Very happy with the work Rob and his team did installing my new windows. I had 6 new windows installed on the front of my house that were in pretty rough shape. Rob and team replaced all 6 Windows, installed all new smart trim, caulked, painted, etc... During the original quote and during each day of the install, they arrived at exactly the time they said they would and provided great service! I've hired a lot of contractors over the years, working with this company was by far one of my best experiences. The quality of work and the customer service were both top notch!

They were very nice, informative, and punctual. Gave us a much better price for the work than competitors. However, other costs prevented us from affording vinyl siding at the time.

Rob and his crew exceeded my expectations from the beginning. They kept all materials and debris cleaned up during the process, and even went above and beyond the scope of the project. For example, I had no idea that they would go to the extra effort and expense of flashing underneath the new siding, about a foot up every wall! When I noticed this extra effort, I was told that it was done to prevent any water from getting behind the new siding. WOW! These guys took great care of my home, and I would recommend them to everyone!

Everything went well.

One of the reasons I've waited to respond, and review R.K. constructions work was to not only compare before and after energy bills, but to also have other work done which gave me more feedback on how efficient R.K. Construction windows and doors really were. I employed another Angies List member, R-MECH Energy Solutions to do an energy audit on our home this spring. I knew that I needed more insulation in the attic, but I also wanted to check other sources of energy drain in the home.. The evaluation was performed by Rob Pender. He did a visual inspection of our home, ask how old it was, and wanted to do an and quot;Air Exchange Baselineand quot; to determine how much air was being exchanged in the home every hour! Something new to me. His estimate based on the age of the house and his visual inspection was that we had close to an 85%-95% air exchange/hour. Which means that every hour 85-95% or the air in the house is turned over, or lost to outside sources and as such, very costly in energy bills. I him that R.K. Construction had installed new windows and doors and sealed them, but he said that really has little bearing on the air exchange value. So he conducted the test, not once, not twice but three times, unable to believe his readings. He asked again who installed my new windows and doors and he said they must have done an incredible job! My air exchange value was at .38 or 38% which in his report said was ideal!! I shared this information with Rob Ewing of R.K. construction, and he was obviously proud of the work he and his team did, and even more impressed with confirmation of a job well done by an outside agency. My most sincere appreciation and congratulations goes out to R.K. construction for a GREAT JOB!! By the way, I did use the company mentioned above to increase my attic insulation value to R-48.

We had made the "deal" for two new windows back in late October when Rob told us it would be December before he could get to us. Weather became a factor, but there was no real hurry, so that didn't bother us. They were here right on time and were very professional. We'll know more when the weather warms and we can actually use the windows, but for now we're completely satisfied. When we're ready to install more new windows, we'll definitely use RK again!

My parents recommended Ron and he was excellent. I plan to have him install additional windows throughout the house. He is honest, personable and did an excellent job.

Rob Ewing removed our old door. Installed a new larger door (from Pella), new (smaller) transom, and decorative glass side panels. Huge job...and Rob completed it in a day. From our initial conversations, to measuring the space, to the final installation, Rob is excellent at communicating and follow-thru. We have used him before for windows and siding....at several rental properties and our former residence. Rob is a professional with integrity.

Excellent from start to finish

Rob does excellent work. He has replaced the windows and siding at my house (AWESOME) and replaced the windows at another rental property we own (GREAT!). Like our previous experience, this project went well. The windows look great and the new front door and storm door are a huge improvement.....really change the appearance of the house. Rob is a professional. He is honest and hard working....and a joy to work with.

Rob was able to start the job a day earlier than expected and finished the next day - both he and his crew were very courteous and did an excellent job. the windows look great and we have no more drafty windows!

Everything went very well. Although the work period turned out to be a very cool week, Rob and his crew were there working every day. All work was completed in a high quality and professional manner. Rob put in extra effort on small details to make the final job look great. All work areas were cleaned up appropriately at the completion of the job.

Rob and his assistant are very conscientious. All work was done as promised, with attention to detail. All debris was carted off. Shrubs and other plants around the house were protected.
