Company provided same-day service, with choices of service windows. Tech called before arriving to verify location. Tech (Luke) was extremely nice, worked quickly, and had no trouble restoring door to working condition. Doors are old (probably original to the house) and missing parts, and while he suggested we replace them (and measured and gave us an estimate for doing so), he was respectful of our decision to keep them.

Quiet, efficient worker. Good cleanup. There was a mix up on the window design, but they came out a week later and took care of it. Very satisfied.

This has been a fiasco from the first. If they'd sent a competent man out here the first time, he would've realized there was a problem and he wouldn't have continued with the installation. Their angle is that I was supposed to have everything set up so they can bolt the thing into the wall and go. If I'd known how to wire it myself, I would've done it. Just with Overhead alone, I've got 480 dollars wrapped up in a garage door. The first time they charged me more than 300, and I wasn't done. It just kept going, and I'm out a whole lot of money and aggravation.

When I setup the appointment, they allowed me to select a time range. They came toward the end of that range, but well within it. They called in advance, as promised. He quickly assessed the situation and had the cable replaced in no time. He then took a little time to lube up other parts of the door, opener and other parts to make the door operate MUCH better than it previously had been. He told me that my openers were old and that I might have trouble finding parts for them. He told me about the openers they carry, but did not make any hard-sell pushes on me--just suggestions. Very nice guy. Quick and excellent work performed. I would definitely call this company again.

Bryan showed up about 1/2 hour earlier, but worked NON-STOP until 5 and finished all his work. He was patient with all my questions and comments and willing to explain things in a simple, direct manner. I originally saw the doors on Metcalf. Ed Forsyth came to the house to give us the estimate and he was fun to work with and also very professional and honest with us. Did not give us any hard sale & just suggested what he thought would work best, as had Frank Hutzel at the Metcalf showroom. All three of these professionals worked quickly and efficiently with us. Prices seemed higher then a few others we looked at, but they were able to attend to us sooner within our time frame. My sister & cousin have also used Overhead Door (in the past) and spoke highly of the company. I had tried to make contact with Overhead Door via e-mail, but never received a response. Nice people to deal with anyway, so the contacts were worth it.

Marshall was a very pleasant, courteous young man. Worked diligently, and when finished took time to go over everything with me; I learned a few new things. He even oiled the spring on the other garage door opener which was appreciated. Did not shop around first as we were pleased with their prior work and wanted someone with plenty of experience with this type of garage door opener (low clearance).

They were professional and timely in their service.

WERE PROMPT, EFFICIENT AND VERY GOOD TO WORK WITH. PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS AND I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

THEY WERE ON TIME AND QUICK. I CALLED FOR AN APPOINTMENT THE MORNING AFTER THE CABLE BROKE AND THEY WERE HERE WITHIN TWO HOURS AND COMPLETED THE JOB IN LESS THAN AN HOUR. THE PRICE WAS FAIR FOR THE WORK AND PARTS REPLACED.

DOOR INSTALLED. TECHNICIAN INSTALLING DOOR DISCOVERED TERMITES IN 2 X 4 WHICH HE REPLACED FOR $20. WHEN DOOR OPENER DID NOT WORK LATER ANOTHER TECHNICIAN CAME AND REPLACED THE CAPCITATOR IN OUR EXISTING OPENER AT NO CHARGE. SEVERAL MONTHS AFTER INSTALLATION, DOOR BEGAN TO JAM & THEN BUCKLED. COMPANY REINSTALLED THE DOOR AND REPLACED THE DAMAGED PANELS AT NO CHARGE AS PER WARRANTY. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH HOW PROMPTLY THEY PERFORMED THE REWORK.

THEY INSTALLED THE AUTOMATIC DOOR OPENER IN FEBRUARY. THE SYSTEM CAME WITH A PAIR OF ELECTRIC EYES THAT BEGAN TO MALFUNCTION WHEN THE SUNLIGHT MESSED UP THE SENSORS. THE COMPANY CAME OUT AND FIXED THE PROBLEM QUICKLY, FREE OF CHARGE.

OUR JOB WAS CUSTOM, SO IT TOOK A WHILE LONGER THAN PROJECTED; HOWEVER, A QUALITY JOB FOR A FAIR PRICE. JOE WAS A VERY GOOD ACCOUNT REP. ERIC, THE INSTALLER, WAS GREAT!

THE SALESMAN (JOHN) WAS PROMPT. HE GAVE ME 2 ESTIMATES: 1 FOR REPAIRING THE DAMAGE AND 2 FOR REPLACING THE ENTIRE DOOR. EXPLAINED TO ME THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN REPLACING AND REPAIRING, BUT DIDNT PRESSURE ME IN TO CHOOSING THE MORE EXPENSIVE OPTION. WHEN I HAD QUESTIONS, HE CAME OUT (PROMPTLY) A SECOND TIME, AND WENT OVER EVERYTHING WITH ME AGAIN. THE REPAIRMAN (WHO HAD 26 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH THE COMPANY) WAS ABOUT 30 MINUTES LATE, BUT HE FINISHED THE JOB IN THE AGREED AMOUNT OF TIME. AGAIN, HE POINTED OUT OPTIONS TO ME, BUT LEFT THE DECISIONS ENTIRELY TO ME. AT FIRST GLANCE, THE QUALITY OF THE MATERIAL, INSTALLATION, SERVICE, AND PRICE APPEAR TO BE EXCELLENT.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB - VERY EFFICIENT AND FRIENDLY.

ON TIME. SAME DAY SERVICE. WAS DONE IN 40 MIN. BOB WAS COURTEOUS & FRIENDLY, EXPLAINED EVERYTHING HE DID.

KEITH THE SERVICEMAN WAS ON TIME, EXPLAINED WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE AND HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE, AND WAS REASONABLY PRICED. I WAS AMAZED THEY WERE ABLE TO DO THE JOB AT THAT SHORT NOTICE AND BE PROMPT AND EFFICIENT. HE WAS VERY POLITE AND DID NOT TALK DOWN TO ME. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANY GARAGE DOOR REPAIRS.

VERY PROFESSIONAL-GOOD PRICE I FELT.

THE WORK WAS DONE IN A QUICK AND TIDY MANNER. ONLY TAKING ONE DAY AND COMING AT A VERY CONVENIENT TIME FOR US. THE FINAL PRODUCT TURNED OUT BETTER THAN EXPECTED AND HAVENT HAD ANY PROBLEMS.

I'VE USED OVERHEAD DOOR OF KANSAS CITY SEVERAL TIMES AND HAD VERY GOOD WORKMANSHIP. PRICES ARE A BIT HIGH, BUT THEN I FEEL YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. TECHNICIANS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. TONY DID FIRST PART WITH TRANSMITTER (SOLVED MY PROBLEM RIGHT AWAY) AND 14-POINT DOOR MAINTENANCE, KIRK CAME THE FOLLOWING WEEK TO INSTALL WEATHER STRIPPING AT DOOR BOTTOMS. I WAS CHARGED FOR ONLY ONE SERVICE CALL. WITH ANY COMPANY IT'S IMPORTANT TO FIND OUT WHO IS COMING TO DO THE WORK. GET THE NAMES, THEN REQUEST THOSE WHO DO GOOD WORK: TONY & KIRK WERE VERY GOOD. I WAS ESPECIALLY PLEASED THAT SCHEDULES WERE KEPT, THEY CALLED EARLIER TO LET ME KNOW THEY WERE COMING, ETC. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM.

WE HAVE USED THEM FOR MANY YEARS. ALWAYS ON TIME AND POLITE.

ADAM WAS VERY WELL ORGANIZED. HE HAD THE DOOR FIXED IN A TIMELY MANNER.

THEY GAVE GOOD INFORMATION AND DID A SUPER JOB.

THE TECHNICIAN WAS VERY POLITE. HE EXPLAINED REPAIRS THAT I NEED AT A LATER DATE. HE REPLACED THE ENTIRE LOWER PORTION AND WAS QUICK IN DOING SO.
