American Heritage Carpet Cleaning

We needed to have the carpets cleaned when we moved out of the house we were renting per the terms of our lease. After two years some of the high traffic areas had gotten dirty, drinks had been spilled on the floor, our dog had tracked in dirt, leaves, etc., and though we vacuumed weekly there were still some stubborn stains. American Heritage carpet cleaners came at our appointed time, they were courteous and professional, and did an excellent job cleaning the carpets, they looked better than when we moved in. Our cost was for 3 bedrooms plus living room and a hallway, plus an additional cleaning solution for pets; smaller houses/apartments would cost less. I would definitely recommend them.

I wouldn't use anyone else. They are the best.

It was good at first and then I think the results kind of faded fast. Actually, I'm glad that you called because we're supposed to have a cash back offer from purchasing that. They cleaned our carpet. They were nice and the carpet smells good and everything, but I think that the stains came back pretty quickly.

It went very well. The guy who did the cleaning worked hard. We had a couple of large oriental rugs that they moved to clean well and not damage our hardwood. We felt the whole job was very professional and very well done. My only note was that they said drying should be 6-8 hours, but it took a good 2 full days to dry completely.

They only cleaned 3 rooms, and when I have called them to ask them to come and finish; they say they've already done the work. I'm now getting new carpet put in, and working with someone else.

They came to do the service, but they didn't get the stains removed that needed to be done. They also did not complete

Very basic service. When staff arrived, he told me that purchasing a groupon or Angie's list is a very basic carpet cleaning and that most houses needed a deep clean so I probably wouldn't be totally happy with the service. He was right. I am sure I could have done the same with a personal steam cleaner. Hopefully the deep cleaning service would have been better, but wish they would have told me that when I purchased the coupon. (they wouldn't upgrade due to the extra time it takes and they hadn't planned for it in their schedule without rescheduling to come back a different day) Stairs should not even be an option with this service.

They are great! I've used them before and they are always courteous, prompt and professional. I have dogs and they discussed ways to protect my rugs from any accidents! They are just great!

They were friendly, on time and professional. We were very pleased with how the carpet smelled and looked when completed. They were able to get out some old stains & glue residue. The price was very reasonable and we would definitely use them again.

They were able to come within two days, which was great because it was for our new house. (Our closing was delayed so we only had 4 days between closing and moving day.) They arrived at the earlier part of the estimated time range, I was not prepared because I didn't hear the phone ring when they called. Reece helped me clean up the room I was painting in. He did upsell some additional pet smell enzyme and I'm glad he did. I purchased double the amount and he included another "dose" for free. The previous owners had something (I think a dog) that was peeing in the house. The carpets did stay wet for about 2.5 days, but he did say that might happen because of how wet and humid it was outside. The carpets looked great, the citrus smell was not obnoxious (I'm sensitve to smells) and was gone within a few days. The best part was the pee smell was gone!

Technician knowledgeable and professional. Worked very hard to do the best job he could. Price was as quoted plus one extra room and ScotchGuard protection at half price.Company sent only one technician instead of two. House was empty except for a glass dining room table, a bed frame and one dresser. Technician informed us that they cannot move glass tables because their insurance prohibits them from doing so. We were not told this in advance. Other furniture was not moved either. We have had our carpets cleaned many times over the years. The equipment used by American does not get into corners or along edges of carpet well. Extraction on stairway also seemed difficult. Spot in one room remained which we removed after the fact.

I have called multiple companies in the Kansas City area for this service. I find this company at a home show and agreed to have the service done by them. When he did show up for the service he informed me that he didn't feel comfortable charging me full price for the service. He only charged me the minimum price for the service. He did a wonderful job. Very polite. The floors look better then I expected. The technicians were great. Very satisfied with the work, no complaints. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

They were a pretty good outfit. They came out and did a good job. They were very friendly. The price was like a three-room Special Deal. We expected them to come in, clean the carpet, and take care of what we needed and they did that. The carpet seemed to be in pretty good shape after they finished. They showed up when they were.

Service went as stated. Two gentlemen showed at the specified time and worked quickly. They did all of the areas I requested and moved all furniture they were able too. They had to work around some things we didn't want moved and didn't complain. They notified me of a stain that they worked on but couldn't get complete out. I was aware of this stain and wasn't expecting them to get it out (it is under an ottoman and we don't know what caused it). Overall great job and I would use again.

We purchased a "deal" for $79 thru Angie's List to have 3 rooms and a hallway cleaned by this company. American Heritage got back to us within 24 hrs to set up a date and time to do the work. I told them at that time that we had extra areas that we would like to have cleaned. The two men arrived promptly at the agreed upon date and time. We did a walk-thru of the house and agreed to have a large additional room, closet, hallway, and 32 steps cleaned ($64) and all areas deorderized ($25). The two men were very friendly, courteous, and professional. We had moved most of the items away from areas that were to be cleaned, but they also moved a few items. The cleaning went extremely well. The carpets in our house are 17 years old and there were several areas that were stained, primarily from pet urine. They got all of the stains out and they have not reappeared and that has been since the carpets were cleaned a month ago (and the reason that I have waited to write a review). We have had other companies clean the carpets in the past and the stains always came back! They also cleaned a small area rug pro bono. We were extremely pleased with the work that American Heritage did as well as their professionalism and will use them again when we need our carpets cleaned. I highly recommend them to anyone needing carpets cleaned and treated.

Excellent. I look forward to using this company again for carpet cleaning but also hardwood floors and tile cleaning.

Two very nice guys came out. They didn't know for sure what my "Deal" was for (7 rooms for $99), so they called their office. Then, they were in and out in 20 minutes (!). They were to clean the basement carpet, but mainly only did the high-traffic path that runs the length of the room. I could see exactly where the machine was used and it was about a 2'-3' wide path for the length of the room. They made no effort to move light furniture -most heavy furniture was previously moved by us beforehand. They also cleaned our stairs to the basement, and a partial rug. Shadows of the original stains are still visible, and honestly, it just doesn't look as if the room was professionally cleaned. I'm not sold on the Dry extraction method, and next time I have the carpets cleaned I'll stick with steam-cleaning. The good news is that the cleanser was citrus based and smelled fresh.

I am very pleased with my purchase. I purchased 3 rooms plus stairs (up to 12) for $120.00 on Angie's list. The two young men showed up on time and were very respectful and knowledgeable. They ended up doing 4 rooms, all stairs (I have 28 stairs) and pet deodorant for all for only 60.00 more. I thought that very reasonably priced. They turned out great!!!! Thank you again for your work! I will definitely be calling again in the spring!
