Did a great job! Would definitely use again

Overall very good experience. Started out trying to rebuild the existing Delta unit, 15 years-old, but after trying everything, the old faucet still leaked. So I was given time to select a new faucet, and the replacement was scheduled shortly thereafter. Sure it might cost less to have another do it (not really sure), but I am confident of quality, courtesy and service with Andy's Pipe Dream. Have used them before this and will use them again.

I would definitely call them again for plumbing projects, the customer service rep was very polite, on time and informative.

Excellent experience all around, from making and keeping the appointments to performing the work professionally. Chad is a smart guy. If there's a problem that requires some creative thought, he's your guy. He's also aware of the aesthetics, not just the nuts and bolts, so his job will LOOK good, too. Only caveat is that they price by the book, which means they'll always be at the top end of the price scale. For some jobs, you'll want Chad's skill set and the cost will be well worth it. For a simple, straight-forward job, a less expensive plumber will be just fine.

Chad was the technician for Andy's Pipe Dream. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He evaluated whether or not we had a gas leak, but even more helpful, he instructed me on the overall system, how to light the pilot, how to minimize gas emissions in the future. I also got an estimate on rebuilding a leaky faucet. Additionally, I asked about another plumbing related issue and he gave me a name of another professional that he thought could best address that issue. The experience was professional from start to finish. It was money well spent and I will use the company again in the future.

Located and successfully repaired a leak in a laundry gas line and installed a shut-off valve in the basement line.

After 13 years, our old dishwasher crashed. We purchased a new Bosch from Lowe's and declined their offer of installation because our set-up is not the norm since the supply and drain lines make a 90 degree turn over six feet. Our previous plumber did not respond (until over a week later!) so consulted Angie's List for a reliable plumber in our area. Sent emails to four of the top-rated plumbers and Andy's was the first to respond (by 2-3 days!). After consulting with Andy and Chad about the installation, Chad arrived as scheduled and removed the old dishwasher. Lowe's delivered the new dishwasher and hauled off the old one. Chad returned to install the dishwasher and ran into difficulties with the location of the power supply (it was grouted into the middle of the opening and the Bosch was high-centering over the wire). Chad saw this as a safety issue and gave us the name of an electrician to re-route the power supply. The electrician came promptly the next day and resolved the power supply issue. Chad returned and installed the dishwasher and new water supply line and made certain that everything worked. Through this entire process lasting a week, both Chad and Andy were responsive and professional while maintaining a friendly attitude. This was a pleasant (although more expensive than planned) experience and we will recommend Andy's to our friends and neighbors.

It went wonderful. They were fast, efficient and knowledgeable. They were very easy to work with and they always give the customer what they deserve. We are very happy with them and I would recommend their work to others.

We learned of this company through our landscaping contractor. We wanted to have one of the patio fire pits removed, stone jackhammered out and new stonework housing built for a built-in BBQ grill. Chad was the service person who first came to tap off the existing gas line. He was very professional and had a great skills set! I just happened to mention Angies List in conversation and he gave me an additional discount for being a member. Certainly, he didn't have to do that. After the BBQ housing was nearly complete, Chad again returned and ran new gas line for it, installed certain "code requirements" and operationalized it. He phoned before coming each time and completely explained what he was planning to do and why he did what he did when it was completed. We are very pleased with the work and the professionalism of this company!

Great first time experience with hiring a plumber. Within five minutes of placing my call to schedule an estimate Andy called to go over what I needed done. Chad was at my house within an hour of placing the call and immediately looked at what needed to be completed, giving me an estimate that included the Angie's list discounts. When I agreed, he immediately started the work and was finished very quickly. We called them again a couple of weeks later for another job, to have them install plumbing on a bathroom remodel my husband and I were completing ourselves. Once again, Chad was early for the appointment and very helpful. He answered questions that I had about the job we were completing, even though it was not part of the job he was doing that day. Great company, would definitely hire for all plumbing needs as well as refer to anyone else needing plumbing service in the KC area.

I probably could have done it myself for a lot cheaper but, it would have taken me a lot longer and I would have gotten a lot more frustrated. It is also nice to know that they stand by their work for a year unlike A.B. May that only does for 30 days. I sent them an email with my problem and they called me 15 minutes later- that's pretty awesome. I also liked that they waived the normal fee to come out. Nothing makes me angrier than a estimates that cost money. I'd used these guys again

Great experience! We had two items repaired at this visit. 1) Chad quickly replaced the corroded copper shutoff valves from our kitchen sink. (previous homeowner had remodeled but left old pipes). 2) And much to our relief, the leaking spot in our basement turned out to be just from an improperly sealed tub drain. We were glad this wasn't a larger, more expensive repair. If you want things done right, this is the plumber for you!

Recommended to us by our neighbor and we were very happy to have found such a great company! Andy explains everything in detail, provides clear options in his proposals, and quickly completes the work. We had 3 things completed at this visit and only the flapper install seemed a bit high, but it was done and I didn't have to hear the toilet running anymore. The sump pump install was necessary and it was a relief to know we had a functioning, quality unit in place. The toilet shutoff was re-work from a different plumber. Have used two more times since. If you need an honest, dependable, service oriented company, this is the one!

Another great experience. Received previous quote to replace the 27 year old original water heater in our house. We opted to wait it out and the old water heater lasted 10 more months. Discovered rust and significant leakage (including sediment) on our floor the night of KC's biggest rainstorm all summer. Called 11pm Friday night to leave message and Andy called us back within 5 minutes and scheduled replacement for 8am the next morning (Saturday). On day of install, Chad installed the new water heater and removed the old one in about two hours. Thank you for the great service on a weekend we know you were slammed with sump pump failures due to the rain!!

Chad showed up to perform the work a little ahead of schedule. He was extremely professional, was very neat and accomplished the work in one day. The city inspector came to inspect his work and passed it without any hassle. Andy, the owner, stopped by to make sure the work was going smoothly and we were happy. I will definitely call Andy's Pipe Dream again for future plumbing needs. They were extremely professional. Plumbing work is not cheap and I am one that believes that you get what you pay for.

Called and got a receptionist that made an appointment with no problems. Repairman called to see if he could arrive early. He replaced the internal parts, corrected the leak and cleaned up the work area. Very personable and polite fellow. Price was fair for the quick and correct work that was done.I would use them again.

I called in the AM, first thing, they had someone come out within an hour. He observed the problem, provided on an immediate estimate, and then began the work. The estimate included him walking me through the worst case scenarios of what might happen, and explaining what the estimate entailed. The work, from start to finish, was completed in less than two hours. He was thorough, courteous, and knowledgeable.I am very impressed with the materials they used. This was the second time we'd had the tub addressed in the last 16 months (the previous time NOT by Andy's). This time I think the problem has actually been addressed and fixed. I am also impressed with the spigot that was put on the outside tap. I like that they use as a default a spigot that is less prone to frost damage. I appreciate that I didn't have to ask for a "special" feature as the base service they offered includes the standard quality you want.

On a Friday evening while we were not at home, a toilet waterfeed hose burst. Andy's Pipe Dream respsponded very quickly that evening by replacing the hose and installing a new pressure valve as well as finding a service to dry-out our house.
