Moved from apartment to rental. Made the move very smooth. Everything was hassle free.

The two gentlemen providing the service were professional yet friendly, worked very hard and were extremely helpful.

We could not be more pleased with the reasonably priced, professional service they provided. Due to construction delays we had to have our furniture stored for an additional 6 weeks and they did not charge us an exorbitant amount for this service. Theresa and Mark were great to work with and very understanding as we kept having to postpone our delivery date. We had already gotten 2 bids for our move when we found NL Wilson Moving, Inc. on Angie's List. They were just as professional and thorough as the first two companies, and the most reasonably priced. We highly recommend them!

Professional; efficient and courteous. I?ve dealt with many moving companies in my life and this was the best experience. Rosie contacted me quickly and set up the date and time. The movers called to let me know they were on their way to meet me at the storage place and even arrived a little early. The men were great; asked a few questions and got right to work. They were extremely careful loading and extra careful with the unloading. During the loading I made a comment about one of the boxes, that it was an item that my sister was waiting for and, was so surprised when one of the movers asked upon unloading, if I wanted him to set the box to the side. There was over a hundred cartons and for him to remember a comment in passing was extremely thoughtful. They worked non-stop and at the end, each man thanked ME and shook my hand. I would absolutely recommend N L Wilson Moving & Transfer, especially my crew and would use their services again.

We ordered the service through Angie's List due to a promotion they were running and their Angie's List score. We did have a few troubles communicating after purchasing the service and the moving date but once I called them directly - everything was smooth sailing. We were able to get the date and time (several weeks out) we wanted, and they called in advance to confirm. They showed up right on time and ready to go. We walked through the house with them and pointed out several items that needed to stay behind. They very efficiently packed all of our things (3 bedroom / 1500 sq ft / raised ranch) in about 2 hours. They were able to unload it all in about an hour and a half and took great care to protect moldings, corners, and our new hardwood floors when placing the items where directed. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend others to use them as well.

The crew arrived punctually and ready to work. One man spoke English, the other seemed to understand a little though he never spoke (to my knowledge). The contact prior to the move was professional and courteous. The men worked straight through and though I live on a fixed income and was unable to tip them they did not seem upset or angry about that as others have in the past. All in all, they did good work, protected our belongings well, and I would recommend them to friends and neighbors.

It went great. Absolutely no complaints. Everyone was very helpful and professional. They answered all of my questions prior to the move and returned my calls promptly. Nothing was damaged or lost during the move. I will definitely use them again.

While moving in the refrigerator, they caused several large gouges in the kitchen doorframe. One or two, I can understand, but there were about 5 or 6. Easy enough to fix with a little wood filler and paint. Every box that contained fragile stuff was plainly marked on the side of each box. Several fragile boxes were found. Slightly crushed due to much heavier boxes being stacked on top of them. Only lost one item due to breakage. Another issue was not found until two days later, the refrigerator was not cooling it's contents like it should. My mother-in-law called an appliance repair man(out of pocket cost $80(I believe)). The problem was a piece of packing material was not removed once the referigerator was hooked up. Removed the packing material, referigerator works perfectly. The movers did have an issue getting the referigerator into the kitchen, the door had to be taken off to accomplish this task. Problems was, the movers had no tools of any kind. My mother-in-law went to hardware store to get the tool she was told was needed. Tool would not fit, she was told to go back and get different size. Her response was that she would go back, but one of them had to go with her so they could pick out the right tool. I have moved numerous times in my military career and never once had a moving company showed up without a toolbox, at the very least, she should be reimbursed for the service call to the appliance repair man.

DO I REALLY NEED BEG and spend that much time to get them to give me the estimate they came all the way to my house to calculate? I liked them so much in the beginning I kept talking my husband into using them... BUT I don't even have an estimate from them so forget it!!

They are customer focused, prompt and have good service.

I have spoke with them a few times and each interaction has been great, Teresa is coming out on August 2nd and I can't wait to meet her!

The company came out and given estimates and set up a date and time of the move. However the company did not show up on the date and time of the move. They said it was not scheduled properly. We ended up getting a U-Haul.

I cannot begin to describe how satisfied we were with the services provided by NL Wilson Moving during my mother's move. She was downsizing from a three bedroom home in the Red Bridge area to a one bedroom apartment in Overland Park. She had to be out of her home for about a week before her apartment was available, so it was necessary to store her belongings for that period, then move them to the apartment. Basically requiring two moves of her furniture and other items. We purchased two Deals for $299 for two men for three hours, one for each move. The scheduling was handled very smoothly with the office personnel. The movers, Zach and Thurston, arrived promptly at the scheduled time and were extremely conscientious and courteous. My mother was 85 years old at the time of the move and I cannot thank Zach and Thurston enough for the kindness and patience they showed throughout both moves. The initial move was packing up the entire house of furniture and boxed belongings. Large pieces of furniture were carefully wrapped and packed into the truck. The guys were personable and friendly while maintaining a pace that got the job done quickly and efficiently. Her belongings were moved to NL Wilson's storage facility for approximately a week and then moved to her new apartment. Again, the scheduling was done at our convenience and met every thing we needed. We were happy that Zach and Thurston were back again for the second move, as working with them was a pleasure. Zach told me they had personally unloaded the truck at the storage facility to make sure things were taken care of. The move into the apartment was again efficient. The patience they showed in unpacking was amazing. They treated my mom like she was theirs. Fitting in the furniture from a fairly large home into a fairly small apartment was not an easy task, yet the guys did their best to get everything to fit and get it where we asked. Even with two moves, there was no damage to any items. In a somewhat stressful situation, NL Wilson and Zach and Thurston were a breath of fresh air. Professional, comptetent, and caring, they really delivered service that went above and beyond even our highest expectations. I would not hesitate to highly recommend NL Wilson Moving and they will definitely be the first mover I would call for my next move.

I was disappointed that they could not provide the move within my needed time frame but they said it would not be a problem to obtain a refund.

We decided to move on our own, but would definitley use this company in the future. They were very friendly and accommodating.

They did it quickly and inexpensively. We were very pleased with them.

It took my husband and his brother to carry the TV from the garage to the basement but the guys who came just picked it up with one hand. They were professional and wonderful. I would use them in an instant.

This is the third time I have used NL Wilson and they are always fabulous. Their prices are reasonable and the two men are always professional and extremely helpful. They even moved some furniture around in the house to make room for new pieces which was not part of the original move. They took only one small break and worked straight through. They always do the best job protecting the furniture and making suggestions on how things should be moved.

Set up appointment. Took time off work to be there. They never showed. Called several times. They couldn't care less that nobody showed was the impression I got from Teresa, the woman I last spoke to.

I had staged a significant portion of the house inside the garage. I also sold a significant amount of furniture prior to moving. That being said there was still a lot of stuff that needed loaded and brought to the truck . In the begining of the move we were uncertain that we would fit all of our belongings. At the very end we got every single thing into the truck with about 1/4" of room to close the back door. Everything rode well enough to the destination. I only had one piece of furniture break but i am not surpised given how it was constructed. I would say this mover was quick, efficient and effective. I think start to finish it was about 2 hours, I would guess if I hadn't move things into our garage it would still have only taken about 3-4 hours.

This company was wonderful, accommodating all the needs we had and doing so very professionally. They handled all our family items which were valuable to us with respect and great care. I would trust them with any move. Particularly helpful in that they can do local moving and also long distance. So glad we got them off Angie's List

Went very well. On time the day scheduled. Completed move in less time estimated (about 6 hours). Movers were all professional, friendly and respectful. Supplied a light breakfast and lunch...at least I could do for a job well done! Dealt with Matt Drier for original estimate, any questions I may have had and to get us the boxes needed. Very professional and extremely easy to work with. Would recommend with no hesitation.
