for my $350. Took them nearly a month to finish the floor (yes just a kitchen/half bath) and then sent me a bill with a highlighted note about payment due on completion with a completion date listed that was before they even started the project....like I was a slow pay. They also tried to charge me $125 for moving the toilet which they did not do. Horrible experience. Would never recommend or use again.

+ 0 moreProject went well. Workers communicated with us and the design center when questions or issues outside the original scope of the bid arose. Workers were punctual, careful and very efficient.
Description of Work: Removed carpet in lower level, leveled floor and laid luxury vinyl plank. Also recarpeted stairs with high traffic carpet and updated stair spindles and stair tread end caps.

+ 1 moreI would never use this company again. We dealt with Huston, one of the owners and the quality of their work is very poor. We had wood floors installed and old floors sanded and stained to match. At the completion of the project, there were huge chunks of wood that had splintered off when the floors were sanded down. In addition, the grain of the wood raised causing them to be rough. The company only addressed the problem when we brought it to their attention. Their, very slow, response was to fill the holes, in the boards, with a putty that didn't even harden. After many complaints, they finally replaced some of the boards (not all of them). However, when they did this, they put in short boards and the stain never matched the rest of the floor. They never addressed the issue of the roughness. We are now hiring another company to redo the entire project.
Description of Work: The provider installed new wood floors, sanded and stained old wood floors to match the new one.

+ 1 moreI would never use them again. They promised to fix all their mistakes but they never came back to do it once I paid them. The got stain all over the trim and never put the corner round back around the room as promised. They were always late or wouldn't show up for a few days. They left all the doors in the house open, even to areas they were not sanding and there was dust everywhere. They hire outside contractors then don't give them clear instructions. They pass the buck when they mess up. Terrible company.
Description of Work: The company was hired to refinish the wood floor in my house. They were late for all their appointments. The installers didn't have clear instructions and started sanding the upstairs when I hired them to do the downstairs. The upstairs looked fine already. The said they would do both since they messed up and I just agreed to pay a little bit extra. When they were done, they had dust everywhere. They didn't even close doors to rooms with carpet. They got stain on the trim and stair backs and didn't put any of the quarter round back about the edges of the floor. The salesman told me he would fix all of it and asked for the last payment. I paid him all but a small amount and he never showed up to fix the problems. I had to pay someone else. I would never use them again. They are unorganized, don't communicate, pass the buck when there is a problem and are just unprofessional.

+ -1 moreCarri Jarrett at Classic Floors was very helpful with the materials selection and flexible with the pricing and installation date. The installation crew did a very good job, paying close attention to detail. We note that the install crew removed and replaced a very small section of tile that was not quite straight and did an excellent job. The crew was careful around all cabinets, appliances and wood floors, however, accidents can happen and there was a very minor repair required to the dishwasher kick plate. We contacted Carri about the dishwasher kick plate and she dispatched their project manager to inspect and he assured us that all repairs would be made immediately. The crew repaired the kick plate and the project manager followed up the next day to ensure everything was satisfactory. Overall we are very satisfied with Classic Floors and recommend their services.

+ -1 moreWhen I went to the store (my third trip there) to order the carpet, the rep suddenly "remembered" that they have a minimum labor charge and that my job would not meet the minimum. She asked if I needed any additional carpet. I made it very clear from the beginning exactly what I needed and even told them the dimensions of the room (it is square and easy to figure the amount needed). The store was not convenient to my home because they had moved. I sought them out because they had done work on my hardwood floors in the past that was more than acceptable. But essentially, they wasted my time.
Description of Work: I needed carpet installed in one room where I had a pet stain. They showed me samples, sent someone to measure and worked up an estimate of the cost.

+ -1 moreWe had designer carpet on our stairs which looks amazing. The installers were prompt and did a great job. Though they may be more expensive than some of the other stores, the customer service is outstanding.

+ 1 moreThey have a great showroom in Olathe that is top notch. Their staff is knowledgable and helpful. Their hours are a little restrictive, but I think they primarily aim for builders, not necessarily the general public. I liked their variety of product and their prices are competitive.
