They were nice enough, came out to give estimate and on time for all of that pre-move and showed up pretty much on time the day of the move. The movers were nice albeit several were inexperienced. My biggest complaint is that I packed all the boxes and labeled them very CLEARLY as to where they went in the new home and wrote FRAGILE on several boxes. THEY paid NO attention to any carton markings and stacked heavy items on top of fragile ones when loading. They protected the floors of the house I moved FROM but NOT the floors of the home I moved into. By that time, they were in a hurry and just wanted to be gone. There was some discrepancy with the amount I was quoted and they called to straighten that out. I think the biggest surprise is that I have receive not ONE follow up call to see how the move went and was I satisfied with their services. I rate them as just an average moving company.....nothing special.

Loaded a 5 bedroom house that we'd lived in for 31 years in ~5 hours, took the truck to their facility until we closed the next day, then showed up promptly at noon to unload, and finished in about 4 hours. Polite, friendly, only two minor things were broken, furniture wasn't scratched, they covered the floors, asked before the got a drink of water, I just can't say enough about how impressed we were. Would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again. The owner is very responsive and helpful and instantly put me at ease.

The overall move went well. The agent provided me with a good estimate of the cost for the move, and was very helpful and timely in answering my questions during the entire process. On the Kansas City end, the moving team came on time, were friendly, and loaded the truck without any issues. I felt that they handled the job professionally, and answered my questions, as well as provided me with a detailed inventory of the goods being moved. The load actually weighed less than what was initially estimated, so I saved some money. On the New York end, the load was received within the delivery window. I was given ample notice of the driver's arrival. This was my first experience with professional movers. I did expect the boxes to be stacked so that heavier ones were on the bottom, and lighter ones on top. When the boxes were received, it was evident that this did not happen since some of the boxes had corners crushed in, etc. Although most of the boxes have not been unpacked, I do not think that the contents were damaged in any way. Overall, I was satisfied with the entire experience - particularly with their customer service.

I?ve used professional movers before and knew most of the pitfalls- sadly, my experience with Wilson landed squarely in the middle of the pack. Matt was helpful and usually responded to my replies promptly despite his hectic schedule (he once good-naturedly noted when returning my call at 7:30 PM that he still had 3 hours of work ahead of him). I appreciated the ?not-to-exceed? quote and it was less than I expected. They also didn?t charge us for storage during the time our goods were in their warehouse. Still, their inability to change our move-in date from July 1 to June 29 about a week ahead of time meant we had to spend a couple of extra nights in a hotel. The move started out badly with insufficient staffing on the day they packed our things and it snowballed from there. We started out with two people but the guy (who appeared to be less experienced) had to leave for a 3 PM appointment and he was not replaced. The woman had been there over 10 hours when Ron and I left for the day. She said there would be things the movers would have to pack the next day. I?d left our bottles of wine with a friend knowing that it would deteriorate in a warehouse for a week, but I?d forgotten that they don?t move ANY liquids. They didn?t volunteer this; I just noticed that the liquor cabinet hadn?t been packed. When the packer explained why, I checked the other areas where she?d left things and hadn?t told me: cleaning solutions under all the bathroom sinks, cooking oils, shampoo in the bathroom, bottles of pop in the kitchen cabinets. I looked under the kitchen sink and found it hadn?t been touched. When I pointed this out to the packer, she gave me a deer-in-the-headlights look and said, ?those are liquids?. She clearly hadn?t touched the area, and the rubber gloves, scouring powder, sponges and other items that were NOT liquids hadn?t been packed. I ended up loading 8 boxes of items and carrying them over to the neighbors to keep in their garage. The movers arrived at the late end of the specified time window the next day. (They did bring boxes, which I appreciated; in a move in NJ when I discovered that the packers hadn?t packed things in storage areas the movers just shrugged and said, ?we don?t have boxes?, leaving me to move them myself. ) Still, we had to keep going through rooms and closets and pointing out all the things the movers missed even after they?d closed doors to rooms (likely to indicate that that room was empty). We ended up with piles of unrelated things on several boxes which complicated the unpacking. The actual moving in probably proceeded normally; I expected it to be hectic and it was. A few boxes of books that were labeled to go to my husband's office (upstairs) ended up in my office (downstairs) so there was a lot of carrying things to the right room. A chunk was broken off of a wooden plant stand; I found it a few days later when I mowed the lawn. They made a small dent in the paint in the bedroom when moving an armoire and didn?t point it out; a door they removed from my office to get in a piece of furniture was never replaced. The glass on a photo of our wedding was broken. One box contained family photos and dirt-encrusted gardening tools. I unwrapped one item that had a bulky outer wrapping with multiple layers of the heavy paper used for photos and artwork and found, inexplicably, a single paperback book. They left the pool table (in accordance with our instructions) but moved the large vinyl pool table cover, which we now have to get to the new owners of our house. I believe this move would have gone better with adequate staff to pack our items and clear directions up front (from the person who quotes the job) about what cannot or will not be moved. Both the movers and the packers should either leave rooms and closets totally packed/empty or point out items they won?t be taking and not leave it to the customer to discover. As I noted in the beginning, I?d say Wilson is in the middle of the pack based on my experience and these are areas where they could improve.

They arrived about 1/2 hr. late--no explanation. They moved quickly, and were respectful of my belongings and were careful not to damage floors, corners, etc. When a table had mistakenly(my fault) been packed with the storage items, instead of being moved to the new residence, the "head" mover offered to take it off the truck as it was unloaded at the storage facility and drop it by my house the next day. And he did.

The move went great. The movers were professional, careful and well prepared. They made sure to take every possible precaution with both our houses. They were able to move items that fit by a matter of inches down stairs and through hallways. They worked hard, never wasting a trip. I couldn't be more pleased.

They arrived on time (even early one day!) and packed up a 3+bedroom house over the course of 2 days, loaded our belongings onto the van quickly and efficiently and delivered on time as promised. All items were well taken care of. They were professional and courteous.

I scheduled 2 movers and a 24ft truck. Each time I called I got quick and friendly service. The day of the move Ray called to around 8 to tell me they were running a bit late, they arrived pretty close to 9 but they were ready to work. There were three guys that came to move us. They were quick and efficient even though we are terribly unorganized when it comes to packing. I did ask what we could do to help and there weren't many suggestions until something came up but they were quick to help organize our method and get things moving. We did end up paying for an extra hour to get things completed. The supervisor came to both sites to make sure things were going well and we gave a good report. Ray even played a song on the piano after he got it in place, we thought that was really cool. Most of what they moved came to the new house in good shape. There were some dings on a large dresser where it was strapped down, I was disappointed since my grandfather made the dresser but I wasn't around when they moved it so I didn't see if it was something typical or if it could have been handled better. There was an edge piece off a glass table that came off and was bent (not sure the name for it, like a frame around the glass that sits in the table), it was a cheap frame so I don't know that much could have been done to prevent that damage. They moved a lot of other items so they overall did a good job protecting everything.

The movers had some difficulty finding my apartment but were very prompt about calling and correcting route.

Had an appointment to begin on 8am; which we were ready for. Received a call at 8am, saying they would be about an hour late. Upon arriving, they did get right to work and moved fast. Considering the condition of the old carpet in the apartment, I was not concerned with dirt/mud as they were loading. Even so, they put down minimal floor protection. They were able load most of the items in our apartment about an hour and forty minutes. We then left to go to the house, and they indicated they were stopping to get something to drink on the way over. After arriving at the new location, we waited about 45 minutes before they showed up. They began unloading, again with minimal floor protection, which consisted of only the main entry way, one set of stairs (we have two sets) and no where else in the house. This time however, it is new carpet. They proceeded to unload and moved at a good pace, up until the last 45 minutes. Two of the guys basically took a 45 minute break, while one guy moved a few pieces in and removed the flooring protection. Total actual WORK time at the new location was about an hour and a half. However, I was billed for an additional hour of time at $140 per hour. Total actual work time I estimated, was about three hours and twenty minutes .. tops. I didn't argue with the pricing at the time, as I couldn't remember the exact amount, but I knew $140 sounded high. Secondly, I was not happy they essentially charged me for time they did not work. Even so, I gave them a 15% tip in addition to the bill.

One time flat fee to move one item.Everything went fine. They were professional, and they were on time (actually early) and I would use them again.

The 2 guys that came were absolutely awesome and so incredibly helpful! They got the job done in the time estimated, were extremely professional and friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just as I wanted it. I plan on using this company again the next time I move.

It went fine. the guys that came were professional. they worked hard. they were very respectful. I cant really think of any negative. it did take a little longer than I thought, however we did go to three locations.

There's not much to say unless something goes wrong, and nothing did. These guys did great work and I would use them again.

I also used them also for a cross country trip. I've referred people to them. They did a great job, both times they moved my stuff.

The Wilson representative, Theresa Turner, came to my house and scoped out the work. She recommended four men and one truck and estimated that the job would take seven hours and cost $1,107, which was a not-to-exceed price. The move actually took about six hours, but the company also charges for trip time from its headquarters, so the job did, by their account, take seven hours and cost what Theresa had quoted. The movers showed up 20 minutes late, which was no big deal. The four guys were very courteous and did a credible job of protecting carpets, floors and the furniture. They really hustled and I was impressed by how fast they got things loaded. However, they damaged the threshold of a walk-out basement sliding door, which I pointed out while they were working. I also discovered later that a wooden spindle on a rocking chair was shattered and that the men had wrapped some masking tape around it to hold it in one piece without telling me. I left a phone message with Theresa to discuss the damage and to ask if she wanted to pick up three wardrobe boxes the crew accidentally left behind. She never called back.

They did an excellent job and were very pleasant. No damage to any items moved or to either home. This is the second time we have used them and we would use them again if the need should arise!

The two guy team worked fast & efficiently & were very nice.

We purchased the big deal for 299.00 for three hours. We scheduled the move to include picking up a refrigerator on the way. When movers were still loading the truck 3 hours later we cancelled picking up refrigerator. We suffered some minor damage to a cat tree that we turned in and other things we are just now finding. The gentleman were very nice but, they spent a lot of time in the truck. They were very careful with wrapping everything and taking apart furniture. When questioned they stated they were following company policies. I have used two other hourly metro movers and will return to them. The price per hour may be higher but, they are faster loading and unloading. I was told a third person would have made it much faster, but when I spoke to them about the big deal I wasn't offered the option of a third person.

It was fantastic, superb. I had to reschedule a couple of times, they were very flexible in the rescheduling and adding packing on that we didn't get done. They added additional people, when needed. They were very amendable to working around every aspects of our situation. Very gracious all the way around and very clean. Just outstanding, very thoughtful of our furnishings and the house itself.

Movers picked up furniture from two locations about 15 miles apart and delivered to new house 30 miles away. Groupon was for 3 hours work, I expected them to exceed the 3 hours, the 26 foot truck was packed to the brim, only went over by an hour. I've moved many times for work which was paid for by work, this was on me, did as well if not better than other moves.
