Arrest-A-Pest Pest Control

I called Ted, from Arrest-A-Pest to look at a mouse problem I had in the basement. Apparently some mice got in the house my chewing thru the insulation by the AC cables on the side of the house. I already had setup some traps prior to the visit and caught a few of the critters. Ted, came to the house, looked thru the basement and helped me find the holes that had to be fixed. He was punctual, professional, and willing to explain things. I'd recommend Ted to anyone with a critter problem!

Ted called and came earlier than our appointment. He was professional, efficient and knowledgeable. He gave me the Angie’s List discount and I was pleased with the total price.

Professional, tidy, and courteous

We are off to a great start and could not be happier with Ted's service. I just met Ted Garcia the other other day, as he had come highly recommended - and I see why. Ted had a genuine conversation with me to understand my worries, questions and concerns. From there he educated me with helpful advice, recommendations and showed me specifically where he can offer help on this particular home. There is no hiding the passion in his work; he was very personable and answered all of my questions, with no agenda of making a sale. I could write several long paragraphs of my positive experience, but I hope others read this. You will not be disappointed. If you want someone to put care into your home, this is your guy.

The service turned out fine. The technician came out in a timely manner and did a thorough spray of all areas in and around our home.

The owner, Ted Garcia, came by to perform the service. He concentrated mostly on our ongoing ant problem and maintenance to various other insects and small pests. We are VERY pleased with Ted and his level of service. He was on time, greeted me with his very friendly personality, was professional, and thorough. I appreciated his knowledge and enthusiasm in his expertise. Most of all, he was very friendly with our big black lab. He assured me our dog would be just fine around the chemical spray and that it is not harmful to him. We will definitely be setting up a maintenance program with him and his Arrest-A-Pest company.

I would have used the service had there not been scheduling conflicts.

Ted was friendly and informative. Provided a good explanation of the his service. He identified previous termite work and gave recommendations for follow up. We plan to use this service in the future.

Everything went well. We haven't seen a bug since that time. I am going to sign up for the periodic treatment because I liked the service very well, and the personal service was excellent.

Fantastic! Ted is the epitome of a small biz owner who cares of his service, products, and reputation. He was responsive, punctual, knowledgeable, and professional. I appreciated the lack of "hard sell" for an annual plan as we called him due to an expensive critter infestation in our fireplace. We plan to use him again. Delightful!

Ted was very professional and made sure to rid the ants from the premises. So far the only ants we are seeing are dead ones.

I have used this company 3 times now due to the exceptional quality of work. They were very quick responding to a call and made an appointment for a convenient time. Showed up on time and did a very good job treating for the pests that I have had a difficult time controlling. Dealt with a wasp issue in my front and back yard and got rid of ants, spiders, crickets and mice. The results lasted a very long time but when I needed another treatment I didn't hesitate to call them again.

The results have been effective to date and we will use his services again. Highly recommended.

On Monday, July 15, one of our dogs had a vet appointment. The vet told us that our dog had fleas! He gave us some medication for all of the dogs and said we should bathe each one within four hours of the meds. We should spray indoors and out for fleas. We checked on line reviews about flea spray products and discovered that over-the-counter products for outdoor use were described by reviewers as utterly ineffective. They killed every kind of pest BUT FLEAS. The on-line reviews strongly recommended hiring an exterminator to professionally treat the outside and provide a warrantee. We checked Angies List and, based on great reviews, we called Arrest-A-Pest. We explained we really needed treatment quickly as we would have to walk our dogs on leashes until the fenced yard was sprayed. Ted Garcia came out within the hour to inspect the site. He said that we needed to mow the lawn in order for his spray to be most effective, gave us a bid of $150, told us about coupons available on Angies list (which, together with a discount got us down to $103) and said he would come back in a few hours and spray. He was as good as his word. He also counseled us about flea preventatives to discuss with our vet and made recommendations about applying weed killer in a manner that would be safe for our dogs.

The experience with Arrest-A-Pest Pest Control was very good. It worked! I had some ants and they sprayed around the outside of the house, and inside. They were friendly and they didn't make a mess. I would recommend them.

Quickly answered call, made appointment and were prompt. Completed the work quickly and The result had been great.

Mr. Garcia was prompt, courteous and very informative. I was also impressed with his thoroughness. I tried to get him to do a shortcut (easier for me) and he said "nope, I'll help you move your garage items. I want this done right." I would HIGHLY recommend him to all friends and family and MOST definitely use him again. However, I hope we don't need his services. If there was a higher than A I would give him that grade.

We had this service done as part of an Angie's List deal. Before purchasing, I called Arrest-A-Pest, seeking more information and to find out if the treatment could potentially be harmful to my son or dog. Ted was very friendly, answered all my questions, and followed up with me immediately after I purchased the deal. He was very flexible in scheduling, and incredibly prompt on the morning of the treatment. I was at work that morning, but my wife reports that he was friendly, professional, and quick to inform on what he was doing, and what our options were. Everything went very smoothly. Ted also followed after the treatment to check in. I had read nothing but good reviews for this company, and am pleased to offer one of my own. I'm sure we will use them again the next time we need this kind of treatment.

He was very efficient and friendly. I will certainly call them again when I need pest control. He came out the same day I called.
