I can't say enough nice things about these people. First, they took a next-day appointment, and were SO nice on the phone. When our tech arrived (Scott?), he was genuinely nice - and said he loves Maytags because they're so easy to fix. He replaced the timer in less than half an hour ... for less $ than we expected. Because the washer was already loaded with clothes and soap, he even turned it on for us before he came back upstairs. How many service companies will start your laundry for you? We're just so impressed. We're calling them back in a couple of weeks to take a look at our temperamental icemaker.

The service tech was very professional and took care of the problem seamlessly.

Appliance 911 showed up on time, and the technician Billy communicated well on an estimated ETA until arrival. Billy was very professional and friendly. I rated "Fair" only for the following reasons: I had already trouble shot the failed part and had ordered a replacement part from sears. I had already taken the range apart and the replacement took less than 15 minutes. The technician swapped out the part, and I put the range back together. There was no price quoted prior to the repair, and I wasn't informed until after the work was complete that the fee would be ~$150 for the 15 minutes of labor. I indicated that was excessive labor for a 15 minute repair, but was told that the fee is the minimum service charge for the company. It would have been nice to know in advance that there is a minimum service fee and I could have evaluated my options.

Was told to call whirlpool. In 4 minutes he said it was probably the compressor.

Unsatisfied customers Contacted and had someone come out on a “free service call.” Removed a sock from the dryer drum and was told it would cost $149 labor and that it was an additional $149 for the washer. 20 minutes later, was told the problem was a filter on the washer-which did not require disassembly, just a quick rinse. . Total $320. Felt like it was too expensive for the time the contractor was here. Upon first wash, washer still had the same problem-not progressing to rinse and spin cycle. Contacted the company the next morning and they said the work is guaranteed and there would not be a fee. The next business day the contractor returned and after 10 minutes said the board was broken and would need complete replacement. Estimated $300 for parts plus labor. Judging off of the first visit, this would be an additional $400-$600. When I asked about the initial charges and why he didn’t identify the problem the first time, I was told that he didn’t charge me for the washer the first time and that the $320 included $149 service call fee and $149 labor plus tax. That is not what my receipt says nor is it what I was told 2 business days before. As the washer only costs $599 to buy as a scratch and dent from NFM and is 2 years old, I decided to not be ripped off further and manually add the rinse and spin cycle to each load. The same I as I was doing prior to repair. We were clearly given the run around and I do not recommend doing business with this company.

They fixed my dryer same day and everything went really smoothly. Highly recommend.

Non responsive in returning phone calls at a time when we could actually speak to each other Unprofessional message service and scheduling personnel

The technician, Billy, arrived promptly and had the problem diagnosed within 15 minutes. The power outage had damaged the compressor starter relay system. The starter system incl. a surge protector component was replaced. Billy also assisted us in diagnosing a refrigerator freezer fan problem for future repair consideration.

Excellent. Billy completely explained everything. Made us feel very comfortable with the bad news about some old appliance and gave us some good solutions. We are having him back to do some additional work. Price was very reasonable.

The technician arrived with another technician. I explained the problem to them. Within 5 minutes, he knew what the issue was. He explained it to me and let me know that he could fix it but, since it was a design flaw, he couldn't warranty the repair. He encouraged me to contact Maytag since my fridge was only 2 months out of warranty. He said that they are usually good about taking care of their customers. I paid the fee for his visit ($20 + tax) which was VERY reasonable. He said that if I wanted him to come back and repair it he would apply that amount to the repair charge (if done within 30 days. I was impressed with his knowledge and his straightforwardness. I WOULD CALL Appliance 911 AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT! They are fair, honest, knowledgeable and give you value for your money. I did contact Maytag and although my fridge was 2 months out of warranty, they agreed to cover parts and labor for the repair. WOW! Because of the nature of the issue, we have to wait for a new freezer door to be built. I'm impressed with Maytag, too!

He was thorough and told me everything g he was doing . It was a built in fridge and somewhat difficult to work on because of It size and compressor was above ... he was super knowledgeable ( Chris ? ) and happened to have a compressor in his truck that afternoon and came and put It in and luckily we didn’t lose the fridge

They quickly identified the problem and were you able to fix it on the spot. I was very happy with the service that they provided.

The refrigerator had developed a "chemical" smell, although it appeared to be running properly. Tech located two refrigerant leaks and compressor running very hot. Replaced compressor with non-OEM model, but better track record. Unit has been running well since repair and smell is dissipating. Tech was able to easily answer all questions and was prompt and professional.

My dryer had a wiring problem. Appliance 911 was able to send a repair person out the next day, and they were able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly. The reason I'm giving a slightly lower rating is because they gave me a four hour window and then called and wanted to come an hour early. I had to scramble to get back home to meet them because I had planned my day around the agreed upon time window. They did good work so I'll probably call them again the next time I need an appliance repaired, but hopefully next time they'll stick to their time window.

They were very quick to respond and the least expensive to come out and provide an estimate. Overall I was please, except the price. For what was wrong (and the amount of effort it took them to fix) I don't feel the price was fair. It should have been extremely less.

The dishwasher was fixed and recommendations were made to improve washer performance.

Appliance911 responded to my call, which was on a weekend, to schedule service for the next business day. The technician arrived within the agreed time on Memorial Day to diagnose the problem, and returned the next day with the part to complete the repair. If parts had been available on Memorial Day, the repair would have been completed then.

Great. Quickly found the problem and fixed it.

Kyle and his partner were great. They contacted us ahead of their arrival. They accurately diagnosed the problem, found a replacement part, gave us a clear understanding of the cost of the job, then corrected the job ahead of the proposed time schedule. I told the team I would sing their praises.

Our microwave quit working. Because it is part of a microwave/traditional oven combo, we needed it repaired because buying a new combo appliance would be very expensive. Also being part of a combo made its repair more difficult and dangerous. Jason was efficient and knowledgeable, explaining what he was doing.....all the time emphasizing safety to his assistant. After he reinstalled the microwave/oven combo and left, we discovered that the turntable was turning when the door was open, which its not supposed to do. We called 911. Jason was quite sure he knew what was wrong without coming back to house, so he ordered the appropriate part. When he received it, he returned and once again pulled the unit out of its cabinet and installed the relevant part. He had “guessed” correctly and charged us only for the part, not for the return service call. We are very pleased with 911’s work and will call the company again when/if we need applicance repair.

Justin, the owner, was communicative, punctual and efficient. I put n/a for the price because I do not have anything with which to compare it. He only charges $20 to come out and examine the issue, and that gets folded into the repair cost if work is done. The $20 for the visit is very competitive. We paid a total of $219 for a dryer repair. It seems resasonable. Regardless, it was a pleasure to work with him and I would hire him again.

It took two trips, but it was well done.

My Maytag refrigerator was not cold enough. I called for help, got ahold of April within 5 minutes, and the very next day Justin diagnosed and repaired the problem in a couple of hours for a fair price. Justin and April are very professional and dedicated to customer service.
