Description of Work: Lennie Arenson is a one man shop, but don't let that scare you at all. He's been working on residential HVAC longer than many of his customers have owned homes - some longer than they've been alive. He has tons of relevant experience. And he's honest as all get out. And he works at very, very fair prices. He takes time to get it done right. And he does like to explain, so if you're like me, and you want to understand how your system works and what went wrong with it, he is your best choice. He will tell you when something may possibly be out of compliance with code, whether you're "grandfathered" or instead you Must fix it, and most importantly, if you're grandfathered, he'll tell you honestly whether it is a serious and legitimate safety concern that you should fix despite not being required to, and whether there is enough value to you, the homeowner, in paying to have it changed and brought into compliance. He will definitely point out safety concerns, whether the "code" is relevant or not. And not just human safety, but risks of water damage to your home, etc. He knows a lot about how furnaces, AC, humidifiers, etc., Should be installed and set up, and he discovers when they were done wrong, and counsels how serious a problem it is. Lennie does not do commercial real estate, only houses. And he does Not do installations or sell furnaces, compressors, etc. Just maintains, tunes, and repairs them. That makes him invaluable as a counselor, when considering a whole new system (no conflict of interest, since he does not sell that product or service). We've had him service our furnace, evaporator coil, outdoor condensers, humidifier, more than once through the years. We've even hired him to do a thorough inspection of the HVAC systems in Two separate houses we were negotiating to buy ($85 for at least an hour of inspecting, plus verbal counsel and then a written report! ) So far, I have not found anyone else I'd trust as much for servicing my home HVAC system. I can recommend him without reservation.
