When new Hurricane windows were being installed, they found some mold around the windows. They could not continue until we got rid of the problem. I called Mold Pros because of the rating on Angie's list. John, from MP, recommended an inspector to come out first, write a report etc. He would report; Mold Pros would do the remediation . We paid him $525.00 by check the day he came. He said we would hear from him with two days; nothing. Several calls to M.P's finally got a fellow with 2 others, who came on a Sunday. They had no equipment with them and said it was a much bigger job than inspected. They taped up a window with plastic and left. Monday, nothing. After repeated phone calls another MP guy shows up; walks around with his "moisture meter" and lets us know , "we have moisture". Really? On leaving, he assures us someone will call to set up another appt. the next day. Nothing. After repeated calls we meet Brad from MP's. He comes with his moisture meter and let's us know we have moisture. He plans to contact our window installers to make a plan of "working together; using the same scaffolding, etc". The day is set up; 3 weeks later. The window installers show up at 7:30am. We called Brad from Mold Pros at 8:30am; he said he needed the contract signed and a down payment and that he would go and talked to their scheduling dept. to see if they could get a crew!!!!!!!!!! We had called him for weeks asking for the contract so we could read it before we signed. He sent it on the Friday afternoon; the weekend before the installation of the windows on Monday. There was no way we could get this info to our insurance company before our window installers were to arrive. This company is incompetent ; untruthful and totally unreliable .Thank you for letting me vent. We are now looking for another Mold co. And, we start all over again. Our windows were delivered and to be installed on Oct. 24th. Gail Martin, Naples, Fl

We didn't hesitate to accept his quote. The company was very professional, courteous & thorough. They went above & beyond their scope of work, even vacuuming the floor, rafter-webs, and the basement staircase, aside from providing superior work eliminating the mold. Great job, Billy & team!

Although the on-call service person advised me that he had 3 other clients awaiting service on Tuesday morning, the service crew from Associated Well Service arrived by 8 am on Tuesday morning. They were experienced & efficient, patient with my questions, and extremely courteous. Due to heavy rains and the location of my well, the service truck did create ruts in the yard. The crew was very apologetic and did their best to minimize damage to my yard. The service crew found a problem with my well trying to plug the pump; they removed over 325 feet of pipe to get to the pump; installed new valve; replaced the pump, motor and control box. They also replaced 325 feet of ground submersible direct cable and 21 feet of 1-1/4 galvanized pipe. They were finished by 11:00 am. and returned for a follow-up check at 12:00 noon. These are extremely experienced and dedicated employees - love the company they work for and in my opinion are a direct reflection of the owner/management. Without any reservation, I highly recommend this company.

I called to schedule and appointment and they promptly got back with me and explained on the phone how the whole process worked and the costs. We adjusted the cost a little because after they came out we found some areas that I wanted to have further tested. John walked with me thru the whole house and checked everything out and then went back and did his testing inside and out. We had the results within a week and only had a small problem in the basement. We decided to treat the basement and they promptly made an appointment to come out and clean up the basement which cost me an additional 500.00 and they took care of a spot in my closet as well as leaving me some of the solution to deal with an small area that i needed to tear out and replace. It was all very easy and professional and informative.

Excellent service from start to finish. We had several come out to look at our situation and offer mold remediation and restoration services. However, Midwest Environmental Professionals (MEP) was the only company that identified encapsulation as a solution to keep the mold from returning. From all the research I did on the Internet, this was the way to go. The individual from MEP who first came out to view our crawl space was genuine and straight forward. He was also onsite for all the work. In total, four men did the work and they were all highly professional and respectful. All calls and emails were promptly answered/returned and everyone showed up to work when they said they would. The entire process from the original inspection to completion of the job was less than two weeks. It would likely have taken less time if I had responded quicker to get on their calendar. The actual onsite work to remove old insulation, provide mold remediation, and encapsulate the crawl space took two and a half days. I highly recommend this company.

Tracy was our agent and he was so deliberate in his communications! I was always getting his updates and his plans, first by phone, then confirmed with an email explaining everything. When the lab reports came back, he called to explain what they indicated. He was so conscientious! He and his team were very careful to explore areas to identify where the mold was found, they then removed only what was necessary (sheetrock, carpet, etc) to be sure that they had it all taken care of, nothing more. And the post-treatment levels we amazing! It was a problem solved!
