The initial installation and work was very good, however follow-up on a problem encountered has been extremely poor. Diamond Contracting promised that any problems that cropped up would be taken care of quickly. The downspout on the front porch was built into one of the posts. We noticed in October 2014 that water was leaking from the bottom of the post. Phone calls were made to Diamond Contracting and there was no response. We had also requested the power wash be performed on the house which was to occur one year after installation. An email was sent to the company that was not answered until January 2015. The owner Wes McIntire stated he would be by the house the next day to look at the problem. We did not receive any follow-up and in February, 2015 another email was sent to asking if the problem had been looked at. Wes McIntire had not been by the house. Following another phone call, an appointment was set up for March 14 to look at the post and do the power wash on the house. Mr. McIntire stated the downspout was leaking and the post needed to be rebuilt. He promised to complete the work shortly. To date, the work has still not been completed. The joints on the post are separating due to water damage. We believed the company when they said they would take care of any issues that arose however our experience has been to the contrary.

The owner provided very clear documentation outlining every aspect of the job and clearly defining what was included and the timeframe for completion. Since we started late in the fall heading into winter, the full completion took a little longer due to weather, but the job was 95% complete within the time we expected. Their project manager and foreman were clear in communicating progress and next steps and they always showed up when they said they would be working. They were very thorough in documenting the punchlist of items that needed to be completed before the job was finished. In fact, we went through the punchlist twice to make sure it was all completed to our satisfaction. Diamond truly cares about these on-line reviews becuase they did everything they could to make sure we were happy with the outcome. I could not have expected a better experience.

The starting point on this job was making the selection of the contractor to replace all of the siding on our house. We selected Diamond Contracting. This was a huge project and for the most part all went well. It took about three weeks to complete the work. The house looks great and we are very happy with the overall work. We did have a couple of issues along the way but once the problem was brought to the attention of Wes and Cecelia it was taken care of. I would recommend using Diamond Contracting to anyone. As with all contractors, we reviewed the work done each day for quality. The people at Diamond Contracting were very helpful in selection the color of the siding on our home and made recommendations that I think improved the look of our home. They did a great job.
