They did not provide a written contract. It led to miscommunication. For instance dry rot damage was professionally repaired, but they didn't seem to understand that you don't leave without painting it. If I hadn't insisted, it would not have been done. The actual painting was a good quality, but communication could definitely be better. A clear contract would have benefitted both of us.
