Carol with Overland Concrete made this process so simple from start to finish. Great company to do business with. Carol will be st opping by to look at one little odd spot on the driveway but overall it looks great! Very impressive company!

Done on the date specified. Appearence is good. Problems with the contract: The initial contract was done and I received a callthat the portion immediately adjacent to the garage had inadvetantly left out.A new contract was sent with this area specified but this contract left out moving a downspout that was causing some ot the initial problem. I did not realize it was left out and the downspout was not relocated. Have discussed with the providers and can have this done now.

Excellent job overall. The bid submitted was the most professional and compelte of all the companies I contact for this job. All the details were spelled out--both what would be done and what the company could not be responsible for. And I really appreciated this. Everyone I spoke with during the job was professional and friendly. Crews were very careful with removal of old concrete so that adjoining areas were not damaged. Care was also taken to reduce dust from areas where concrete had to be cut which was much appreciated. Preparation of job site for the new concrete was thorough. A good layer of gravel placed and compacted. Rebar placed and tied throughout. Placement of joints and overall finish looks excellent--a very attractive appearance overall. Crew also did an excellent job of removing and replacing a basket ball goal at the end of the patio. From talking with the crews found out many of them had a number of years of experience in concrete work and some had been with the company for an extended time. After the job the crew did an excellent job of cleaning the job site. Company owner was by at least once to inspect the progress of the work and check with me regarding code issues with the city of Kansas City and how to deal with a city tree that was causing heaving issues with the sidewalk. The resulting solution meets code and is attractive--a great functional solution. Overall, I am extreemly pleased with the work of this company. I am fully confident in recommending them to others.

It went very well, tear out and setup on day one, poured on day two, and site cleanup on day three. The crew was very nice and answered all my questions. As with any contract from a contractor it favors them and has a lot more language around what they are not responsible for that what they are responsible for. Make them document the exact process they use, do they tie every rebar at a 90 degree intersection, they said yes, I said put it in writing. The crew was only going to tie every outside joint but every other one in the middle. By having it in the contract I pointed it out and they tied them all. The job looks great. I also looked at around seven driveways they have done in the past five years and they all looked good. The price may not be the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and others will cut corners.

They came out right away. They seemed to be very nice. The concrete on the pool was peeling due to the wind. They said the concrete that they would put would stand, but I wasn?t too sure it would offer a good solution for me. Their bid was high too. We did not use them as they were expensive. I took care of the problem myself. The solution that I found was cheaper and it satisfied my needs.

The quality of their work was just superb. They may have torn into our irrigation system, but I will be following up with them. I may have to end up replacing it myself, but this sort of thing may end up happening with this type of project. Overall, I'm satisfied with the way it turned out.

They had the highest price of all the companies we had reviewed. We ended up not using them in the end, but the overall experience was fine.

They did a great job. Pat was quick to come out and give an estimate and explain how he was going to fix drainage issues. They brought in a brick guy who did an excellant job replacing the step and repairing the stoop. He also did the brick work on the sidewalk. Carol was also in touch to let me know when work was to be done. A pleasure to work with this company

They did a great job. The owner was the one that came out and he knew what he was talking about. He gave me straighter information than some of the other guys that quoted me. Their price was not the lowest, but they were reasonable. They did an excellent job. Their workers were courteous. They were fast. One of the nice things about it was my driveway has a steep slope and steep slope drives tend to crack. They made smaller panels and more joints to eliminate the cracking. There hasn't been a crack yet and they completed the job the end of last summer.

We were very impressed with the quality of their work. Pat and Carol, the owners, were very knowledgeable and attentive in answering all of our questions and helping us choose the pattern and color for the patio and stoops. Cesar and his crew were so hard-working in the sweltering heat with great attention to detail and cleanliness of the job site. After the job was completed, I called them to inquire about concrete sealer and a couple of days later a 5 gallon container of sealer was delivered to our house, at no charge!

They were hard to get in touch with but so were others. They called about three business days before they come to begin the work. Rather than providing us with a copy of the contract (three pages) they told us to make a copy of it. On a $12,000 proposition this should have been a red flag! The small print contained numerous important items such as no "back filling." This means it was up to us to put dirt back in around the driveway. Even though our sprinkler system was marked before they started they disregarded the markings on one side of the drive. They neglected to mark where they cut the wires. Where the replacement sleeves were put was seven feet away from their original location resulting in more parts and labor to put the sprinkler system back in working order. Total damages were over $300 which they denied any responsibility for. With an item like this you never know how long it will last so it is hard to assess the quality received but the service is what it is.

I was very impressed with their professionalism and prompt response to my request for a quote. They set a mutually agreeable appointment time, and they were there on time. They have a thorough knowledge of their trade, and the proposal was extremely informative and complete. I ultimately chose another contractor, primarily on price.

Great experience. Most professional and well-written contractor's quote I've ever seen. Cesar and crew were very nice and did an excellent job! I highly recommend Overland Concrete.

We called the company several weeks ago-were told they would call back within the hour-we are still waiting for the call

PRETTY EXPENSIVE BUT GOOD QUALITY. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND GAVE ME A LOT OF REFERENCES.

PATRICK BROWN RESPONDED TO OUR REQUEST FOR AN ESTIMATE VERY PROMPTLY. HE ALSO SENT US THE ESTIMATE BY E-MAIL THE VERY NEXT DAY AND THEN MAILED ONE. BEFORE THE DRIVEWAY WAS DONE, WE HAD QUESTIONS AND CALLED THE OFFICE. OUR QUESTIONS WERE ANSWERED VERY EFFICIENTLY. WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH MR. BROWN. HE ALSO GAVE US A LONG LIST OF DRIVEWAYS HE HAD COMPLETED SO WE COULD CHECK ON THOSE. THE WORK WAS DONE IN TWO DAYS AND EVERYTHING WENT VERY WELL. CLEANUP WAS COMPLETE. THE PRICE OF THE DRIVEWAY WAS COMPARABLE WITH OUR OTHER BIDS. WE CHOOSE OVERLAND CONCRETE BECAUSE OF THE PROMPTNESS AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER WE EXPERIENCED IN DEALING WITH MR. BROWN.

THIS COMPANY TOLD ME AN ESTIMATOR WOULD CALL ME BACK NEXT WEEK TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT (BECAUSE THEY WERE BUSY). I CONTINUED TO CALL OTHER COMPANIES FOR BIDS AND BY THAT TIME I HAD ALREADY HIRED ANOTHER COMPANY.

IT IS A MESSY JOB AND THEY WERE SO CLEAN THAT I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ANYONE HAD BEEN OUT HERE WORKING. I WISH THAT ALL OF THE WORK I HAVE EVER DONE WAS THIS PLEASANT. THEY ARE VERY CORDIAL PEOPLE AND I LIKED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE. THEY WEREN'T THE CHEAPEST, BUT THEIR COST WAS REASONABLE. THEY WERE POLITE, PLEASANT, AND THERE IS NOT ONE BAD THING I CAN SAY ABOUT THE JOB. IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE.

I WOULD HAVE LIKED MORE NOTICE BEFORE THEY BEGAN THE WORK, AND I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED FOR THE WORK TO HAVE BEEN DONE WHEN THE GROUND WAS DRIER. OVERALL, I AM HAPPY WITH THE WORK, BUT I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE ASKED ME BEFORE PUTTING THEIR STAMP IN THE CEMENT.
