Wilson to be very helpful and responsive to our needs. They were very professional and moved us quickly. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to move.

Description of Work: They were very prompt and friendly. Took great care with all the items they were moving. Everything arrived safely and the set up was as wonderful as the move out.I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone that asked.

Description of Work: We needed some furniture and boxes moved from our house in Liberty to a 10x20 climate controlled storage in Kearney (about a 15-minute drive). The movers arrived on time and with the proper equipment. They were very careful with the items, wrapped those that needed to be wrapped, and followed my suggestions regarding some of the more fragile items. It was a very satisfactory move and very efficient.

Hard working and professional. | |When I called to schedule my move, I walked through my house room by room detailing the furniture and amount of boxes it would need. Since I ended up buying the exact amount of boxes used later, I think I gave a pretty good estimate to the lady on the phone of how much stuff. She told me the number of men/hours/truck she thought I would need. I then added, oh, I forgot about the storage unit. We have an 8x10 unit full to the ceiling. She said the truck size was still fine, but they may take another hour than what she told me, that was fine. | |Soon as the movers got there, they did a walk through and said we were good. Then we told them about the storage unit .It wasn't in the notes and the driver said he would have brought the bigger truck if he'd known. Our house stuff fit, but not the storage. They had to make 2 trips, probably 2 extra hours vs the one I was told, then I was charged a $50 fuel charge because of the extra trip. I was very upset. The extra time, sure, but paying a fuel charge when it wasn't my fault they didn't bring a big enough truck? I think I'll stick to two men and a truck in the future. I've never had any miscommunications with them, they were just booked on the moved date.

Description of Work: The movers were very nice and eager to please. Their attitude was great. But...they did not put down tarps at my old home to protect the hardwood floors and white carpet. They only put down tarps at the new place when the boyfriend asked them to. Several pieces of furniture had paint scratched. Two pole lamps were broken. An antique lamp table was broken. I agreed to touch up the painting myself. They said they would repair the table; they glued it back together but did not replace the piece of wood that was broken off. I have not heard from them with regard to paying for the lamps. The total amount (with the Angie's coupon) was more than they estimated even though between the time they estimated my move and the time they actually moved me, I took several loads to the new place myself. I am very unhappy with these people and would never recommend them or use them again.

Description of Work: I was referred to this company by a personal and business associate. I reached the owner by phone and described my moving project. He commented that a job this small was harder to broker, but he would research it and call me back. He never called me back, nor would he take my calls back to him. What started out as a professionally handled quote inquiry turned into a fairly obvious "blow-off" by a company leader who was not interested in the business.

Description of Work: I called them to help me move 2 desks (3 pieces total) from an apartment to my house. These were pretty pricey desks and I explained it to them before they started moving and they assured me that they would be careful. They sent 3 people total, 2 workers and a driver. The driver also worked and generally took things into his own hands to get it done as well. They got it out of my apartment without an issue and I watched them every step. They used blankets to slide them at first and then got them on a padded dolly. They strapped down the items in the truck and met me at the house. Getting things in the house they used the dolly to go up 8 steps total and didn't have any issues there. When they got items in the room that they were going to they started to get a little rougher but I hadn't noticed any damage yet. | |They finished the job and then I did a quick check of the items because they were trying to get out of there pretty quickly. I tipped each of the workers $20 dollars, thanked them, and sent them on their way. The next day I was working on setting some more things up and noticed quite a few scratches and some extensive wear down on the side that they had been using to slide the furniture. I immediately called and spoke with the receptionist who took note of my name, number, and issue that I had. She mentioned she would have someone call me back as they were all out of the office. I gave it a couple of weeks thinking that they were busy and called back, this time I spoke with someone else and he told me that he would look into it and call me back. This time they called me back pretty quickly and said that he had some other things to do or check on and would reach back out to me. I waited about another week and had to call them again, this time I spoke to the receptionist again and she said he was out of the office but she went in and saw that there was a check written out to me on his desk waiting for a signature. The amount for the check was not nearly what it would cost to have someone come out and repair the damage. She mentioned that they use a flat reimbursement rate based on weight so I asked her to have him call me back as soon as he was available or the next day. That was the last I had heard from them. It's now been 4 months since the job was complete and just under that since I reported the issue and they have made what seems to be very little effort on their part to follow through with me. | |I will say, they were quick to complete the job I asked of them but they did not complete it without damage and very slow to get back to me as well. I would not use this company again and would not recommend them to anyone that was moving something that they were concerned about.
