Our insurance agent recommended Infinity Roofing. Jason came by and gave me a fair estimate. Within a week the crew came and installed the new roof in one day. A minor mistake was immediately corrected and the roof looks absolutely super. The house has never looked so good. Love it!

After hail damage to our roof, we called several roofers for estimates. Based on price, details provided by the salesman, and Angie's List we chose Infinity Roofing. Our salesman, Jonathan Quinn, thoroughly explained all options available and kept us informed of all details of the process. There was a wait time of a couple of months before work could begin, since so many houses had been damaged. When roofing day arrived, supplies were delivered to our roof and to a convenient spot (for us) on our driveway. Panels of plywood were placed around the house to protect windows, siding, and landscaping. Workers worked hard from dawn to dusk daily. They were professional and cleaned up every day. We were impressed with how quickly the work was done and also how clean our yard and driveway were afterwards. In December, we finally had enough rain to and quot;testand quot; the roof. There was a little leak in the corner of one of the skylights. I called and immediately someone was sent out to remove the skylight, make the repairs, and replace the skylight. A few days later, a representative from Infinity called to make sure we were satisfied (we were) and asked if the ceiling had been stained. I said it was only a little area, I wasn't too concerned about it. They insisted on fixing the damage. They sent out a painter twice to make sure the little spot was as good as new. This company does good work. Their prices are competitive. Most importantly, they are responsive to the customer, before, during and after they do the work. Any time I called, I was helped right away. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing a new roof.

It could not have gone better. I was impressed since day one with their sales presentation and salesman. He was very polite, curtious, informative and profesional. Their price was also reasonable. The day of the roofing went very smoothly as well and it was completed in just 2 days. The yard was spotless after they left and the roof looks great. I would highly recommend them!

They actually did a good job of reroofing, but did not do a good job of coordinating and addressing the needs of the customer. I have a real concern that Jeff will repair any leakage once I paid the bill.
Description of Work: They replaced my total roof that was damaged by hail and installed roofing on an addition at the same time that was constructed by another contractor. I contracted the work roof work 7/18/11 and provided the name and phone number of the addition contractor, so they could coordinate the roofing when the addition was ready to be roofed without water damage. I also reviewed with them an area around a window that had leaked before, so they could pay special attention to it to eliminate any leaking in the future. When the addition roof was getting close to being roofed, I contacted my addition contractor and found that Infinity had not coordinated with him. After trying to contact Jay Ferrante from Infinity several times, I contacted the owner, Jeff Barry. He said they had a backlog and could not start the roof when the addition contractor was ready. After many phone calls, lots of frustration and some luck that it did not rain, they started the roof and completed it. I inspected the roof around the window and found that they did not repair it as we had discussed, had cut and damaged the existing window casing wrap and had placed caulking in the track of the window, so we could no longer open the window . They also damaged the inside drywall around a skylight in another area. I decided I did not want Infinity to repair these items and obtained quotes to repair the damage. Jeff Barry said the warranty would be void, if someone else tried to repair it. He finally compensated me for some of the damage that I had repaired. He installed a new window casing wrap on the window and assured me that he would repair any leak within the next 5 years. I have some reservation about that once the total bill is paid.

I think that Infinity Roofing is average. They performed the service contracted adequately. I can't really comment on the quality as the roof has not stood the test of time yet (only time can tell if the installation deserves an and quot;Aand quot;).. I do feel that Infinity needs to work on it's communication. I had to wait for several weeks to get an estimate, and then there was an item that was required by city code, and of course cost extra, that was not mentioned until the contract was in the process of being signed (basically once they knew that they had my business). If you plan to use this company make sure that you ask them what extra things are required. I also had a situation where work was delayed and I was not notified by the company of the delay. In general, I was not impressed with this company. And I while I wouldn't tell anyone not to use them, I also don't think I would recommend them, especially if you are paying in cash and your insurance is not paying. Basically, I didn't have any significant issues with Infinity but I don't think that they did anything that warrants an A+ rating.
Description of Work: Two layers of roof shingles removed and then new roof installed. Along with new roof vents.

1) Originally I had planned to use a company suggested by my insurance company, American Family, but wasn't happy with that company as it was not local and did not have a positive rating with the Better Business Bureau. 2) I then decided to check with Infinity Roofing in August, 2011 as they had replaced other roofs in my neighborhood and also because they had a good rating on Angie's List. I also had an Angie's List coupon for a $500.00 discount from Infinity which was set to expire on 9/30/11. Brian/salesman/Infinity looked at the roof and left voicemail stating he would submit a quote within a week. Talked to Brian and advised that my wife is a nurse who works nights and sleeps during the day and we would need to confirm the exact day(s) that they would work. Brian stated it would take 1 - 1.5 days to do the work. I submitted their quote to American Family who came back with a request for a more detailed breakdown of the costs for materials as Infinity was higher than expected. I had American Family call Brian directly who passed them on to his office staff to send a breakdown of the charges to American Family. 3) Talked to American Family on 9/26 and asked them if they had received the breakdown requested from Infinity. When they advised that they had not, I called Brian who said that his office staff should have sent that in back in August. I talked to Patty in his office and was told that it was supposed to have been sent in by one of her co-workers and she would have them send it in to American Family ASAP. The American Family rep said to go ahead and sign the contact as they weren't too far apart in price and he would probably be ok once he got their breakdown. I signed contact on 9/28 in order to be able to use the Angie's List coupon. Brian/Infinity said it would probably take up to 6 weeks to get the materials and they would call to advise the delivery date and to set up an appointment for starting work. 4) The materials were delivered and left in my driveway in late October/early November without any definite delivery date. Fortunately, I was able to get my wife's car out of the garage without running into any of the materials. A couple of days later on a Thursday, I got a voicemail from Brian stating they could start the following Monday. I checked with my wife who said she would like them to start on the following Friday instead as she did not work and therefore it wouldn't affect her sleeping. I left a voicemail requesting a Friday workstart and Brian called back to advise he didn't know if he had a crew that could start then but would call to let me know. I did not hear back from him and after a week called to see when they were going to start. 5) I talked to Patty in the office who said that they thought they could only start on a Friday and were waiting for a crew to be available on that day to call me. Brian advised that they could start that Friday and work on Friday and Saturday so my wife went ahead and took that Thursday night off from work so that she could get some good sleep and not be bothered by the crew on Friday. When no one showed up by 9 am on Friday, I called Brian who advised that they were running late on their previous job but should be there in the afternoon. No one showed up until 4:30 pm and then they just dropped off their trailer and left. 6) When no one showed up on Saturday by 9 am I called Brian again and was told they should be there to work that day. The crew finally showed up around 11 am - 11:30 am and worked until 4 pm. I called Brian again on Monday and asked when the work should be done as it didn't look like they were close at all to finishing. He said it might a little longer than originally advised because they had to remove 2 layers of roofing instead of one. The crew worked Monday and Tuesday arriving no earlier than 9 am and when they still weren't done by Wednesday morning, I called Brian to get a completion date. He called the office and/or crew foreman who said they should be done by noon on Wednesday. They finally finished around 2:30 pm - 3 pm that day. 7) I received an invoice from Infinity on Friday indicating the work was complete so that I could submit it to American Family to get the recoverable depreciation part started. I received voicemails from Brian on Monday and Tuesday requesting partial payment. I met with him the following Monday, 11/28 and paid approximately 70% of the final bill and then the final portion on Tuesday, 12/6. 8) I received a letter from Infinity dated 12/7 thanking me for using them and prompt payment and a check for $500.00 as follows - and quot;According to our records, your roof qualified for a $1,000 rebate instead of $500. Therefore, we are enclosing a check for $500 for your overpayment.and quot; Negatives -- 1) Company did not forward breakdown of quote to insurance company as requested until I reminded them, thus delaying the start date of the roof repair. 2) Company did not follow request to coordinate workdays with me so that my wife could schedule her work at night -- therefore, she lost 3 days of sleep while the crew worked on a job that we were told would take only 1 - 1.5 days and ended up taking 4.5 days to complete. Positives -- 1) Brian/salesman was very personable and took the time to answer my questions and check with his office and workcrew when I had problems/questions so that I did not have to do that myself. 2) Refund check after job completed -- I'm not sure if they gave me that because of the problems I had and conveyed/complained to Brian/salesman. In answering this question from above -- and quot;Would you use this company/individual again in the future?and quot;: I would give a qualified yes to that with the provision that I would make sure that my requests were being followed in a more timely manner rather than just assume the company was following it.

Response from INFINITY ROOFING
Member, I am thankful that you believe in Infinity Roofing and would use us again for your roofing needs. We continue to strive to offer the very best service to every customer every time. The April 2011 hailstorm did create some challenges for my organization. As we continued to offer quality roof installs we did struggle at times with not offering a level of communication response with our customers that they deserve. We were not prepared for the high volume of calls we were receiving on a daily basis. I have since made some changes and created processes that will be implemented if another similar storm event was to occur. These processes will increase our in office staff temporarily so that we can more effectively serve each customer. We always like to finish a job before we start another. At times we run into delays due to weather or job site specific delays that slow down production. I am sorry that your roof took a few extra days to complete and impacted your wife being able to sleep during the day since she was working at night. Thank you for selecting Infinity Roofing and providing me with your feedback. Respectfully, Jason Berry Owner Infinity Roofing

I gave them my brother's contact information to schedule an appointment. I called them a week after initially calling them to schedule an appointment to ask why we haven't heard anything from them. The representative told me the estimator already came out when we were not home and took pictures. They said they tried use a satellite program to pull the roof dimensions but could not. I explained to them the satellite does not yield any information because of trees and that's why I specified they contact my brother to meet them out at the house. I gave them my brother's contact information again, so he could supply them with the dimensions. We haven't heard from them since.

Although we never presented you with an estimate we strive with each and every potential client and customer to provide our E3 Commitment - Excellent Service, Every Customer, Every Time. I reviewed notes that both the office made and our field representative in our client relations management software regarding your estimate request. It is correct that we were unable to use our standard process for measuring roofs due to heavy tree coverage. Typically we use a service called EagleView for obtaining accurate roof measurements. Technology like EagleView keeps my field representatives safer so that is why we have made it a standard practice. However, sometimes we have to measure a roof the old fashioned way with a tape measure and crawling across the roof. We did field measure your roof and took exterior pictures of the roof and home. We determined that we would not be able to provide you with an estimate due to some structural issues and concerns that created a scope of work far greater than a standard roof replacement. It is not uncommon for a home that is more than 50 years old to have some structural concerns. Infinity Roofing is proud of the level of detail we offer on a roof replacement project however, we do not claim to be a General Contractor. I sincerely apologize that you did not receive a return call to let you know we would be unable to present you with an estimate. I hope you will understand and appreciate that we don't claim to be a jack of all trades but a master or one - roofing! I have spoke to my office staff and field representatives and it was my understanding that you had been contacted.

At my request, Infinity Roofing inspected my roof to see if it had been damaged during a recent hail storm. They confirmed the damaged and I met with the sales rep. Jeff to discuss roof options and pricing. I really liked the options that Jeff provided for the different types of shingles, no hidden costs and all costs were explained upfront for each shingle type. Jeff even provided addresses of recentily installed roofs so that we could check out the shingle styles to help decide which one to use. After making our selection we signed the contract and a few weeks later the materials arrived and they stored them in my driveway waiting for the crew to become available. The communication regarding the actual start date was good and they provided information about what to expect during the roofing activity. The crew cleaned up each evening and left the outside tidy. Did a great job of protecting the wife's flowers and other shrubs. Overall very impressed with this company and have already recommended them to my friends.

The roof has been good. We have had it for almost 2 years and we haven't had any leaks. The cleanup was good. I was outside gardening and we didn't find anything. The sales person at the time was really good. Their price was comparable, because we had three other companies come in and give us an estimate at that time. They came on the date they originally set.

Infinity was prompt in setting up an appointment and providing us with a quote. The quoted price was reasonable and was within a couple of percentage points of the other two firms that provided quotes. Infinity seemed knowledgeable and professional. We decided to go with another company after basically tossing a coin. In retrospect, and based on our experience with the other roofer, I have some concerns about Infinity that I'd like them to consider in future. (1) It is very important to clearly disclose the amount of debris that will fall into an attic during the removal of a wood roof. We were stunned at the mess. None of the three roofers we interviewed, including Infinity, adequately described this, and none offered attic clean-up services. (2) It is very important to assess attic ventilation needs from the standpoint interior comfort in the summer as well as for the life of the roof itself. None of the three roofers we interviewed, including Infinity, offered adequate explanations of ventilation options, and all prescribed essentially the same ventilation systems. We are experiencing attic temperatures that are substantially higher than prior to the roof replacement. No doubt this is due in part to the extremely hot summer (2010). Part of the problem is also probably attributable to inherently superior ventilation afforded by the design and materials of the old wood roof. Nevertheless, attic ventilation would seem to be a fundamental aspect of roofing that should be given a high priority.
Description of Work: Infinity was one of three roofers that provided us with a quote for a full roof replacement. We had a wood roof and were replacing it with asphalt shingles.

It did not happen. They did not return calls or make an appointment. I would not recommend them to others. My house was built in 2002 and I believe that they thought it was not in need of a new roof and they did not want to mess with a repair.
Description of Work: I called Infinity and asked that they check my roof as I have water spots on my ceiling. The receptionist asked some questions and told me that they had a 2 - 3 week waiting period. I said okay that would be fine. She said they would call me when an appointment became available. They did not call. I called back after three weeks and the receptionist informed me that the owner would call to set up an appointment with me. He did not call. I wanted to support a local company but they did not respond to my request in a timely manner. Completely unprofessional. I called another company, they made an appointment and arrived on time for the consultation.

The original date of the estimate had to be cancelled when my scheduled changed. I contacted the office and they were able to send someone the next day to check the leak and provide an estimate. Jeff called to verify the time, arrived promptly and proceeded to inspect the roof. He came down the ladder with a digital camera and a picture of the probable trouble spot. Then Jeff said, to my amazement, that the time and effort to repair the damaged area was so minmal that it did not justfiy the minimal charge. He offered to do the repair for free and returned within a weeks time to complete the job. He even mailed me the "before" and "after" pictures!

Jason was prompt about returning my call and making appointments which were on time. The work was not started until mid November due to other job commitments. After starting, there was a weather delay on the roofing job, and delay on gutters, and downspouts due to several windy days. Good job.
Description of Work: Received bid to re-roof, from cedar shake to 40-year Elk roof. Also, new gutters and down spouts were included in the bid.
