It went very well.

Kerry came out as scheduled to meet with us to review what we wanted out of a deck. He provided a packet of info that included references, photos of past deck projects and insurance certificates. He provided an estimate within days. We received two other bids and went with Kerry at it was obvious that he not only had great experience and quality references - but knew exactly what we wanted. His price was very fair as compared to other bids. Selecting Kerry and his crew was a great experience from day one. They showed up every day on time and cleaned up the site at the end of the work day. The crew - Frank, Joe and Robert have been with Kerry for + years. Kerry worked along with the crew every day. He is very particular and takes a lot of pride in his and the crew's workmanship. Kerry wants things done right. We highly recommend Kerry and his company and would use him again without any hesitation.

I highly recommend BRUNNER'S QUALITY DECKS to anyone! Kerry explained in details what they would do and how they would do to repair my deck. He said he would give me his estimate in three days and he did; His estimate was honest and reasonable. The day before he came over he called me to tell me when he would come over and many of them would come; they showed up on time and finished the job on time. I was very satisfied with what they have done to my deck. Their job is detailed and very thorough. Kerry and his crew were very polite and professional.

They were real good. They took time to explain everything they were going to do and how they were going to put my front porch on. He gave me an estimate. He called a few days later and lowered the estimate by five or six hundred dollars. I was very surprised and pleased with the way that they did that. I though that showed integrity and honesty. They did a good job on the porch. The quality of construction was very good. They showed up on time. They were very nice and polite people. I was very satisfied with the way they did things.

I am so pleased with everything. The crew was very nice and took the time to answer all my questions. I would recommend this company to anyone. They were on time, cleaned up every day and the work was done to perfection. If there were any way to give them higher than an "A", I would do it. ABSOLUTELY GREAT COMPANY WITH REALLY NICE GUYS.

Kerry came out to provide the quote. It was detail and provided the options we requested. He was patient while we got other quotes and waited for loan approval. He and his crew got to work within a week of our go ahead and built a deck we would be proud to show to anyone. Thanks Kerry.

The project proceeded without a hitch from Kerry originating the building permit and scheduling inspections to the final sign off by the city inspector. They started on Monday morning and finished on Friday morning. A crew of 4 or 5 showed up every morning at the same time, worked all day and then left at the same time every day, taking a small lunch at mid-day. Everyone knew their job and worked in a consistent and deliberate manner, which was very impressive. They worked as a skilled team with the knowledge and skills to make great progress each day. It was very satisfying to see 'good ol fashioned work ethic' in action. Items of concern were discussed with me before resolving, allowing for my input. There were many extras included in the process of building the deck. Like separate gripable hand rail, aluminum ballisters instead of wood, contrasting cedar backing boards on steps etc. I couldn't be more satisfied and would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone wanting quality, price, and delivery on their project. They are the best.

Great! A very professional crew that soon gave me confidence in their work..I asked for some changes and they were very accomodating. They even let me stain the cedar posts and trim boards before they installed them. The deck looks great and I would certainly use them again.

When Kerry Brunner came out for the estimate to replace my deck, he gave me tons of information on deck replacement and composite material. He was professional and very nice to talk with. I was impressed that he said he built decks according to international standards. He answered my questions patiently. After the original estimate and contract, my community association informed me that my townhouse was scheduled to have the siding replaced in 2011. They gave me the option of waiting until that time to replace the deck, or asking the contractor to remove the siding that the deck would join to, check for rot, and repair and replace. I really appreciated that Kerry was flexible and willing to work with them. (It was only $200 more than the original estimate of $6900. I think the community association provided the siding and Zbar.) Kerry's estimate was $1000 lower than the first one I obtained from another company. He had great reviews on Angie's List. I am happy that I hired him. The new deck looks beautiful!! Thank you, Kerry and crew.

On Kerry's first visit he listened to our needs and proceeded to sketch a deck design that exceeded our expectation. He has a creative vision and was able to design a deck that complements our home. He got back to us promptly with a quote for the project. We spoke to other contractors but selected Mr. Brunner because of the competitive price and unique design. When the work began, the crew was always on time, very friendly and cleaned the area at the end of each day. It was obvious that the crew had worked together for some time. They worked quickly but with an eye for every detail. The workmanship was excellent. Kerry even helped us resolve a leaking window well issue. The project was completed ahead of schedule. We are very pleased. At my request, Kerry incorporated an etched glass into the privacy wall of the tub area. He went the extra mile to ensure we were satisfied.

I could not ask for a better outcome. Each step was explained to me by Mr. Brunner. He arranged for the permit, insepction by city was completely approved and a utility worker to mark any buried service lines. These documents werre given to me for my records. The crew arrived at 8:00am and started working immediately. The old deck was knocked down and frame work began. Screws were used instead of nails and all support post were installed in cement. This was not done by the orginal home builder. Because of snow and rain unable to work for two days BUT on the day it did not rain and it was 43 degrees outside the crew was here to finish the job at 7:30AM. Unbelieveable. I HAVE THE UPMOST RESPECT FOR THIS COMPANY. QUALITY WORK and CUSTOMER SATISFACTION are very IMPORTANT to Mr. Brunner and I am one PLEASED customer. You can not go wrong with BRUNNER'S QUALITY DECKS INC.

Everything went very well. This was a very large project. We didn't have any misunderstandings, and Kerry checked with us every step of the way. They worked very hard every day until they were finished. Having these types of work done on your home can be very trying finding a good contractor, coming to a fair price, and deciding on types of materials to use. Getting workers to come every day can be frustrating. Not with this Crew! They were here early every day! This endeavor worked from start to finish and if we need anything like this again, we will call Kerry immediately without question.

He was very professional. I appreciated his input very much, but I was able to get a lower bid that I felt the work would be done just as well. I would consider him in the future.

The crew was here on time every day until the job was completed. We are thrilled with the workmanship and quality of this deck. Every board that was installed was measured, remeasured, levelled, and re-levelled until it was perfect. There was excellent communication among the crew members who obviously had worked with one another for long enough that the expectations were understood clearly by all. They were a cohesive group and very friendly with us and one another. Each day, complete cleanup was done for all work that had been performed that day. The entire deck was completed in four days, with one day needed to perform the removal of the window and installation of the doors. All insulation was installed around the new door to ensure there would be no air leaks. We were so impressed with the work and the crew and love our deck!!

It went very well. The project took just over a day. The crews arrived at the time announced and completed the job quickly. The deck looks great and they did a great job of cleaning up after the work.

My wife and I bought a hot tub and needed a deck to put it on. Kerry came out to our house and sat down with us and together we came up with a rough idea of what we wanted. Between the time the job started and also during the construction, we made small changes and took Kerry's advice on some design improvements. Kerry and his crew were great to work with. They were on site early every day and cleaned up after the job was completed. The finished product is absolutely beautiful. I would recommend Kerry and his crew to anyone.

They executed the whole job in two and a half days. They cleaned up everything in an excellent way. They were very pleasant. They were extremely easy to talk to. I have a feeling of confidence with them.

Excellent work, the main deck and roof went up in just 3 days.

Kerry arrived at the duplex in a timely manner, gave a detailed assessment of the condition of the existing decks & recommended replacement decks with treated material. Pictures & examples were shown. A contract with details & costs were faxed. Upon signing of the contract I was informed that a two week delay would be required due to previous commitments. Kerry & his team were able to start work on the duplex decks several days in advance. I received a call from Kerry when I was away from the city to get permission to start in my absence. The old decks torn down and all material hauled away. New concrete foundations were poured because Kerry felt that the olds ones would not meet specs for the city of Raytown. Kerry was careful to keep the inspectors involved to insure compliance with codes. The new decks were built according to contract & passed city inspection. We met and inspected the work and were very satisfied with the overall job and service. Calls returned promptly.

They could not have been any better! I could not have given them enough A's. Their work was dynamite and their price was super. I've worked with a lot of providers, and I would put them at the top of the list. They tore out the concrete footers, put up a new deck, and cleaned up their mess; all in eight hours (I thought the work would take a couple of days)!

Excellent! The wood was delivered on the weekend before the work began. The crews arrived on time, and started work right away. Kerry stopped by several times throughout the week to ensure that all was going well. We had a little rain, but not enough to slow the job down; they just kept working and were done in only 3 days. They even added some great details: Beveled the railings and posts, cedar spindles, and rounded the edges. Terry worked with our schedules the whole time meeting us before and after hours so we got what we wanted. He even recommended someone for waterproofing once the wood had aged. After accepting his bid, it was several weeks until Mr. Brunner and his crew arrived due to their busy schedule. The day before the materials were delivered, Mr. Brunner revised his estimate by lowering it considerably, truly uncharacteristic of most of the people I've dealt with over the years. Mr. Brunner and his crew are friendly, pleasant people to be around. The crew worked at a steady pace throughout the two and one-half day construction period. There was not a lot of talk among the crew as they concentrated on their work. The workmanship is outstanding. Mr. Brunner insists on using high quality materials and my new porch looks great. When my back porch, which is about to collapse under it's own weight, is replaced, Mr. Brunner will be hearing from me again.

THEY WERE FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS, AND FUN TO BE AROUND. IT SEEMS TO BE VERY FAMILY ORIENTED. THEY WORKED REALLY HARD AND DID A SUPER JOB. THEY WENT THE EXTRA MILE. I DO NOT THINK YOU'LL FIND A BETTER COMPANY AT ANY PRICE.
