Gary and his team did an absolutely incredible job on our floors. I was so truly amazed when I arrived home after they were finished. They look so perfect we didn't want to allow anyone back in the house at all. Gary was extremely professional and is obviously very passionate about his work. I will never go elsewhere, highly recommend!

Gary is the owner and he oversaw the whole project. He was very engaged to help us with what we wanted, and also very helpful to bring up things we hadn't thought of. He is passionate about quality and appearance. His opinions about what looks best are very up to date, but mainly he is very accommodating of what the homeowner wants overall. He has a great work crew that is easy to trust, even when nobody is home. Very positive experience. This is a company that we would enjoy working with all of the time.

Gary proactively communicated with us and explained their process in detail so we knew exactly what to expect. They were always on time and did amazing work. Existing flooring was a non-standard size which required the contractor to locate a mill that could produce a matching grain and size. The new floor was placed on a TREX base which required extensive sanding of the TREX and the finish flooring. The contractor produced an amazing floor that very closely matches the existing floor.

Last week was the fourth time I have hired Hardwood Floor Restoring Company to do work in my home over the past 18 years. I foster medically complex kids and dogs, so my floors get a lot of wear. Gary goes the extra mile to know and address my kids and dogs by name. He worked around our schedule to get the work done. The crew was friendly and trustworthy. They even helped me load up my dogs and bags when I left and brought in packages that were delivered while I was gone. Gary is very responsive and reliable. A great company to do business with!

The floors turned out beautifully. Gary is extremely knowledgeable and very responsive. Larry and the team are very friendly and I had no worries about having them in my home. There was one minor thing overlooked, but Gary came over when he was able and took care of it. All in all, the experience went a lot easier than I thought it was going to. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Gary was so good to work with and was very professional. He helped pick the color and came back after the work was done to answer some of my questions. We left for the week and had no concerns about his crew being in the house.

Gary is a pro. We called him because we had used him on a prior home. He remembered us, remembered the color of stain we liked and was responsive when we called. He showed up and did what he said he would. It takes a bit of time for the job - we were out of our home almost a week but it’s because he doesn’t cut corners. He pays attention to the details and tells us how to maintain our floors after he’s done. They look beautiful. Like we have a new home.

Gary and his crew were absolutely awesome! Professional, always on-time and transformed our 18 year old wood floors into what looks like a new home! They took great care in covering cabinets and hanging plastic, although we didn't notice much dust at all. Their attention to detail is excellent. Incredibly pleased! We have a big living space that had carpet and wanted to convert it to wood floors to match the rest of our house. So it began, finding contractors and getting quotes. We had several companies give us quotes for a new hardwood floor and were less than confident they could provide what we had in mind. Enter Gary from Hardwood Floor Restoring Co. He was recommended from a neighbor so we gave him a call. After about 5 minutes of discussion and conversation, we were firmly sold on having Gary and his crew do the work. Gary is an awesome guy. Very personable and down-to-earth as well as very professional and EXTREMELY knowledgeable in his field. His energy was incredible and he was very engaging with us. We felt very comfortable and confident hiring him to do the work. He came in and knew exactly what species of wood we had (in the rest of house for matching), what stain we had, and several other things that we had previously not heard from other companies that seemed important to be aware of. We hired them to sand/stain/finish the newly installed raw hardwood floor and resurface the rest of the floors in the house. I elected to do the installation of the new floors myself, which Gary also facilitated the procurement of that material and at an unbeatable price! Gary was very easy to work with, very punctual, and very responsive when we had any questions, likely tedious and annoying, sorry Gary :). Him and his crew came in and they did incredible work. Larry was his main guy on our project and he's awesome and the crew was great too. They were quick, clean, and professional, yet very easy to talk to and personable which is important to us when inviting strangers into your home. All said and done, we couldn't be more happy with Gary and his crew, both with them as people and the work they performed. We highly recommend him to anyone and would look nowhere else if flooring needs arise in the future.

If you need anything for your wood floors use Gary! We have used Gary and his team for three houses now and would not trust anyone else. If we ever move out of state I will probably hire them to come where we are!! From refinishing old original badly stained floors to sanding and staining a new color to installing new wood floors, you name it he has done it. We LOVE Gary and his team. They are like family at this point and everyone who sees our floors love them, every time. Highly recommend for quality, price, communication, education and just an overall good experience. Gary and his team have been taking care of the floors in my 100+ year old house since our original renovation 22 years ago. From the initial sanding and staining 22 years ago and 3 screens/recoats since then, we have been treated with nothing but professionalism and quality work. over it went well. The newfloor in liv rom was laid quickly & cleanly. Sanding went well. The trick was getting all the stain to match the older floors as well as my decore. they did a great job of matching it all.
