Description of Work: They quoted us on repairing a crack. Everyone else said that we had to spend thousands to repair and Gordon's came out and gave a no bull quote. They were fast and easy to work with. We have had no problems and the crack doesn't leak any more.

Description of Work: Comprehensive inspection and assessment of foundation drainage problems.

Description of Work: They installed a French drain outside of the house to alleviate water pooling & causing movement & heaving of the slab. This followed an engineer's evaluation. While they were not the least expensive, (about 10% higher than another estimate), their experience and knowledge impressed me. So far so good.

Description of Work: Installed an exterior French drain, removed three old concrete window wells and replaced them with new galvanized, and added 3 cubic yards of fill dirt after removing bushes next to home, also graded the site to drain away from foundation.

Description of Work: French drain on side of the house - tied two downspouts to perforated pipe - |removed sod, dug sloping trench, put in gravel then perforated pipe, covered with dirt and sod. Very professional. So far so good - of course, now it's stopped raining

Description of Work: Bought an Angie's list big deal. Called ahead of time, explained the crack in basement, they said all of it would be covered and nothing to worry about. Some of the staff answering the phones were very short, rude, and unprofessional. I almost called off the appt before the guy arrived to do the work. | |First guy who came out was wonderful. Injected the crack, but the epoxy left a little bit of a mess on the wall. There was a hairline crack that he said was too small to inject but putting concrete over it should seal it. | |A couple weeks later, we had some heavy rains and water was leaking through the hairline crack, not the epoxy area. Gordon Energy sent someone out to fix it and he did nothing, but tried to sell other services to us, completely negating what the first guy recommended. | |Overall: |I called them to epoxy and fix where some water was coming in, but they epoxied the crack that didn't have an issue for safe measures. Water is still coming in through the hairline crack and is not fixed. I essentially paid for a service and did not get a resolution to my issue.

Description of Work: Filled a leaky crack in my basement. My basement is now dry as a bone. They were in and out in about an hour.

Description of Work: I had a crack in my basement that was leaking. They came and patched the hole. They were super quick to book my appointment - out to my home within a week! The guy who came to fix it was great. He even cleaned up the cement mess he had made. Worth the extra money to me. Good job guys!

Description of Work: Fast, reliable, excellent workers who did a good job in 2 days. They tore out a retaining wall, built two retaining walls, put in a French drain and regraded on 3 sides of house, built a new flower bed and put down mulch around all 4 sides.

Description of Work: Joe came to do an estimate on our basement due to some cracks in the basement. We thought we were going to have to have the foundation lifted but he did a thorough inspection at no charge and told us where our problems were (not related to that), He also gave us suggestions on what we needed to do to improve the situations. He was very professional and knowledgeable and took the time to explain things and answer questions.

Description of Work: I had water draining into the basement from 2 different areas. One was a crack that I had fixed. The other was coming in a different area. They spent a lot of time with a hose trying to diagnose the problem and it was felt to be due to caulking above the level of the foundation. It saved me a lot in repairs and there was not a charge for the evaluation. I felt that they were very honest and thourough.

The crew was very polite respectful and completed the project on time as promised with great results. The crew thoroughly cleaned up before the left and we're very happy with the results. We would use this company again and would definitely recommend to friend's and family.....

Description of Work: I found the owner, the tech who did the work, and the estimator tobe very professional and extremely nice. They were on time and performed the work in a timely and inobtrusive manner. I would reccomend them to anyone and would certainly call them again.

Description of Work: My husband and I were really impressed with the work this company did. We met with the general manager who went through, step by step, as to what he wanted to do and why. When work started, he kept us informed as to what they were doing and answered any questions as the crew worked. The crew was very professional and worked well together. Here is what was done: The basement's east wall was bowed so they straightened the wall and four braces were installed. On the outside, a trench was dug along the east wall to do waterproofing. They found that one corner of the house was raised off the footing because the footing was broken, so 4 piers were installed. They waterproofed with Tuff and Dry and added sheets of Warm and Dry to the outside of the east wall. A drain was laid at the footing and then about a foot of gravel was put on top of the drain. A surface drain was laid along the east wall as well as the north wall. A sump pump was installed and cracks on the north and east walls were sealed . They also installed new drains for the downspouts. They raised the grade along the east wall so that the ground sloped away from the foundation. They are very conscientious workers. The basement was cleaned up and they landscaped the area that was dug up. We are very, very pleased with the work they did. We also purchased a 5 year service and inspection contract.
