Andy's Pipe Dream

I was amazed with this company. Within 24 hours I had a response, a service quote, and repairs. Mike was our plumber and was very kind, informative, and professional. He quoted the work, ask for permission and got started immediately. His work was completed, cleaned up, and reviewed everything with me. I highly recommend this company and this plumber.

Called to schedule an appointment and got Andy on the phone directly. Within a few minutes, he had me booked for an early morning appointment the next day and I had a confirmation text on my phone. Our plumber, Chad, showed up on the early side of the two-hour appointment window. It only took him and his apprentice a couple minutes to figure out the shower drain was probably the culprit. He walked me through the different steps we might take and the pricing for each. I had them do a diagnostic to confirm whether we had any additional leaks, and gave them the go ahead to replace the shower drain. They took care of everything while I drove downtown to work. The whole project was done in about two hours with minimal mess. Worth every penny. Chad even sent me photos of some of the other minor leaks they found that I might address on my own. These guys set a high bar in terms of their professionalism, communication and quality of work. Can't recommend them highly enough.

This turned out to be a much bigger job than expected. Chad and Mike found the rare needed parts through their contact, then traveled to get them, then back to my house. They worked on the faucets, and encountered another problem when old parts wouldn't separate. This involved patience and even a torch to separate the metals. Success !!! We had tried to replace one faucet and had damaged it so badly that it could not be put back in at all, therefore we had to keep the water shut off, because when we would turn it on, the tub was the only place that it would run out. We had been carrying water from the tub for use. Chad and Mike seemed determined to get us back to normal and were willing to work very hard for us. The job was done expertly and we are more than satisfied. Andy was also great to make the appointment for us so quickly. This company is now my first choice for any plumbing needs.

Usually Chad is the service provider, but on this job, Stuart was assigned. He was very professional and was able to get the water heater working promptly. Have been calling Andy's Pipe Dream for years and hope I don't ever have to use another plumber. When I call for service, Andy himself often returns the call and always tries hard to accommodate my schedule. They use texts and emails as reminders and to keep the customer advised. Although it was debatable, warranty was extended so I did not have to pay for this visit, but I have had larger projects and pricing has been fair. Andy's Pipe Dream is top notch as are Chad and Stuart.

I contacted Andy’s Pipe Dream after hours and he was very helpful. Curtis was scheduled to come out the next morning. I was given a window of two hours and he showed up in the middle from coming from the other side of Kansas City. Had the problem diagnosed and fixed after a few minutes... let it run and double checked a few other items before running through everything. Curtis is a very nice guy and made sure everyone knew what he did, and took pictures for future reference. Although Andy’s Pipe Dream just started servicing HVAC units this year he now has a return customer. Thanks Andy and Curtis!

Stuart Morasch came to replace our hot water heater from Andy’s Pipe Dream. He arrived when he said he would. He was careful and courteous and completed the work in a timely manner. I called on Monday and spoke with Andy himself. Stuart arrived on Tuesday morning to do the work. His work appears to be excellent. He communicated with me what needed to be done and how he would do it. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing need you have.

Appointment was scheduled for 8:00am. Technician called at 8:45 to say he would be there at 9:15, which he was. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Quoted $220 to fix a leaky kitchen faucet, which seemed really high, but I did get the 10% Angie's list discount so it ended up at $200. Repairs were done in under 30 minutes. While he was there I asked him about extending a water line to my refrigerator, which is across the kitchen from the sink. He helped me move the current fridge and pointed out that there was already a water line back there, so that was nice to know. Recommended for the quality work and helpful technician, but you pay for what you get.

Don showed up when he said he would. Explained what he planned to do, including worst case scenario. I appreciated that part. I never realized it might be more complicated than just putting a snake down the toilet to resolve the clog. Luckily, it turned out to be the best case scenario and it opened up after a few tries. He, then, tested it many times to insure it was truly open. I have used Andy's Pipe Dream many times, now. I recommend them to my family and friends. They don't invent new and additional problems you do not have. Their pricing for their service is fair. You can trust them. I do not say that lightly.

Don did a great job on the kitchen sink basket replacement and left the work area clean and neat. As requested, he also provided estimates on battery backups for our sump pumps and thoroughly explained how the backup systems would work. I would highly recommend Andy's Pipe Dream for your plumbing needs.

Everything has gone very well. Have had Don out twice and another gentleman (Chad I believe is the name), and they have been great. Have had clogged drains cleared, a leaking toilet repaired, and new shower and bath fixtures installed. These guys have been punctual, professional and reasonably priced. They take the time to explain the issue and breakdown the cost of the work before being performed and agreed to. I highly recommend.

Don Besette was punctual and was able to install my water heater the same day! I thought he was just going to diagnose the problem and give me an estimate, but he went a step further and offered to pick up the new heater and install it too. He even added fixing my leaky shut off valve during the same call. I appreciated it because I had to take off work to have the repairs done. I only had to take a lunch and 2 hours off and I was back to work in the same afternoon. Don is a true craftsman. He diagnosed it quickly and fixed it right the first time. Price was not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. My past experiences with other plumbers they always had to come back on a second call to fix it right. We had a corner toilet that would not stop running. We didn't know it, but corner toilets apparently are rare. Don came over exactly when he said he would and replaced the insides and it works great. He gave us two estimates but recommended the cheaper of the two as what we really needed. We would definitely use these guys again.

Fast friendly gets the job done this is the second time I used them the first time I had a pipe bust as a new home owner I was freaked out and they were the only ones that would respond they got to me right away. This time I had a leaking pipe. I didn't freak out I just called Andy and he took care of me thanks so much for the great service he sent Don out and he did an excellent job

Stu arrived, checked out my sump pump issues, and offered 4 options and costs. He patiently answered LOTS of questions. Scheduled an appointment for quick service. Stu was on time, efficient, knowledgeable,friendly and pleasant. Again answered MORE questions. I will definitely use Andy's Pipe Dream again. And who doesn't love that name?
