Everything went great. They showed up on time, Travis is extremely competent and personable. It is very comforting knowing the electrical in the basement was now up to code. During the job, I asked about installing a circuit protector at the panel. Travis stated he did not have one of the truck but would come back and install one. That was 7/14/2016. As of 8/24/16, after email, phone calls unreturned, still no Travis. With this single exception, the job was an A-plus job.

Travis was priced well and arrived when he said he was going to. Will use again.

Travis and his team were very professional, and extremely knowledgeable. If we have to have any electrical work done again, they will be the company we call. We were vacuuming and blew a fuse, or so we thought. But the fuse box hadn't tripped. We narrowed down a GFI that was at the end of the line and replaced it (twice) only to have it never work and start smoking! That's when we called Xtreme Electric. They made two different trips to our house and had to do a lot of troubleshooting to determine exactly where the problem was. They ended up in the attic to check wiring there. Come to find out, we have had faulty wiring in our home since it was built 23 years ago! They were able to troubleshoot and find and fix several issues -- with the wiring, the GFI and the breaker box. We would highly recommend Xtreme Electric.

He was on time and performed the job in a professional manner. He also provide expertise on a couple of other issues and I'm looking forward to working with him in the future.

They were extremely professional and polite. They removed the hard wire from my old stove and installed the new outlet. They also did a breaker box evaluation at no charge since I'm an Angie's List customer. I would definitely use this company again and will recommend them to anyone.

Travis Brown is great. He has been over to the house multiple times. He is excellent. He knows what he is doing. I have known him for years and he is very reliable. If something is not right, he will work to make it right. He really got to the bottom of our issues. He was fair. Some of these people come to your house and demand immediate payment and gouge you. Travis is reasonable. Everything is great.

I needed to have a couple of GCFI outlets installed in my kitchen as part of a request from a buyer?s home inspection. As I am sure you are aware, there are many electricians to choose from. I did all of the usual research in order to pick the right company. I of course read his reviews and went to his website, both of which were very helpful. In the end my research had lead me to choosing Xtreme Electric and I must say I?m glad I did. Not only were they prompt and professional but the technician went further than what was initially called for by the inspection. He thoroughly tested everything to insure everything was in proper working order and even made sure everything was clean before leaving. It?s kind of like a doctor. went very well. Travis showed up on time and went right to work checking out all the connections to the pool. When I told him about the new shed and wiring that would need to be done later this summer he said he would be happy to come back and even quoted what I thought was a very reasonable price. Will have him back for future electrical work when needed.

I called Travis in a panic the day before Christmas as I found that the electrical in my basement (which was recently refinished) was in a dire state. It was not working properly, and the ceiling was filled with erroneous wires leading to a jumbled mess. He was able to setup a service call for a few days later, well before my new years party. Upon arrival we went through everything, and he was shocked to say the least. Regardless, he went through his approach to fixing the problem and how he'd try to keep my cost as low as possible. He was able to salvage the wiring, but started over on all of the connections. He removed many of the erroneous parts that were improperly installed, but still kept to my desires. He even ran to the store to grab some lights for me to check and ensure everything worked properly. Travis and Extreme Electric were amazing, and I'll definitely use them again!

Chose this company on recommendation of plumber (Andy's Pipe Dream). They came out to give estimate and complete work on same day. They inspected the panel and repaired a couple wires. Reinstalled doorbell transformer and installed cover plate. Installed GFI outlet in basement bathroom, in kitchen and on exterior of house. Repaired wiring and installed junction boxes and plate for hood vent and cooktop. Installed outlet for garage disposal and installed outlet and circuit for garage door opener. While I knew of a few things that needed attention, they found a few more things that needed correction. All repairs were done professionally and in a relatively short amount of time. They also gave me a 5% discount for using Angie's List.

Travis came over and helped me plan out what I needed to do for an entertainment center I was having built into the wall. With his expertise and from his own personal experience he was able to give me a very reasonable estimate that was half of what another electric company quoted me. Travis advised me he would be at my house by 9am and showed up promptly and started work immediatly. With one person helping him they were able to do all the work he said he would do in 4 hours. Travis did some amazing work with roughing in my entertainment center, when the entertainment unit gets installed he will come back and finish up. Travis is going to come back and install the light switches and outlets, outlet plates with a color that will match the wood. Even though it is roughed in it looks really clean and neat. I will be recommending his services to everyone I know looking for electrical work. Really awesome job!!

Did a very good job in a very promp time

I was doing a major remodel and Xtreme Electric was the subcontractor. The work started on April 15, 2011 and ended on August 8, 2011 when the electrician walked out with the work unfinished. The installation of the pot lights in the den was done on time and professionally. The electrician even replaced a dimmer switch in the den that quit working after the work was started. The 5 pot lights in the kitchen were to be done according to the contractor's plan, with three along the west wall, and 1 each on the north and south walls opposite each other. I don't think the contractor showed the drawing to the electrician because the light on the north side was moved over, putting it too close to the place where the chandelier was to be installed. The plugs in the den and kitchen were relocated and because the process took several months, with loose wires hanging out of the walls, the power was turned off to this circuit. When the plugs were finally installed, and the power turned on, the switch for the back yard light wouldn't work. The contractor was aware of this as it was on the same circuit as the new plugs that were installed. After the electrical passed the final inspection by the city, the contractor decided he did not want to finish the remodel work and I contacted Xtreme Electric myself.They were to finish installing two pendant lights and a chandelier, provide power to my cooktop and back yard light, install dimmers for the chandelier and pot lights in the kitchen, and clean up wires that were hanging loose in the circuit box. I had prreviously paid the contractor all but $200.00 for this work. I withheld the $200.00 because the work was not finished by July 21, 2011 when the contractor wanted to be paid. Xtreme Electric had made two appointments to come and finish the work before that date, but didn't show up either time. I had taken off work both times so I could be home when they came.When they did come on August 8, they installed the chandelier and 2 pendant lights and restored power to the cooktop. I asked about the dimmers and was informed the contractor was supposed to furnish them. I showed him that the back yard light switch did not work and he checked it out and said he did not know what was wrong. He thought the wire might have been cut when the plugs were relocated. Because the light was located in a difficult place to get to, he offered to install a light in another location in the back yard. This location was not acceptable to me because it would have illuminated less than half of the back yard. I told him I thought he should fix the light in its current position which would illuminate 3/4 of the back yard. When he heard that, he couldn't leave fast enough. He packed up his things and left, practically running out the door. I have no covers for the light switches and plugs in the den, the phone jack is not installed, the light in the back yard does not work and after he left, I discovered that one of the switches for the pot lights no longer works since he installed the chandelier and pendants. I am a little concerned about this being a fire hazard. As he left, he said, "I'll be in touch to fininsh up this work," but I don't think he will ever call.

The new circuit was installed without any issues. The outlet for the cook-top made use of the existing circuit. The team completed the work quickly and cleaned up after they were done. I will use them again.
