The house I moved into had none. They came right out and got it all hooked up. So I could comfortably move into it, in the middle of December that had no heater and air conditioning. They were the cheapest. The responsiveness was very good.
Description of Work: I bought a complete HVAC system through Adamson Brothers.

Adamson Bros. provided a set of proposals for a new, high end, efficient system. I had requested a good system. The proposal was very solid technically, but I needed to make several phone calls for them to fill out some of the details. This was for a Trane heat pump and of course a new air handler inside. Let me emphasize again that technically the proposal was fine; it was one step down from the highest end system, and it met my requirements. I would have gone with this provider, except there was a misunderstanding that they could not provide the Trane discount available at this time. Adamson Bros. had done maintenance work on my old heat pump. They had kept it running for several years during the time I was using it from 2007 to 2013. They were dependable, always came out in a timely fashion, and the work was very professional. I really appreciated that they kept an old system going for me until 2013. If they had been able to give me the Trane discount, just based on past service, I would have bought the new system from them. The discount was a large chunk of money.
Description of Work: The system was out of refrigerant. I was given an estimate on recharging with the refrigerant (this was a heat pump installed in 1994, but the cost was so high, it was wise to go ahead with a proposal for a new system. A 19 year old heat pump is not efficient by today's standards, and the old freon is now prohibitively expensive.
