We had a very good experience with Johnson County Windows and Siding. The installer was very professional, arriving on our scheduled day at the correct time. The installer cleaned up after himself and even took the time to reinstall all of our wood blinds once his installation was complete, which I don't think all installers do. We have already recommended this company to a few friends and plan to use this company again in the future. We only replaced half of the windows in our house due to cost but plan to replace the remaining original windows next year. It took approximately 8 weeks once we signed our contract to get our windows. I've heard this has been the case with most reputable installers in the area, however. Recent storms have been keeping everyone busy. The installer came out the Friday before Labor Day weekend. He wasn't able to finish in one day, but we were impressed and thankful that he took the time out of his holiday to finish up his work Saturday and Monday of Labor Day weekend. I would recommend this company to my family and friends.

Don Ebertine was our "project manager/salesman" who was a joy to work with in deciding what all needed to be done to repair the storm damage, and what materials we could/should/wanted to use; he was very knowledgeable and most helpful throughout this project. Johnson County Siding & Windows has a large inventory of siding materials from which to choose and they install everything that they sell. Our crew arrived each and every day between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m., ready for a full day's work. Every day the crew worked at least 10 hours and the weather never deterred them, even though the majority of the time they worked for us the heat index was 100+. One day we had some intermittent showers, but they stayed throughout the rain, breaking only for short periods of time when the rain was coming down heavily -- but they never left the job. Our crew lead - "Rosie" - did a beautiful job on the steel fascia work -- he was a perfectionist and it shows in the finished product! The entire crew did a most professional job and they all know what they are doing. Our home looks brand new, thanks to Johnson County Siding & Windows' expertise, and we believe that the value of our home has increased accordingly with what was spent to bring it back to undamaged standards -- it looks great! Thank you, Johnson County Siding & Windows! We would always be more than happy to give a reference to anyone who needs it, and we would welcome any "drive-bys". The proof is in the finished product!

I was concerned that 15yr exposure to the elements would have caused fading and make the new sides obviously different from the old sides. Bill Christie assured me the color would match. He was right. He uses quality products and there is no difference in color (old & new). I was notified when supplies would be delivered and when work would begin. The crew that worked on my house were skilled professionals. They worked diligently & efficiently. They were pleasant and polite. They even wiped off any dirt marks after the siding was installed. Clean-up was done with as much diligence as installation. Bill Christie stopped by after the workers had finished & left to inspect the work and make sure I was satisfied. Jo Co Siding & Window may not be the cheapest company in town, but the quality of materials and workmanship is worth every cent. I have recommended this company to relatives who were equally pleased with the work in the past and would highly recommend them today.

I had been looking for over a year for someone that would commit to this job but for some reason could never get anyone to give me a serious estimate. Once I started working with Don Eberting, he quickly gave me an accurate estimate for exactly the work I wanted done and completed the job quickly and it looks great! I will probably have them return in the near future to replace more windows.

Justin and I had a time for an estimate, but a thunderstorm complex was passing the area the morning he was to show up. He called and canceled, which is OK. But, as a month later, I never heard back from him to reschedule.

I called and left a message for an estimate. The salesperson, Justin, called me back, came to my house within a couple of days and gave me a bid for replacing all of the windows in my house. I had other companies give me bids and decided to go with Johnson County Siding and Window. The windows were ordered. 2-3 weeks later the windows were installed. The installers were very pleasant, showed up every morning and carefully installed the windows. It took about 4-5 days. We are very satisfied with the job that was done.

The crew of 3 showed up on time, as scheduled. Did their work quickly and efficiently. After the installation was completed, they cleaned up inside and out, replaced curtains and blinds and re-position furniture that had to be moved. They did a great job, were friendly and knew their business.

Crew worked long hours in freezing weather and snow, but remained careful, cheerful and punctual. Salesman came back periodically to monitor the quality and progress of the job. Crew foreman spoke english and was easy to communicate with.

I feel like I got a brand new house! I am very happy with the work that was done. The crew was always on time, very polite, and the work was excellent. Just about every day a manager or owner came by to check and see how the work was going, and I always felt like my home was in good hands. I made the right choice when I chose Johnson County Siding.

I had received estimates on having windows replaced, number to be based on affordability. I received quote from Justin, which was very reasonable and decided to have 7 windows replaced. The installer, Bob, was very professional and did a wonderful job. I am pleased with the final product and will hire them again as the need arises.

They did a good job and followed through very well. When I had any issues they would come out and follow through right away. My interaction with them was fine. I didn't have any problems with them.

I was not very proud how the outside of my house looked prior to this job. It is now the nicest looking in the neighborhood (IMO). I had extensive wood rot that was professionally repaired/replaced. The job took longer than anticipated, but that was do solely to weather. Started mid February. The first time I met the owner, Bill Christie, he spent 4-5 hours with me going over the job and visiting other houses he had done. Including, the very first house he had re-sided. The site boss, Juan, was extremely professional, courteous and easy to discuss any questions I had.

Overall, very good experience. Johnson County Window & Siding was very knowledgeable in their product and provided solid recommendations to us on product offerings. Sales process was informative and low pressure. The installation crew was friendly and thorough, and installed in poor weather. Work performed appears to be very well done.

Working with Bill Christie was very easy and I would tell him of ideas I liked and he tossed his expertise into place and helped me pick out the perfect hardware,colors and style that would add value and beautify my home more. Plus get rid of the drafty windows and doors that were raising my utilities every month I delayed. Ed who does door installs was extremely fast and effeciant. He even helped install an alarm sensor that was on the previous door to the new one. Bill who installs windows was equally quick and did an expert job replacing 5 windows extremely well. I elt extremely comfortable leaving either craftsmen alone in the house as I didnt feel the need to stay and hover. I

Bill Cristy, the owner, spent so much time with us explaining the products, the procedure, time it will take. He measured and remeasured our house, took us around the house and explained what all would be done. After getting 3 estimates, it was a clear choice to go with JO. CT. Siding. Bill gave us a very detailed estimate and a timeline for getting the work done. During installation, his crew was always on time, only took time off for lunch, and were extremely professional. During the installation, Bill came by everyday and walked around the house checking on the crew's work. He was extremely particular and as a result, his men did an excellent job. After they finished, he came back and took us around to examine the work. There were a couple of things that needed to be done (an outdoor light that needed to be reinstalled..very minor. One of the crew was out immediately to put it up. We were extremely pleased with the work that Jo. Ct. Siding did for us. There were NO problems with them not showing up, leaving early, leaving a mess or anything. It is without reservation that we recommend Bill Cristy and Johnson County Siding and Windows

We met with their salesman, Don Eberting and agreed to the scope and the amount for the work. He was very knowledgeable, low pressure and easy to work with. The work started about a month after signing the contract, which was about as they predicted. Don called and said they would be delivering materials in 1 or 2 days. First the materials, a dumpster and a work trailer was delivered. The next day the workers arrived. The whole project took about a week. The workers were professional and courteous. The Foreman helped us out by letting us paint the new fascia in the garage before they installed it since it was too cold to paint outside and needed to be painted before the new guttering was installed. When the work was almost complete, Don came back out and checked everything over and to be sure that we were happy with the results. After they finished they picked up all remaining materials and scrap.

They did a great job - beginning to end. They came out and measured each window and provided a detailed quote. The work was performed exactly as promised. The price was higher than some others but the work was definitely higher quality. All work looks very professional. They also clad two other windows so that they matched the new windows. Everything was cleaned up nicely including cleaning the new glass.

Bill Christie came to our home to provide an estimate for our remodel, and we instantly felt comfortable with Bill. He provided samples of his products, told us about his construction techniques and standards, and encouraged us to research the industry and compare other suppliers. Bill's crew showed up promptly every morning and were very pleasant. As the construction progressed, I was given timely updates, suggestions for replacing outside lighting/house numbers/roof flashing, and my questions were professionally addressed. Upon completion of the construction, Bill walked the exterior of our residence with us, and we were just amazed at the quality of the products and the installation. We have a new house again.

Johnson County Siding recently installed vinyl siding and several windows on my house. It was completed in approximately two weeks. The salesperson, Bill Christie, was excellent, no high-pressure sales, and explained everything in detail. Their pricing was competitive with other bids received. Workmanship quality was #1 with very meticulous installers during the entire project. Overall, my family and I are very pleased with the total project and would recommend them to anyone. My 35-year old house has been transformed into a "new" house!

Original estimate was given on Sept 8. Cost was competitive with others. Actually work started in early October and was completed in 2 weeks. The three-man crew was hard working, competent, friendly and totally professional. There were only a few very minor problems and these were rapidly rectified. I believe these people did a very good job at a very good price.

I initially met with Bill to get an estimate of cost for the work that I wanted done. He was very professional and thorough with explaining options and the process of installation. He spent a great deal of time making calculations needed to come up with a reasonable bid. I was notified a couple of days in advance of when the work would actually begin. Roger and his crew arrived on time on the first day and even earlier on the following days. Because I have an older home, they had to lay down sheets and set up barriers to handle lead-based paint issues. It took three days to complete the siding project and to install the windows. I had some issues about how some fixtures were installed, but they corrected the problems quickly to my satisfaction. The gutter work was contracted to another company and they completed their work in less than one day. I am delighted with the job that JoCo Siding did on giving me a brand new home!

The entire process was excellent from beginning to end. The salesman was great and very helpful. He did not push and allowed us the time we needed to make our decision. The installation crew was amazing. They were extremely easy and pleasant to work with and they went above and beyond to provide superior service. We would highly recommend this company to everyone! Our home looks wonderful and we are extremely happy with everything!

Extremely pleased with the whole experience. We were assured we didn't pay until we were completely satisfied... Unlike other remodeling projects we have done, we didn't have to worry. Job was done to perfection. No delays, great communication and price comparable to other companies. I would definitely recommend this company and their products to others.

We set up our consultation with Don Eberting of JoCo Siding (JoCo). Don was on time and displayed a proficient knowledge of the windows and siding business. He walked us through the various options that JoCo could provide including vinyl, cement board and cedar siding. Given we live in a 1940's Cape Cod with limited insulation, we decided to go with the CertainTeed Cedar Boards, as they not only provide superior resistance to color fading and damage from hail, but they would give the home an addition R-value of 4 with the attached foam insulation. Don and I walked through each phase of the project and detailed our conversation on the contract/work order (very important to do!). When the siding crew showed up at our home, it was all hands on deck. Our crew manager Roger (Rosy) was a certified CertainTeed installer and was very friendly. Rosy and his crew showed up on time each day and were diligent workers. Someone was always walking the grounds cleaning up debris and scraps. The yard was always clean at the end of the day. Landscaping Note: If you plan on doing work in the summer, be prepared for damage to your lawn and any plants close to the house. Even though the crew cleaned up all debris throughout the day, our lawn experienced significant compaction damage from the 2-day demolition. In addition, our plants along side the house experienced some damage. In order to comply with Lead Based Paint laws, the crew had to lay a tarp at least 10 ft from the foundation of the house. The combination of i) direct sun; ii) temperature in the mid-90s; and iii) debris on the tarp; the lawn and plants along the foundation were burnt. At the end of each day I would walk the property with Rosy, going over what was completed and the work left to be done. During this time I asked questions and pointed out any concerns. At the end of the next day, my concerns or issues were always addressed. Rosy and the crew were detailed during the installation of the project. We were especially pleased with the soffit, fascia and trim work. It was completed with detail and care and looks fantastic. In addition, when the crew came across wood rot, they always took pictures on their cell phones, which they were able to email me at the end of the day. At the end of the project, our sales representative Don came back to the house. We walked the entire property and discussed any details or adjustments that needed to be made. During our walk I pointed out some issues I had with the gutter installation (which was contracted out by JoCo) which included the slope of one gutter on the longest run, as well as one missing down spout. Don called the installer the next day and the issue was cleared within two days. My wife and I are thrilled with the final product. Everyone on our street comments on the fine job JoCo did on our house. As with any renovation however, you have to be your own advocate. Don't be afraid to walk the property each day with your project manager and discuss any issues you have. In addition, lay out all details (no matter how small) on the contract. This is your blueprint and your scope of work and is there for your protection and peace of mind.

We called JCSW to discuss options for eliminating cracks in our stucco. We met with Bill Christie and decided on a Canyon Stone fa?ade, Carriage garage doors, and Arcadia columns on the front porch. Bill met us at the Stone showroom where he easily answered all our technical & design questions. The work was performed timely and there was no evidence of their hard work except a beautiful finished product! Bill Christie did a phenomenal job from start to finish organizing workers to keeping us apprised of the progress. We highly recommend Bill Christie and JCSW for a quality finished product.
