Jorge Jimenez Drywall

I was impressed with Jorge's responsiveness to a bid request as he came out on the same day and had a number for me before leaving. He was able to start within a week. His guys were always on time (or early) and were extremely polite. You immediately could tell these guys knew what they were doing. It took a 2 man crew 6 long work days to complete my project. I was extremely happy w the results. JJ Drywall will be the only # I dial for my next project. If I had to list one area that could use improvement, it would be their attention to cleanup after each day when working at an occupied location. Drywall work is the messiest job in a remodel, so not expecting miracles. Maybe just a little better spot sweeping/vacuuming at the end of each day. (In their defense, I never stressed this was important)

Jorge and his assistant did an excellent job. They showed up exactly when they said they would every time. Their skill level at drywall finishing is ridiculously high. They used special drywall compound that cures in 5 minutes, so they did all of the coats one after the next, in less then 2 hours total. Jorge came back the next day and did a small amount of sanding, and the job was complete, and looked excellent. I recommend this contractor very highly.

Jorge is responsive, courteous and fast. The quality of his work (and his crew) is top notch.

Jorge did an amazing job on our project. I called for an estimate and within one hour he was at our house and gave a great price. It went great. Jorge was there to give me a quote an hour after I called. He was back to do the job an hour after that since he needed to get some materials. You can't even tell that I tried to do some of the work on my own. Fast, efficient, and his work looks great. Would highly recommend.

Our basement flooded due to a sewer back-up. Following the emergency restoration work, we were faced with replacing drywall and trim that were contaminated in the event. I checked "Angie's List" and noted that Mr. Jimenez had received very high ratings by Angie's List clients. Following our original contact, Mr. Jimenez was extremely prompt in providing an estimate. We chose him to do our work and it was EXCEPTIONAL! He was prompt and professional in way. His work is exemplary. He gave us a bid to complete the painting and we ABSOLUTELY will use him. Mr. Jimenez's work and commitment to the delivery of a professional service is beyond excellent.

Jorge was amazing! I have never seen anyone work so fast. His work is beautiful and he managed to fit our job in within just 2 days of our estimate. I am so HAPPY! I wish we had met Jorge years ago. I'm actually calling him again today for another job.

Jorge and his team were fast, professional, and detail oriented. They cracked out the two rooms in under half a day with follow up visits to mud and sand.

Jorge is very friendly and a man of his word. His crew worked in the evening to avoid me from having to take time off of work. He does quality work and a standup guy. I am very impressed and I am sure you will be too.

Jorge showed up and gave me a bid for the work promptly. He and his crew completed the work in a timely matter and communicated with me whenever he was going to have his crews show up. He left the work area clean after the work was completed and told me to let him know if anything wasn't done to my satisfaction and if it wasn't that he would fix it. Jorge is honest and will get the job done in a timely fashion. He shows up when he says he will and gets the job done fast.

It was an awesome experience. We were honestly nervous about hiring anyone for this because we have always fixed our own drywall (even though we are terrible at it), and especially because it can be such a mess. But Jorge was very thoughtful about everything, including containing the mess. It was impressive how little sanding he had to do, which is telling of his outstanding ability to properly mud. When we did our own drywall, there was always so much dust. He built little plastic "caves" around the areas he worked, and the clean-up was super easy. In fact, we loved the paper paths he laid in our house so much that we asked him to leave them for when we painted (we did our own painting). He was concerned about not cleaning up entirely because he takes a lot of pride in his clean up, but we really wanted the paper paths. He offered to come back if we found anything that needed touch up, but so far it looks perfect. Very fast, professional, detailed, courteous, and hard working. I would definitely hire him again.

The job went extremely well. Jorge worked around our remodel schedule and did the work for what we felt was an extremely fair price. It looks great. His crew is great about prep work and cleanup as well. There was a very small detail that *I* missed when I checked it out and he replied promptly when I told him about it and said he'd be back to fix it in the time frame we need. We will definitely hire again if we need drywall work and I'll share his number with any of my friends who are looking for drywall contractors.

It was a small job but Jorge responded quickly to our bid request and treated it like it was a big job. His estimate was very, very reasonable. The day of the job, he called to let us know he was coming and when he arrived was careful to put down drop cloths to ensure the floors stayed clean. The results exceeded our expectations. You can't tell the ceiling was ever damaged and even the new popcorn texture blends well with the undamaged area. Outstanding work! I would recommend Jorge for any of your drywall needs. If his work on our small project is any indication, he'll surely do a great job on bigger projects, too. We own an old Victorian house in the heart of Kansas City that constantly needs attention. when i went to attic to investigate suspecious sound on a windy day, guess what, bad move. A little misstep and howling wind swayed my concentration else where and i stepped on sheetrock. After having multiple quotes we hired Jorge to work on our loft. Jorge Jimenez and his cousin Abel worked on our loft ceiling. They arrived bit earlier on Saturday morning as planned. They had to cut out sheetrock ceiling where it was damaged (4x5) feet. They did prep work together; thereafter, Jorge left for other work but it was one man job; so Abel worked from 9am to 5pm with a lunch break during afternoon. On Sunday they advised us to carry on with selected paint which was preplanned ready and purchaed by me from Lowe's. Color was Greek Villa white from Sherman Williams. He was to bring his primer and use my purchased paint, but lady at Lowe's created prime and paint together. So Jorge benefitted, and i did not mind to buy 2 gallons at $110. On Sunday they arrived on time at 9 am and finished all paint, corner caulking, remove prep work, clean up, vacuum carpet with their shop vac. Funny, i forgot to give them central vacuum but they did not ask or complain. They also cleaned up floor steps and front door area as much as they can. I said i will pressure wash the rest on side walk and driveway. So that was it. All for $800 service chrage with their equipments and mudding etc.. Rest was out of my pocket to rent a blower fan from Home Depot for one day and a paint from Lowe's. Here are pictures. Thank you Jorge and Abel, your work is amazing. 🤝😀

Jorge was extremely responsive and provided a competitive price. He was able to come out fairly quickly and completed the job beautifully, matching the popcorn texture. We noticed that the plaster had bubbled some (probably because it was rainy and humid that day). We took a pic of the bubbling and texted to Jorge and he came out quickly to fix the issue. Overall, great work and would highly recommend him to others!

Jorge and his associate were punctual and very professional in the work performed. This is the second time I have used his services and highly recommend his company.

I scheduled an appointment twice and both times a no call no show. He tried to reschedule but after 2 times what's the point? Not sure about quality of work but as far as professionalism i was disappointed.

Jorge set up a 5pm meeting time on the same day that I called for an estimate. He showed up on time, talked to me about the job I wanted a bid on, took measurements and submitted his bid while at my home. Of the four estimates I received, he was far less expensive than two of the bids and only slightly more expensive than one. I explained the time frame that I was hoping to have the work done. Jorge showed up when he said he would to do the work (I was out of town) and spent two days doing the work described. He called me with updates of how the job was going. I returned home and was very pleasantly surprised to find an excellent job done. Jorge had called me with concerns about the baseboard and we agreed to meet the day after I came home. When we met, he explained the poor condition of the baseboard and we agreed to replace it altogether. He stayed at my home until 8pm that evening to cut and fit all the baseboard and paint it as well. WOW! I will recommend Jorge to friends & family and also in my business when customers ask me about drywall repair recommendations. This was a very pleasant experience!

True to his word, Jorge showed up on a Saturday morning and finished up the next day. He even helped me with a couple of electrical problems. The finished walls look great, even better than I expected. Jorge was easy to work with and did excellent work. I would highly recommend him if you need any drywall work.
