Great service! They were able to accomodate my tight schedule to get a large amount of tree trimmings and brush hauled away before my deadline. The two man team was very professional, prompt and courteous. The area was spotless when they left. We were very pleased with the work and will definitely use them again for even more services and highly recommend them to all!!

I purchased an Angie's deal for 4 hours of spring clean up and debris disposal for $135. I put in three possible dates for the service and Brettons confirmed my first choice. Two men arrived on the scheduled day and completed the work quickly and efficiently. I was happy with the service and ordered a separate service for re-mulching.

It went fine. I had to pay for 2 hours. They came and they did everything in 2 hours. It was perfect. We had a lot of trouble understanding their English and they had a lot of trouble understanding mine but we worked it out. It was okay. They did a good job. When I called to ask, I got the call back pretty quickly. They came and worked the whole time. I had no complaints.

They did everything I asked and did it well; they also did a great job with cleaning up afterward.

They came a day later than scheduled because of a computer scheduling issue. Mr. Bretton was very apologetic about the delay and he worked me in the very next day. His crew was very efficient and did a great job. I would highly recommend his company for the lawn job they did and future lawn jobs.

Four men arrived and had it done in just less than an hour. I wish they had come in the afternoon as requested since I was on the phone for work and couldn't hear too well while they were mowing and blowing. But I like how it looks!

The crew showed up on time and were very quick and efficient, It would have taken me a week to do what they did in 2 hours, plus they took all the leaves and sticks with them, so I didn't have to deal with disposing of the lawn waste. I'm so happy with how thorough they were.

The owner was very good at communication. They are also easy to work with.

Three years ago, Tru-green made some very poor cost cutting decisions and my lawn went to crap. I hired Mike's company because he did my neighbor's yard. I like and respect my neighbor so I hired on. His lawn looked good, and I needed a good looking lawn. How easy is it to build a business on that model? Two years later, I'm recommending Mike Bretton because he does my yard, and it looks great. I like to mow my lawn. OK, I'm a freak and I love to mow my lawn. I also love to hear my neighbors tell me how great my lawn looks. Mike respects that, and is not afraid to tell me how he can help me make my lawn great, and still let me mow the lawn. Just today my neighbor, who I would place at the top of "great lawn" list asked me who does my lawn. I kind of didn't want to tell him so my lawn stays the best. But yet I did. Out respect for Bretton's Lawn Care. More than anything, I like that Mike knows that I will pay him for the services that I need, and he is open to share his knowledge to make sure that I have a showcase lawn. I'll need the core aeration next year (allowing my lawn to recover from a new sprinkler system) but also timing the fall yard clean up to minimize cost and keep it looking great. That is a exceptional service provider!

We recently had Mike from Bretton's Lawn Inc. come out to aerate and fertilize our yard. When Mike arrived he talked with me about what he was going to do and answered questions I had about some bad spots in our yard. He gave me an estimate for putting down grass seed that day too. He was polite, professional and did meticulous work. He cleaned the driveway nicely after aerating and seeding. He also left clear instructions for how to care for the newly treated yard. The yard looks great! We are very pleased with the service and the price. Mike also emailed us information with prices for regular yard care which we have decided to do. We were doing it ourselves but are not as knowledgeable about what type of treatments to do when, and his prices are very close to what it would cost us to do it ourselves. We highly recommend Bretton's Lawn Inc!

Mike responded promptly to my request for an estimate. We walked all around our house so I could show him the needed work, and he took careful notes and even some pictures. This impressed me because I knew he would make sure to take care of ALL the work that needed to get done (it was a very big job). He and his crew were able to complete almost all the work in one day (and what they didn't finish that day, they came back the next day to finish). He took some extra time to resolve an issue I noticed that first day, with no hesitation at all. The finished work was exactly what I wanted, even better in some respects. I truly appreciated the thorough nature of his work.

Three employees showed up and were all very polite. They installed all the mulch in about 25 minutes, asked how it looked when they were done, and raked the small backyard clear of leaves. I will definitely use them again.

After experiencing dissatisfaction from three other lawn companies, AND trying to maintain the lawn myself, I decided to try this provider because one of my neighbors who had a beautiful lawn used this company. It was a great decision. I now have the healthiest and most beautiful lawn (front and back) in my entire cul-de-sac of 11 homes. It used to be the worst but now it is the best one! Even though the company owner employs working crews, he does a lot of the work himself, In particular, the treatment and fertilizing of the lawn. His mowing services are reasonable. But I understand they do vary so the "cost of service" should not be determined by my personal charges. It also could be less for others. This provider performs leaf and lawn cleanup services in the fall which are of great benefit if one does not have the time or physical ability to do these. He will make every effort to accommodate your schedule by doing the work when the customer is ready. I would highly recommend this provider to anyone who has responsibility for maintaining a lawn, especially if they are trying to enhance the appearance and health of their lawn. I plan to use this provider for irrigation services before the summer season is over.

Arrived on time - did a fair job of spreading the mulch - cleanup was okay.

They were on time and the service was pretty good. The scheduling and thoroughness were good. I was satisfied with them. We are happy with the results.

After I purchased this deal the company sent someone out with the 4 yards. When I made the appointment and corresponded with the company I indicated that I would need more than the 4 yards and that I wanted additional work done. The delivery person found every reason in the world why he could not do what I asked and he was not interested in what I wanted done. I was so upset with the initial experience I wrote the company telling them to cancel the service and keep my money. No attempt was made to give me an estimate for the additional work and I felt that if they did the work the way I wanted it done I would end up being overcharged. All this company wanted to do was to deliver and dump which was unacceptable to me. I told them that the company I usually use would provide me with an estimate before they do the work. I also said I would not write this review but I am still steaming about this experience so I changed my mind. Angies list is supposed to weed out these companies but I consider this a lesson learned. This is the first experience I have had on Angies List like this.

I got high bids from other people in comparison to his bid 5 years ago. I like him because he is reasonably priced. He is responsive, and I communicate with him through email. He offers aerating, power raking, and fertilizing. However, I don?t utilize those services because I use only low-priced services.
