Excellent. Installer called when on the way. I needed to run a few errands, so he called when he was wrapping up so I could get back and meet with him. He reprogrammed my existing key pad opener for me and was very professional and courteous.

We discovered one morning our garage door spring broke (with cars trapped in the garage and needing to get to get to work!), so we called for a repair and a technician arrived in an hour or less. Since we also needed a couple panels replaced, we asked for an estimate on those. Once we found out it would be several hundred dollars total for the repairs, we asked about the cost of a new door and decided to go that direction instead (but there was no sales pressure). They repaired our existing door temporarily for no charge (which was very appreciated so we could get our cars out and function through the weekend). We put a $300 deposit down on a Thermacore insulated steel door in sandstone color and it was delivered and installed within four working days. We are very pleased with and was happy with the service and installation done on time as scheduled.

The installer was very neat and knew what he was doing he did a very fine job he cleaned up in a good order, and answered all my questions and gave me all the necessary instructions to operate my garage door opener.

Everything went well, they were very prompt and finished in about 45 minutes, which was important because I had to catch an airplane for a business trip.

The installer arrived early. We had been told that the job would take half a day. However, he did the entire job, adjusted the old door opener, cleaned up, and was gone in less than 2 hours. He was the most efficient worker I've ever seen. The door looks good. It's the first garage door I've ever owned that actually fit tightly. It insulates much better than the old door and is also much lighter.

I was extremely pleased with the service provided by Keith, the technician. My garage door had been functioning poorly for quite sometime, but it finally quit opening completely, stranding me in my house. Overhead had a technician at my house within two hours. Keith did a thorough inspection and was able to quickly diagnose all of the problems. He gave me the price for simply repairing the existing 20 year old opener, and he did not put any pressure on me at all to purchase a new opener. When I indicated that I wanted to replace it, he showed me a model with a very reasonable price that included an extra remote and a keyless entry pad. Keith then went the extra mile to rearrange his schedule so that he could do the installation that afternoon rather than coming back the next day so that I wouldn't have to miss another day of work. He had to make another call and pick up the parts, but he returned exactly when he said he would and he completed the job in less time than he estimated. When he was finished, he didn't just hand me the remote and leave, but rather he spent about 30 minutes going over all of the features of the door opener. He was friendly, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend this company, and Keith in particular.

They were great. They arrived on time and they were very kind. They told me exactly what they were doing. He cleaned up everything. There was some grit that fell from the chain. He was very nice and personal.

We called Overhead Door because of a broken garage door opener motor. The serviceman showed up on time, assessed the situation and gave us some options. He also suggested replacing the 10 rollers on the tracks as some were quite warped and impeding the smooth running of the door. We had him check another garage door where some rollers were also damaged. He oiled those rollers and replaced one with the best he had taken off the first garage door. He charged nothing additional for that and gave us a very good price on the roller replacement job on the first garage door.

They replaced all the rails, etc, added weather stripping, etc. all done in about a 4 hour period. The new, lighter, insulated door works much more smoothly and quietly, and the garage is warmer and doesnt have the north-facing wind howling through it anymore. The installer was a bit verbal with his frustrations. Though he was in the garage alone I could still hear him. Nevertheless, he did a good job. I have been pleased with the results.

We are very satisfied with the work performed. The installer did a great job and explained how the new openers functioned when complete. We have been very happy with the new doors, they replaced old solid wood doors with windows which were horribly inefficient. The temperature in the garage has increased significantly this winter due to the higher R value of the new doors, and we expect it to be much cooler in the summer. Would highly recommend Overhead Door for garage door replacement.

Our old garage door opener died and I wanted to replace it rather than repair it. It was old and noisy. I called the number, spoke with a nice and courteous scheduler and set the appointment. The scheduler was able to discuss the product, the cost, answer my technical questions over the phone. The technician came at the appointed time, installed the product within his estimate of time, and showed me basic operation. I had to leave for an appointment before he was done, so I didnt get a whole instruction session. I felt like I could trust the technician alone in our garage, as well.

The job went well. I called their showroom in southern Overland Park, asking if I could come in and look at some samples and get an idea of pricing. The person I spoke with advised against it, saying they really needed to send a salesman to my house. Because of the company's high grades on Angie's List, I decided to agree to a salesman visit even though I would have preferred getting more information first. The salesman first proposed an insulated garage door, but our garage is not heated or insulated. He agreed with me that a non-insulated door was adequate for us. The installation crew showed up on time and did good work. Although we weren't buying a power opener, I had requested a door that was "opener ready" with the attachment plate for the opener arm installed on the door. The installers evidently didn't get that message, but the salesman dropped the attachment plate by my house later after I called about it.

The technician provided 2 options to fix the issue (repair/replace gears or get a new opener). I decided to get a new opener. The technician did not have one in his truck, so he scheduled an appointment to come back the next day. The technician arrived on time the next day and completed the project. The new garage door opener works great and is really quiet.

Company was very good to work with. Appointment with sales person was scheduled in 2 days and doors were installed the beginning of the next week. Salesperson and installer were both helpful in proactively providing useful info about features and tips about their doors and recommended maintenance. Doors look SO much better than what we had before!! It also seems that the air coming into the house when opening the door to the garage is not as hot (in August) as it was, and the bedroom above the garage is not quite as warm, so I think the door insulation will actually have an impact.
