Excellent service.

Rob was great! he did everything i asked of him and was professional the whole way through. He spent much more time than i expected because he does it right the first time. I believe i would have spent much more money if i had used another company and probably would not have the same outcome. Rob is a bit of a perfectionist, which i love! He even followed up with me to make sure i was completely happy. I will be using Longwire again when i upgrade my system and add a home media server. Thanks Rob!

Rob Long came to our house and gave us a quote for mounting our 42 inch tv over the fireplace mantle in our family room and also for mounting the tv in our bedroom on the wall. Rob was punctual, always showed up when he was supposed to, and was able to come out a few days after he gave us a quote to perform the services. Mounting the tv over the fireplace involved quite a bit of rewiring and cabling, and also installing a new outlet in that area of our family room. This took about 3 hours, and Rob worked very hard to get our TV in just the right place, and also to make sure none of the wires or cables showed. It looks amazing! We had also planned to run cable to a different area of our bedroom, and mount our tv on the wall. However, Rob discovered that because of the way our TV was made, there was no way to mount it without buying an adapter which proved impossible to find, although Rob tried very hard to reach the manufacturer. In the end we decided just to have him run the cable and to set the tv on a small chest. I think he was more disappointed than we were, however the tv looks great where it is and we are quite happy with it. Rob then adjusted the price on the quote to subtract the cost of the labor and bracket for the bedroom tv. The cost was very reasonable! All in all, working with Rob was a complete pleasure. We would highly recommend Longwire to everyone.

Rob is the owner of the company. He is the one who answered the call and the one who came out to complete the job. He first came out to look at the job and then emailed my bid. I felt that the bid was very fair for both of us. He scheduled the service within one week. He had one person with him, to assist with the job. Rob was very professional, efficient with his time, and very accurate on his bid. The completed project was very professional in appearance He was also very conscientious about cleaning up after himself (ie. vacuuming up any residual debri). I would highly recommend him for any electronic wiring needs He is also certified to install special remote control blinds, which I may consider inquiring about someday in the future.

Overall, everything was great. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Everything was done just as they said they would. They also held to the quote they originally sent me. I had no problems with them whatsoever and found the people that were working on the project were somewhat passionate about what they were doing, which I found quite refreshing.

He was great. The price was reasonable, he worked quickly, and got everything done well. He said next time he is in the neighborhood he can come by and clean up some wires.

Perfect. Rob came out and helped me decide exactly how I should set things up. I tend to rely on professionals to recommend what would work best. His imput and recommendations were great. He sent a quote out promptly. We agreed on price and came out to complete the work. I've had a difficult time finding an audio company to do things right and at a fair price. Rob does great work and is also fair. He was at my house for most of a day. Instead of rushing to complete the job when time was short, he came back the next day to explain everything to me. I really can't say enough good things about the level of service that was provided.

We found Rob's info on Angie's list and were impressed by his reviews. We called and set up a time for an estimate. Rob was on time and emailed a very fair estimate. The work was completed in a very professional way with excellent attention to detail!!! I was able to add a new cable outlet in our garage, place a cat 5 and cable outlet near my computer in the basement, I also now have my living room look like a rock star!!! Very impressed!!! Do yourself a favor and call Longwire before you try and do it yourself!

We have a new flat screen tv that is mounted above a fireplace. Our electrician who installed the outlet above the fireplace told us there was no way to hide the cable wires behind the wall. I found Longwire on Angie's list and Rob came out to look at the situation. He assured us that the wires could be hidden and also suggested installing an infrared remote system so our cable box would be hidden as well. He came back a few days later and installed the infrared and hide the wires - did a great job!! Rob was very professional, prompt, neat and also really affordable compared to other companies that we called. He even followed up with a phone call to make sure we were happy with the way everything was working, which we are! Great job, would highly recommend.

He came out ahead of time to look at the layout of the room and then scheduled a follow-up appointment for the installation. He was right on time and called ahead to let us know he was on the way. In all our dealings with Rob he has been very professional and attentive to our needs. We highly recommend him.

I was introduced to Longwire through one of Angie's List big deals. Rob was very professional and punctual from start to finish. He first came by my home to look at my home theater setup and see where I was wanting to hang my tv. We then scheduled the actual service appointment for the following week. Rob was very accommodating and even came early to the appointment when I got called into work on a last minute meeting. My wife and I are extremely happy. Rob did a great job and cleaned up after himself well. We especially love how he ran all of our cables through our wall for a very clean look. We would highly recommend Rob and his company to anyone.

I took advantage of "Angie's Big Deal" when I purchased this service to install my flat screen tv at 50% off the regular price but it would have been worth the full $300.00. Rob was extreemly professional and did a great job. He went above the call of duty when he offered to help move my furniure and hook up my dvd player. He was neat and very considerate of my sleeping infant. He even worked well with my barking dog. I will use him again!

I was referred to Rob Long with Longwire from a friend that just raved about the quality of work Rob had recently done for her installing a new surround sound system in there home. Rob was as good as advertised. He was on time, extremely professional, and I was particularly impressed with the finished product. The way he hid the excess wires and bundled them together was much better than I expected based on the way some of my neighbors wiring looked after they had paid the Geek Squad to install their TV. Overall great experience, and I would highly recommend Rob to anyone.
