+ -1 moreThe technicians with Animal Solutions were very friendly and professional, from the first call to the close of the job. The technician arrived on time to our appointment and showed me exactly where and how the animal was gaining entry to my home. He set traps just outside the entryway and once the animal was caught, it was removed within just a few hours. He then replaced the thin screening covering the animal's access point and the other attic vents (4 total) with a heavier metal screening to prevent other animals from gaining entry. He also gave me some pointers on how to evict a ground hog that spends his summer's under my porch. I had called for quotes from a couple other wild animal removal companies that I'd found in the yellow pages prior to calling them & Animal Solutions actually offered a better price than the others. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing such services!
Description of Work: Removed a racoon from my attic, patched the animal's entryway into the house, and secured other potential entryways.

+ -1 moreJosh was very knowledgeable about pests/animal/bird/bat entry into an attic. Called him on Monday, July 29, he came out that same afternoon, made his inspection, set trap, and came back Wednesday to complete the job and seal off possible entry point. This is the second time we have used Animal Solutions - earlier time was to remove starlings from bathroom exhaust fan ducts and place new grates on exhaust points. I would certainly recommend Animal Solutions.
Description of Work: Made a thorough review of our roof to look for points of entry of animals and birds/bats. Set trap for possible squirrel in attic. Removed trap after 2 days and sealed area against reentry, as well as sealed off another area and re-secured a soffit board that had come loose.

+ 0 moreJosh spent a lot of time carefully examining and mitigating any possible pest entry. My house is about 65 years old, so it took a lot of effort. But he was very, very thorough. He is prompt, professional and knowledgeable about any and all wildlife habits. (He is a wildlife biologist, in fact). I am very happy with his service.
Description of Work: Mice were getting into my house. I found one area where they had dug out the old steel wool barrier that had been crammed into one spot, but I felt there were more areas. Josh came out and did a comprehensive evaluation of possible entry sites. He also spotted an area where racoons had tried to crawl up my downspouts. He set a live trap, which caught three racoons in two days. He installed a flu cap on my chimney to prevent any critter from that entry and inspected all other vents and soffets. He also went completely around the house, caulking and wiring every possible entry point.
