I was pleased with the work. The owner, Curt Coglizer, was good to work with. Cole was the man in charge of the work and he was also good to work with. Luis painted the outside of our house and did an outstanding job. The Pella windows are good quality. The siding and wood rot repairs were also very well done. Overall, Homeworks did a very professional job. We signed a contract in May of 2018. Because Homeworks was very busy, they were not able to start on our house until April of 2019. The work was completed in June of 2019.

All projects went extremely well. We have always been very pleased with the finished product. His crew is very professional and timely. The craftsmanship is top notch. We were always very comfortable with them in our home. We would definitely hire them for our next project.

We love our new deck! It’s like having a new living area! The men tore down the old deck and hauled it all off. Promptly building the new deck to our specs within a couple of weeks. It’s wonderful to sit outside in our new living area! They did a wonderful job and we’re very professional!

Our new deck looks fantastic. In five days the old deck was removed, the new one built according to our design with the materials we had picked out, and the permit was signed off. We liked Curt from the beginning - he was knowledgeable and professional. His pricing is very fair. His crew all did excellent work. We only have good things to say about the whole experience.

needed a cedar post concreted into my back yard. Was told by Curt they do "millions of dollars" worth of work every year and the job was too small. Better have a big budget if you plan to hire them.

We have used Homeworks for a number of years because they do top quality work at a fair price. They are prompt and finish the job in the estimated amount of time if not sooner. Curt and his entire crew are always very professional and are expert craftsmen. We always call Homeworks for any type of residential construction because of their superb work.

It went great. The crew was punctual every day. contractor was responsive to our requests and questions. The work was done very well with attention to detail. Since our job was completed, Homeworks has built several other decks for neighbors and those projects have also gone well. I had them do work for us in 2016 and was very pleased, so we had them do this project as well.

My deck had extensive rot and some structural problems developing. Also, cedar decking was looking ragged and worn and I was tired of treating it every year. The team poured some new footers and replaced two huge 20+ foot posts. Also 10 smaller posts on lower deck. Everything looks amazing. All decking lines flush and even and the entire structure look ready to last 20+ years. Neighbor came by recently to compliment how nice it all looks. The team got after it and was there every day and listened to my thoughts and comments as we went along. A+

After patiently waiting several years it was time to add a new deck to our home. We interviewed several contractors, including checking references from their previous jobs. Eventually we decided to move ahead with Homeworks, and we are glad that we did. They did not disappoint. With their years of experience they were able to take a drawing I had made on the computer of our dream deck and bring it to life. From the start of the project to the finish the entire team was hard-working, courteous, and professional. The quality and craftsmanship was exceptional, and they proved that they stand by their work. Several weeks after the deck was completed they came out to address an issue that had come up. All it took was one phone call. When they said "We'll be out there as soon as we can to take care of it", they meant it. Thanks to the Homeworks team we've enjoyed many hours this past summer on our new deck. Without a doubt, we made the right choice when we decided to work with Homeworks.

In 4 Days time, our old deckwas torn down...materials hauled away and area cleaned. New deck installed with mainrence free materials! Deck is beautiful and Curt and his crew were excellent to work with...outstanding work. We would highly recommend him and we will certainly call for any other home improvents!

From the first moment I contacted Curt Coglizer, I knew I was dealing with a TRUE PROFESSIONAL. He listened very closely to my list of needs and offered to meet with me that day. At our first meeting I knew this was my guy! Rather than coming in and TELLING me what needed to be done, he ASKED me what I would like to have done. What a difference from the other contractors I had met with! The work was taking place within an older structure which had been terribly neglected for many years. I was/am quite aware of all of it's needs, but I was only prepared to handle a certain number of those needs at the time. Again, Curt listened closely and took notes. By the end of our meeting he quoted me a very fair price. Our meeting concluded at approx. 10:30 that morning and at 12:47 that afternoon Curt arrived with supplies and a team of 4 master craftsmen. The team spent approx. 5 days with me. They worked hard, they arrived every day ON TIME and they only left in the evening after they had cleaned up whatever mess had been made that day. Curt was constantly checking in and always returned my call or text within minutes. Curt never allowed anyone to just show up unannounced. He COMMUNICATED with me!! Most of the time he personally accompanied the member(s) of his team for an introduction. The work performed was perfect. Yes, there is such a thing as perfect work!! Each and every task was performed to the very highest degree of my satisfaction. Curt and the entire HOMEWORKS team far surpassed my expectations from start to finish!

We knew that replacing the deck on our 23 year old house would be a big job, so we asked for a few quotes with references. Of the three contractors that gave us estimates, Curt Coglizer with Homeworks was the most courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. His quote was reasonable, but he also offered professional advice and gave us suggestions for a better outcome. Our deck is a two-level deck. The top level is 3 stories off the ground, so the height was a real challenge. The old deck tear-off alone took about a week. A lot of wood rot also had to be replaced including siding, window sills and trim. All 3 of the exterior doors that go out to the decks were replaced, as well as one large double-pane window in the kitchen. The new decks are larger, and they look great. All of Curt's crew members behaved in a professional and courteous manner. They worked hard in very rough conditions - the deck work began in late December, and was finished in late January. It got very cold during that time, and they just bundled up and kept working. They were very respectful of us, our time, and our property. The painting crew came in mid-March once the weather got warmer. They scraped and caulked everything before painting the entire exterior. They completed the job in a timely manner and cleaned up everything when they were finished. It looks great and we couldn't be happier with the results.

They had a lot of challenges because we have a lot of trees, and a big concrete porch that they had to take out. It took them a little longer than they had expected. I am very pleased with the quality of the work, as it seems to be very sturdy. I would recommend him to anybody else because of his professionalism and because of how open and honest he is with his customers.

**Updated 8/21/2014** Out of frustration of not being responded to when trying to finalize the poor work that was completed (ie gate and some railing work) along with completing the cleaning, wood rot, staining and painting of the deck I wrote the below review. Within a day or two I received a response from Curt indicating that he was sorry and would be out THAT day. Again no time was given but said he would be out. My wife waited all day (except the hour or so she had to leave to get kids from school) and nobody from his crew showed up or even had the courtesy to call. Since the original install of the rail and gate about a month ago, I have had 2 separate builders look at the craftsmanship of his guys work on the rail and deck and both have been appalled at what they let slide as quality. They took no consideration into longevity of work. 1. A gate that was built and hung that couldn't open flush against the railing. 2. Top hand rail is narrower than the support posts which now has a ledge of exposed wood from the posts that will eventually rot. 3. Poor cuts along rail and some of the seams. I have since fired Curt and his crew as he isn't reliable to do what he says in a timely manner and I question that the quality of work going forward will be to my benefit. I'm better off cutting my losses and getting someone else in here to do it right. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Railing was completed, gate was not done correctly and has yet to be fixed. Still waiting for the wood rot fix and clean and stain/paint of deck. Communication takes nearly a week just to get a response to my emails. Perfectly nice guy, but I've heard multiple times that their working a "big" job somewhere and will try for next week. Weeks come and go and no follow up or dates set ever. My conclusion is if you aren't a "big" job and spending $10-20k on your project, then look somewhere else. You won't get the attention you deserve and you'll get their "B" team doing the work.

All in all these guys did a really good job. They had a lot of issues with employees that they all felt compelled to tell me about. I don't care and don't need to know. The painters were a big challenge they were always late, and had to come back several times. We are very happy with the results but could have done without the drama.

I was very pleased with the remodeling of my basement by Homeworks. They performed all work in a timely manner, exhibiting quality workmanship and I was very impressed with the integrity shown by the crew. Work was performed exactly as quoted. Cleanup was good and there was no overspray. The prep work was solid. His staff was polite and obviously professional painters.

Very clear on the estimate on what work would be done, the cost and how unforeseen repairs would be managed. Gave excellent consulting on paint quality selection and overall a good job on scheduling and completing the work. Price was comparable and fair.

Very professional workmanship. We are very pleased with the results and are calling them again to give us an estimate on basement tile work and painting and possible ceiling replacement.
