We've had a lot of rain lately in Kansas City, and late one night, my husband looked up and saw a brown wet spot on our bedroom ceiling. It was raining heavily at the time, and so off to the attic we went, trying to spot the problem area. The leak was somewhat of a mystery to us, since we couldn't see any water coming in. I called roofing companies the next morning (Friday), feeling slightly panicked at the thought of all the rain in the weekend forecast. When I called, Curt offered to swing by and take a look at the issue, since he was in the area. He was slated to leave town that afternoon, but still made time to look at our leak. After listening to me describe how the leak happened, he went on the roof and quickly diagnosed the problem---a leaky seal around the flashing on the gas pipe roof vent. Curt fixed the seal, and walked the roof (without me asking) and told me he didn't see any other areas of concern. He also gave me a 10% discount off the repair price of $299.00. We anxiously waited and watched the water spot all during the weekend, when there was heavy rain. Curt's repair held up very well, and we've had no other issue. I really appreciated his fast response to my concern about the upcoming rain, and squeezing our repair into his already full day. I would not hesitate to call Curt Pierson Roofing again for any roofing needs!

Curt was very professional when he walked me through the estimate. He answered all of my questions with patience. I ultimately chose another roofing company, but I would recommend Curt to anyone that asked me.

Very helpful in making decisions on material. Was instrumental in getting insurance people involved and up to speed. Curt was very responsive and professional in his approach to the bid and the job. He was over an hour late, but I understand that sometimes happens. He seemed very knowledgeable and approachable when we met and sent an email estimate to me within a week. I left a voice message and replied via email with a couple of questions. I never received a response. I really hate wasting my time to meet with contractors that either don't want the job or don't have time to do the work, so I was frustrated with the experience.

The crew was very experienced and worked quickly. They cleaned up the area each day and used a magnetic nail finder all around the property. Cleaned debris from our deck and replaced the deck furniture to it's original state. We highly recommend Curt Pierson Roofing & Construction Specialists.

Great meeting Curt. Truly friendly and easy to settle my agreement with. My roofs are beautiful, and his crew were professional and unbelievably tidy. I am very glad that I joined AL to find him.

Curt Pierson Roofing did the job as described. There was frost on the roof that morning, so they arrived when the frost was gone. They put down tarps all around the house to catch all of the debrie. They tore off all the old roofing and put it in a trailer. They provided the trailer and hauled it off at the end of the day. This save the cost of having a dumpster brought in, having the dumpster in the way, and waiting for it to be hauled off. While they were tearing off the roof , the new roofing supplies were delivered. When they went to lunch, they picked up the plywood they needed to fix the roof. They spent the rest of the day putting on the new roof and the vents. They got it all done in 8 hours. They cleaned everything up: the gutters, the tarps, the plastic that tried to get away, and swept off the driveway and sidewalks. Mr. Pierson had 5 guys. They were very friendly and did a very good job.

It was amazing. Done in one day. He sure knew what he was doing, He put down a heavier and better roof paper (whatever you call it) and we went from wood shingles (which I think you have to be crazy to use) to composite and he put on shingles that when he was done it looked like the wood shingles, really nice. He was courteous, professional and friendly. He took the time to explain what he was going to do and the materials he was going to use. I would use him again.

Removed old wood shingle roof and replaced with Timberline Ultra HD composite roof with new valleys and roof vents. Extremely professional and courteous, worked as quickly as the weather permitted, cleaned up job site very well each night and at the end of the project. I could not have asked for a better experience and would recommend Curt and his team to anyone.

They did an outstanding job and I was very pleased. The gentleman was quick in doing the estimate and getting the job done. I had tile roof which required extra attention and he knew what needed to be done with that type of roofing.

Curt and his crew completed a re roofing for us this spring. They were punctual, professional, and very reasonable. The job took three days from start to finish, and they took great pAins to protect our landscaping.

I am a Realtor. Curt was one of 6 roofing contractors that we asked for quotes on a house my Client was purchasing. He is the ONLY ONE that followed up with us after sending over his quote. He wasn't the lowest ($10,995) nor anywhere close to the highest price ($19,400) that we were quoted for this roof but I will re-emphasize he is the ONLY one of all those contractors who actually called us back and continually followed up over the next 2-3 weeks of negotiation. And they did a great job once it got warm enough to put the roof on. Believe me, his followup and communication made the few hundred $ more well worth the price.

Everything was done professionally when it came to installing the Timberline 30 year roof. The old 3-tab roof was nearly 20 years old that existed on the dwelling and it was time to go. The neighbors townhouse roof was done as well. . Curt installed a new roof and did a fine job. The price was right. He did the neighbors house next door at the same time and both came out looking tight.

Curt Pierson does a good job at a good price and is a good human being

With about 4-5 workers, it took about 3 days to complete. They left the attic clean which is surprising. Their cleanup was excellent. Curt was there at least once a day if not more. He followed the project and workers closely. His pricing was competitive. I have already spoken with him to hire him again.

Bid went well. The roof was not up when the bid was done. Therefore there was about a $1000's additional between the bid and the actual cost. He did repair a furnace/hot water vent that the framers knocked down. Curt was very easy to work with and was there when he said he would be. His employees were professional in their job performance. If I had any complaints it would be that the debris from the job was left in the yard (stacked in piles) for me to pick up and put in my dumpster. My experience has been that the roofers usually haul off the debris. The roof looks great and you can't tell where the old roof ended and the new roof started. I would definitely use him again.

Work was performed as promised after rescheduling several times.

Curt was very helpful in selecting the correct roof for the house. He did not try to upsell us into products that would be mis-matched for the property. His office contacted us prior to beginning to tell us when they would be there. They showed up on time, did a good job, and cleaned up after themselves. Curt came around again a couple of days after the job had been completed to make sure we were pleased with the work.

Curt Pierson arrived on time, was professional, courteous, and patiently answered all my questions. He came across as genuine and honest, and I was very comfortable working with him. I was concerned about how the old roof debris would be handled because another contractor stated that the old roof material would be thrown from the roof onto a tarp on the ground and then the tarp would be dragged to the disposal bin. (We'd had our lawn renovated that previous Fall.) Curt explained that he prefers to only clean up once and that all old roofing would be tossed directly from the roof to the trailer which would haul the debris away. After new roof was in place, the workers went over the yard with a heavy duty magnet to pick up stray nails. Curt and his workers did what they said they would do and our property was left clean. He and his office partner Sondra, were both a pleasure to work with. I would definitely hire him again.
