Comcast

I would not recommend them. They are so bad. I called them to have a service person to come out and I needed to set up my Roku and was having trouble with the computer. It was not giving me the code to type in,. The guy came out and said oh you don't need to do that and then disconnected my cable. So even if I wanted cable I couldn't have it and then he charged me $80 for that. I asked specifically if there would be any charges and she said only if he something and then he disconnected my cable. We walked the modem from one room to another about 25 feet and that was the $80. I called to complain and they said oh no anytime we bring a truck out it is $80. The money I pay, the $75 a month is for a landline that I can not use for long distance, they will charge me for that. It is nice to have a landline but if you can not use it to call anywhere across the country. Most people give that to you and unlimited calls. They came out when they said they would and on time. I was paying a $5 a month service in case that come out so I was like what is that for and she is like oh it doesn't cover that. I understand that computer geeks and people that are attuned to doing electrical things and do not meet criteria as dressing very professionally. This guy came out in regular clothes in, scruffy, and lots of tattoos showing. Not very professional looking like the people that service my AC or that I take my car too.

I had Comcast internet and cable for more than 10 years. Internet was extremely slow. When I discussed this with Comcast all they offered was for me to pay more for slightly more speed. It wasn't until I cancelled that they actually became sincere in trying to retain my business.
