Bock's Steam Star

The guys that came to my house were very friendly and accommodating when I asked to add another large room. They got a very large rusty water stain out of my sunroom carpet and the other rooms looked great as well. This is the second time I have used this company and I would recommend them! Very reasonable and do a great job on the carpets.

I requested a visit for an estimate and received my preferred time/date. The two employees showed up promptly at the set time. Both gentlemen were very professional and efficient. They measured my Persian Rug, told me about the different kinds of products they had available, and explained in detail the process they used to clean the rug. They did not try to up-sell the cleaning or offered any unsolicited services. They inspected the rug carefully for any existing damage and wrote everything we talked about right on the estimate. I was comfortable with the price and they took the rug to their facilities for cleaning. The rug was returned in clean and in perfect condition, at the exact time/date that they promised and for the exact price on the estimate (I think it took about a week). Would definitely use them again.

The carpet was very dirty in places, had a few pet stains, and looked matted down. They pre-treated the carpet stains, cleaned them, brushed the pile, and scotch guarded. The carpet looks great. The best it's looked in a very long time.

I was very impressed with the work done by, and the professionalism of, the technicians that came to my house. They were pleasant, informative, and prompt. I would highly recommend them and will use them in the future.

They did try to up sell me which was surprising. They quoted me $180.00 and that did not include a few things that I thought it would and so I had to pay extra and I would've assumed that the quote covered what I needed done. The up sell part was to pay extra for removal of stains.

They did a very thorough job and they were very customer friendly. We did not have a protective coating put on the carpet which seemed to result in the carpet getting dirtier quicker. I would use them again in competition with others.

They were on time for coming to pick up my rugs. They moved the furniture, rolled up the rugs, then moved the furniture back. Since my dog had soiled multiple carpets, I choose to have the rugs cleaned by dipping in a special solution. I was out of town when the rugs were finished, but they stored them for me until I returned. They delivered the rugs when we scheduled it and gave me a guarantee for getting the smell out. It's been a few weeks and I still haven't smelled any foul odor coming from the rugs. They even called me a week after the rugs were delivered to make sure I was happy with the rugs. I would definitely use them again.

I have used Bock's Steam Star several times. They are my go to company for all carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, tile/grout cleaning and area rug cleaning. They never disappoint. They are ALWAYS on time and I'm impressed that they wear booties over their shoes when they enter my house (I don't even take my own shoes off at the door)! There was one instance in particular that really impressed me and that was when my teenage son spilled or should I say splattered a heavily dyed red drink all over the carpet in his bedroom. Large and small dots of red where EVERYWHERE. Not only was I worried that it would never come out but I was also worried that the area that the stains covered was so large that I would never be able to afford to have Bock's even try to clean it. Bock's AMAZED me though...the first time they came they cleaned a sample area and weren't satisfied with how the stains were coming out so they went back to their office to consult and come up with a Plan B. Then they returned, at no charge the second time, and got EVERY SINGLE LITTLE TINY STAIN OUT!!! I about fell over when I saw the carpet and my son owes Bock's his life! A Happy Ending...I highly recommend Bock's Steam Star.

The two servicemen came to give us the estimate on 7/27. They were late arriving but had called to say they would be late. They provided the estimate and then took the rugs. There is a backing on the rugs, but the estimator looked at the backing and made no comment. We had moved all of the furniture, so it was very easy for them to roll up and remove the rugs. On 7/28, the office called and told us that they could not clean the rugs in the manner that they had estimated, due to the way the rugs were made. She made it clear this was because of the backing on the rugs. She stated that they would still clean the rugs but were unable to immerse them as originally bid, and that they could not guarantee the results. I asked if the price was the same, and she stated that it was. I called back on 7/29 and told her to return the rugs without cleaning them. She gave me a two-hour window for the return of the rugs on 7/30, from 2-4 PM, and that I would get a call when the rugs were to be returned. The rugs were returned at 4:40PM, and I received a call at 4:30PM telling me they would be there in ten minutes. The team came in and dropped one rug and asked where I wanted the other one. I made them help me roll out the rug and put the room back together, and then they brought in the other rug. They seemed pretty put out by the whole thing; I am sure it was their last job for the day. All in all, I was a bit angry that the estimator gave us a bid on work that they couldn't do, and that he didn't know any better. I don't understand why the rugs could not be cleaned as had been estimated; the estimator had looked at the backing on the rugs and saw no problem with it. He should have known better. I also wasn't happy with the delivery of the rugs, since my time is as important as theirs.

The office person (Nicki) who took my call was AWESOME! Fantastic communication and customer service skills! I was told to expect a call prior to arrival within a 4 hour window. I received a call 90 minutes prior to arrival and Steve and Don arrived exactly when they promised! Steve took his time to understand what we wanted and look for any problem areas on the furniture and carpet. He wrote up a quote on the spot that was exactly what was performed and charged. Steve and Don were amazingly pleasant and professional in every way. I couldn't be happier with my entire experience and will, without a doubt, call Bock for future services. Great job!!!

Excellent. I moved a lot of the small end tables, chairs, lamps ahead of time. They either worked around or moved any of the larger items. They put the furniture up on small styrofoam pads so the wood legs wouldn't get wet. I have numerous pet stain areas and they treated that. Everything smelled clean and fresh when they finished.

They did a wonderful job! The price seemed reasonable. The customer service was great; it was winter so they even shoveled our walkway.

I called Bock Steam Star and set up an appointment between 10 am and 1 pm. The truck called to give an estimated time of 11:00-11:30, then called at 11:15 to say they would be just a few minutes after 11:30. (Very nice of them to call!!) I received an estimate to restretch, disinfect and clean a small area of carpet in our basement. It took them about an hour. They reviewed what they did that day and told us what we needed to do to make sure the carpet dried fully. The next day, Nicki called to make sure everything was great and it was!!

They came out a week ago and did the job. They were very responsive, listened to my needs and suggested alternatives to deal with some of my problems. They gave me several different options as far as cost. They have a 3-tiered cost system and I was able to choose one that was a little bit more economical for me. They came out on the day they said they would come out. They cleaned up after themselves. I was happy with their service. They were a little expensive.

I was very happy with the experience. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the carpet fibers and the best way to clean it. They knew what dirt the material holds on to and what it releases easily. I am planning to use them again soon.

Service was prompt and thorough. Very pleased with the overall experience. I would definitely recommend them to others. All interactions were friendly and professional.

They are very professional. Someone came out and gave up options on what we could do. They cleaned our carpets and also some pet stains. They have very professional equipment. The carpets came out very clean. They were better than anyone we have ever used. We would definitely use them again.

We paid $200 for the service. We thought it was overpriced, but it was okay. They were young, but they were very professional and courteous. They were clean and they did the work in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, we found out later that, there were still certain areas that weren?t clean. So, we called them back. They were responsive to our feedback rather than being argumentative about the same. They are set to come back to redo the areas, shortly. We may use them again.

They gave me an estimate over the phone based on what I wanted to have done. When they got here they realized it was a bigger job that maybe they could bargain for but they stayed true to their price. They worked very hard and did an excellent job. I thought the price was excellent; it was less than I thought it would be, to tell you the truth. They did an excellent job and were very responsive.

It was a good experience. They came out here and gave me an estimate. They did a good job and were out of here in no time. The price wasn't bad.
