Andy's Pipe Dream

The service went well. One technician came out and completed the job in about 1 hour. They came out as scheduled. They did a nice job fixing what they could. I would use the company again.

The service was fast and efficient. I called around 9:00 Friday morning and got scheduled for Monday afternoon for which I was grateful since it was the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. However another customer cancelled, so Andy's Pipe Dream was able to replace the disposer the same day. Chad was his usual friendly, knowledgeable, and professional self. He has work on two or three other repairs in the past so we were glad to have him service our plumbing needs again. Chad's work was done quickly and thoroughly. He explained the details of replacing the unit and showed my wife and me the newer features of this disposal compared to the one being replaced. When asked a question about an issue with a gas line, Chad took a few moments to explain my options. That was most appreciated since we alos have a enw dryer delivering tomorrow (Saturday) Working was Andy on the phone to schedule the service and chose a replacement product was also a pleasant and professional experience. We chose the Insinkerator 880. Once it was installed and turned on, my wife and I were amazed at how quiet it was. I always enjoy working with Andy on the phone. Andy's Pipe Dream is definitely on my call again list when plumbing issues arrise. I discovered them through the monthly magazine and by looking at their web site.

Easy! Initially we had to wait but the reviews were right both Andy and Chad they were great! Andy was great to work with and Chad came to our home twice and was friendly, trustworthy and a thorough worker who did a great job-- no more leaks. Chad even took me to the basement and showed me how to shut off the main water valve in case I ever need to in the future

Quick response to our call. When Chad arrived he assessed the problem and gave us quotes and options on making the repair. He was very professional and completed the work in a timely manner at a reasonable cost. He left the work area as clean or cleaner than when he arrived. We were pleased with our first experience with Andy's Pipe Dream and plan to use them for our future plumbing needs.

He arrived within minutes of our call. Diagnosed the problem, gave us a referral .... and refused to charge us! I can't thank him enough.

Chad (the plumber) called when he was about a half hour away and gave me a heads up. It was nice to see a familiar face - we had Chad help us with a busted pipe a few months back. I explained to Chad what had happened and how I tried to get the old faucet out of the sink. Our faucet was cheap and should have been replaced years ago. It had been leaking under the cabinet without us knowing about it for a long time. It was time for it to go! He gave me an estimate and told me what he was going to do and check. I had replaced the shut off valves and he wanted to make sure they were solid and tight (I agreed). He got the old faucet out but not without a bit of a work out and a powerful saw. After seeing what he had to go through to get that old faucet out; my guilt for having a plumber finish my work disappeared. I definitely would not have been able to complete the task with the tools I have. Chad gave some maintenance suggestions for the new faucet and what to do if any problems come up. Chad is very knowledgeable and a hard worker!

The process went very smoothly. The original appointment needed to be changed because another customer had an emergency but that was okay. Someday the emergency might be mine. Chad called and asked if he could come early because his earlier appointments had not taken as long as they were scheduled for. He looked at the project, discussed what needed to be done, gave me the estimate, then began work quickly. He worked efficiently and completed the job.

This is an owner-operated firm, which is a plus in my book. Chad was very knowledgeable, and generous with his time as he gave appraisals and instructed us in the use of our sensor faucet; and spoke with us regarding the pros and cons on other projects. Very nice. Efficient. Experienced. Prompt and courteous.

Chad, arrived on time and was very professional. He explained the proposal on costs and what he needed to do. He did the work in a timely matter. Cleaned up and explained everything.,he had to repair work that another plumber failed to do. I will use Andy's Pipe Dream again and will recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Went very well. Professional, gentlemanly repair man. From start to finish less than an hour and he left no mess.

Used an Angie's list big deal. Had a toilet that needed new insides and the water pressure was really low due to buildup in the galvanized steel piping. Gave me options throughout and the costs. Warned me of any situations where the price might go up, for example when they replaced the connector to the wall and put in a shut off valve, it could have broken off the old pipe, but it didn't, so it wasn't too expensive. On time, called when was on the way, courteous, didn't take too long.

He fixed our problem easily but I got the impression he really wanted to sell us more than just the repair. The service was fine but I probably would not call them again because he was quicker to give us two options on how to fix the problem than just fixing the problem. Just a personal issue on my part.

He called me before he came. Was supposed to arrive between 2 - 4and he called around 2:30 and said he was on his way. I thought that was nice. He was very professional and polite. Did not try to talk me into spending more money on things I didn't need. I felt like he was being honest with me. Being a single woman, I don't know about plumbing, so I need someone I can trust. All done with in about 1/2 hours, all clean no mess. I had gotten $39 for $65 of services off of Angies List and then he gave me 10% off for finding them on Angies List. So I got a very nice price. It would have been 170.00 but they subtracted the $69 and the 10%. I was happy with them, and will use them again.

I was contacted within a day or two of purchasing the service call from Angie's List. Chad looked over the problem and recommended a fix, but did not have the specialized part it would require. He gave me an estimate and we set a return date for the repair. He stressed that it was possible the new part would not completely fix the problem but considering the alternative it was worth the try. When he returned he was able to salvage the original brass tub drain and affect a fix that worked perfectly. Couldn't have turned out better.

First of all Andy made a suggestion over the phone that, had it worked, would have negated the need for a plumber. I was impressed that he attempted to help me avoid a service call and repairs. The plumber Chad arrived when he said he would and within 30 minutes he had replaced the defective valve. Chad was very professional, neat and his work was excellent. I would not hesitate to use Andy's again or recommend them to friends and family.

Arrived on time with the new disposal and installed the unit in no time at all

It was great. I had been suspecting a gas leak in my basement. Chad came out when promised, checked all the pipes and found a leak. He was not able to take care of it that day but did come back later in the week when scheduled and fixed the problem. He was very thorough in his work, explained everything and showed me exactly where the problem was. I'm very happy with the results and would definitely use this company again and recommend them to anyone.

Took a lot of patience and hard work but Chad fixed our toilet. He had to try several different thing to fix the blockage.

Chad did a great job. He called me twice to update me on when he would arrive and came within the designated time period. Chad explained everything he was doing in terms I could understand. Went well. Contacted 3-4 plumbers via phone. Discussed issue. Two gave very high estimates, one wouldn't even talk to me unless a scheduled a service call. Andy took the time to discuss the issue w me and dependent on what the problem was, gave me 3 scenarios of likely fixes. He scheduled appt within a couple days, diagnosed problem (Jeff was actually the one that did the work), and fixed the problem in less than 2 hrs. It was a faulty cartridge and was the least expensive of the options we had reviewed. Seemed very upfront and honest.

They were very good. They did a good job. I looked them up and they came out and fixed the problem. They assessed the job and got it done quickly. I don't think they overcharged us. What they charged us was fine. They were professional, they didn't leave a mess, they were very prompt, and they were courteous.

I had purchased a Big Deal and was planning to have Andy's Pipe Dream remove a garage sink in new home my wife and I had purchased. The night before the appointment, we discovered a leak in our garbage disposal. Chad showed up the next morning right on time, indicated that he'd absolutely be able to take care of the additional project, and did a great job of listing the various options and costs. Chad was courteous, professional and did a great job. I would definitely use this company again in the future.

I identified Andy's Pipe Dream while seeking highly-rated plumbing services offering Big Deals. I purchased a $39 Big Deal which included a visit + $65 off actual work done. I received an e-mailed response to schedule an appointment that same day. We spent 24 hours or so responding to each other to try and set up the appointment, then a Pipe Dream representative called to finalize the actual appointment. "Chad" arrived on the day and within the 2-hour time frame provided (called when he was on his way). Upon arrival, I explained our sink's symptoms. Chad indicated that I might have a faulty "autovent" and explained what it did and how it worked. He indicated that a faulty autovent could account for some bad smells that had been coming from our sink despite pouring baking soda and later bleach down the disposal. Chad provided a quote. With the $65 credit included in our Big Deal, and an additional 10% off Pipe Dream provides Angie's List members, my total cost ($39 + $48 after credit and discount) = $87.00. I was pleasantly surprised by the low total an earlier-in-the-year experience with another highly-rated, though much larger, plumbing company left me with sticker shock. Chad showed me the part he was replacing and I could clearly see, when compared to what he installed, that a key rubber disc was missing from my part. He tested my disposal and "Voila"...no more water under my sink when running the disposal. Overall, I had an excellent experience and am glad to report I have a new primary plumber. From the first phone call to the end result it was professional and courteous. Chad was very awesome in explaining what was going on and what I might incur down the road. I appreciated his knowledge and honesty.
