+ -1 moreHORRIBLE. DO NOT HIRE Molly Maid showed up on time with 3 young women, one who was introduced as a trainee. We have never seen such slow moving lazy people. They complained that the home was too large (6100 sq ft). This is why we had ordered a crew rather than a single cleaner. They were completely ineffective. After 3 of the 4 hours, they were asked to leave and we finished the cleaning ourselves. The "trainee" was hopeless and couldn't follow directions from her peer who spent most of the time "teaching". "This is how you dust: left to right." But we still paid almost $400 for the little work that they did. The original quote was for $550. We were given a "discount" because we were not satisfied. WE WOULD NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. In fact, we are so turned off of maid services, we will likely never hire another service to clean for us.
Description of Work: We were preparing to put our home on the market. The home was empty and had been recently painted, floor refinished and carpet was in the process to be deep cleaned in preparation for showing. Important items were dusting, bathroom cleaning and kitchen cleaning. No carpets or floor cleaning since they were freshly refinished/cleaned. This was a fairly simple job. The place was neat but dusty and simply needed a deep cleaning of plumbing fixtures, bathroom mirrors, kitchen appliances and counters and dusting of blinds and horizontal surfaces.

Description of Work: Molly Maid cleans our house on a monthly basis. We have a regular cleaning crew who is there 90% of the visits and does a fantastic job. Someone is usually home when they are there, and the ladies are friendly, happy and efficient. We get a reminder call the Friday before each scheduled cleaning, which I appreciate, and they are very flexible with the scheduling, like when we are out of town or need to move a scheduled cleaning date. I know that each Molly Maid is run a little differently, and friends have had different results with other area businesses, but I HIGHLY recommend this particular branch.

+ -1 moreWe have worked with them for 2 years and absolutely love them. they are kind, courteous, thoughtful, responsible, reliable, and frequently go out of their way on small touches (e.g., noticing that folding chairs should go back in the garage because our event is over and proactively doing that). We love seeing Kim and Rosa each week. Their work is a huge help to the stress level in our family and marriage. thank you, thank you, thank you!

+ -1 moreMy experience with them was fine, and I had no problems at all. I wasn't here when they came, but my husband was here. My husband was fine with them. He had to tell them to go over one area on the floor again because he thought they had missed it, but otherwise, they were on time and did a decent job. I thought they were a little pricey. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

+ -1 moreI was moving out of my apartment, I hate the whole experience of moving, but the old place clean up has to be the worst. I got the bright idea of having it hired done but it was such short notice..... I called Molly Maids, they said it was not a problem. They arrived before me, let themselves in and started working. The two women were very sweet and finished in record time. Highly, highly dependable, reliable and friendly. I think I'll chedule them on a monthly basis.
Description of Work: I was moving out of my apartment. I hate to move, I hate the whole experience. But as everyone knows cleaning the old place is one of the worst parts. I decided - the day before - that I was just going to have it hired done. I called Molly Maids of Overland Park and explained my plight. I told the Molly Maids coordinator who answered the phone that I knew it was short notice but she just said that it was not a problem, that they would make it work. I gave her instructions on the areas I knew needed special attention and we agreed on a price, which I felt was very reasonable, When I arrived at the apartment the next morning, two women from Molly Maids were already there. I had left the door unlocked since the place was empty so they let themselves in and started working. They finished in record time, everything looked great! (Probably better then I would have done) I would highly recommend Molly Maids!!!! I need to have them clean my new place, on a regular basis.

+ -1 moreThey had come out with a few other house cleaning companies. I did not like the personality of the gentleman who came out to give the estimate. It was like he had his nose in the air. His demeanor was not good. That was just a personal feeling.

+ -1 moreThey were very responsive, calling me the day after I submitted an e-form online. They scheduled me quickly and I was very pleased with the result. The initial quote was right on. I have since scheduled this company to do my housecleaning every other week. The charge for this service was a little higher than originally quoted, but not worth quibbling over. So far, I am very pleased. The ladies are polite and personable, but stick to the work without a lot of conversation. I am paying for time actually spent working on my home. Very glad to have found this company.
Description of Work: My home was in need of a good cleaning. Since I have been experiencing arthritis in my hip, I find it impossible to do this kind of work. So, I needed to find a good, reliable service. I was not particularily interested in an individual because of insurance and tax issues.
