Pet DeFence Hidden Dog Fences of Kansas City

This is the second experience we had with Roger at Pet Defence. We have found him to be extremely responsive to any questions or needs. Most importantly he has provided us with training and traiing plan for our dogs. It is humane and the dogs learn very quickly. I would not use any other than Pet Defence.

We've had the Pet Defence electric fence for a year now so I figure this review is better late than never. This product is a great alternative in our neighborhood where only metal rail fences are allowed. Cost-effective and zero maintenance. We stuck to the training program we were taught immediately after the installation and it has worked ever since. Our 25lb dog (3-4 years old) quickly became trained to the safe zone area versus the shock zone area. Our property is bordered on two sides with neighbors (who also have pets) and on one side with deep woods. He has freedom to move around the yard and lays down before he reaches the edge of the shock zone?I've seen him do this even at a full sprint while chasing rabbits. He wears the Pet Defence shock collar every time he goes out into the yard. We have recently replaced the batteries in the collar. The Pet Defence team was thorough and encouraging with our training. The installation was easy?buried line?and is controlled through a box in our garage. They left behind all the training documents and have training and control box tutorial videos online.

These guys were great. They were very careful with placing the fence, however they still managed to hit my sprinkler three times. I realized that they stated that they were not responsible for sprinkler lines, but I contacted Roger anyway to see what his response would be. Roger never contacted me. In fairness to Roger, I did not check my sprinklers or realize that there was a problem until a couple weeks later. But it still cost me another $199. They did provided a full explanation and training on the system. I would use them again! Just be careful with your sprinkler lines!

They put the wires exactly were we wanted them. Along with everything we purchased came the caller for the dog. The man that barriers the wire also showed us and helped us train the dog. He showed us how it works and to keep the dog contained. They put the flags around were if they go beyond that they will be shocked. The gods learned very quickly. The containment system our dog leaned so fast it was not even funny. They were really good and I would not hesitate to contact them.

It went fine. We get billed every they come out and it was pretty reasonable. It looks great. We are very happy it and our dog is happy too. The owner, Roger, is our main contact. He responds to phone calls and emails. Sometimes he can handle your questions on the phone and sometimes he has to send a service person out. They are very prompt and he is very crystal clear on how much it is going to cost which is great and he can tell you in advance usually. We are very happy with their installation and their service over the years. They are superior all the way across over the years that we have used them. Some of our neighbors also use them.

They are good. I would use them again if I needed to.

The owner came out to do the work. He is personable and he is knowledgeable. After he installs the fence, he helped train my dog and educate me on how to use the fence.

Roger, the owner, was very informative and has a dog friendly training method which is easy to follow and made the experience fun for our 4 dogs. Our dogs include a lab, a mixed breed and 2 Boston terriers. They range in age from 4-12 and had never been in any yard other than a fenced yard. When we relocated to a property with acreage, we wanted the dogs to be able to enjoy a large area and did not want to obstruct our view. The installation by Amado and training by Roger were professional and pleasant. We couldn't be more surprised and pleased at how quickly the dogs have adjusted.

We have been using their service for about four years. Anytime we have an issue, we have called them for the repairs. They are able to come out within a week from calling. They have been reliable and done a fine job.

The work turned out excellent! I looked around and their price was reasonable and comparable to others. Anything that has come up, we were able to resolve on the phone. Their training and installation were both excellent and superb!

I called Roger, left a message. He called me right back. We met, scheduled our install date. The date of the install, they were at our house when they said they'd be. Our fence was installed & immediately we started with training our 2 dogs. 1 picked it right up, the other was a bit more stubborn. Roger was very patient with her & trained until she understood.

I used this company to install my underground dog fence when I moved into my house in 2001 and was highly satisfied with the installation and training process. Over the years since the fence installation, whenever I have needed to contact Roger McCoy regarding any issue with the fence (usually "operator error" on my part), he has always been highly responsible, professional, and extremely helpful.
